Mothers Day Brunch was amazing! The food was delicious, service was the best and the view was awesome!
My grandchildren had the best time too! They are ages 1-8 and they didn't want to leave! They are had their face painted by a very professional artist and then they would go back and forth to the fun play room! What a great family event! On top of it all Mom's got delicious chocolates! I have a family of 40 people that wanted to come but they didn't have room! You really have to make your reservation early! For me it's a must for all the holidays!
My husband and I did the rooftop heated igloo. It was a late Valentine's celebration since it was on a weekday. I must say it was the best Valentine's date ever. The view of the skyline and the winter wonderland theme decorations were breathtaking! The food was delicious! The music was great! We ended the night with making s'mores over the fire pit! Our server Chelsea was awesome! An experience I would highly recommend experiencing the rooftop igloos! Definitely doing it again next year!
The Godfrey is one of my favorite spots in the city. The view from the Rooftop is breathtaking; the music is good; the food is exceptional; and the drinks are good. I highly recommend the Godfrey as a spot to go to for a special occasion or a casual gathering.
Excellent food and cocktail selection, fantastic view, and a great crowd make this one of the best rooftops in the country! Come early for some cocktails and a bite to eat with friends or a date, come late for a fun party and bottle service!
My BFF and I happen to share the same birthday and planned on a visit to the Godfrey Chicago for a late lunch...and we were not disappointed! The Rooftop at I/O Godfrey Chicago is amazing. Service was exceptional and the food was outstanding! Um um um, the lollipop lamb chops were succulent and to die for (thank you Chef Nate). I've wanted to try Shishito peppers forever and was not disappointed because they were excellent as well. My friend loved the crab cakes and corn/melon side and we snarfed down the truffle fries, lol. And, our server Mia, was adorable and does her job very very well. She was attentive to our needs and even offered to take pictures for us for our special day! So yes, I highly recommend The Godfrey Chicago, I/O for a great lunch, special dinner or major party.
A smart-looking, comfortable space with great views of downtown Chicago and a top shelf beverage menu that's second to none, but still the best thing about the I/O Godfrey is the service its professionally fun and knowledgeable staff so effortlessly provides on the regular. Go see for yourself next time you're in town looking to do some drinking while the Sun's still up and maybe-if you're lucky-you'll find yourself in the care of the lovely and outrageous Terri who-with her infectious, "Let's party!" attitude and ample hospitality (industry) skills-never fails to make your rooftop experience a moment to remember.
We had a wonderful Easter brunch at the Godfrey! Food quality was fantastic, constantly stocked, and great portions! We enjoyed the additional pasta included in the price! Our bar server was great and attentive!
What a great spot !!! Terri always takes great care of us when we visit ! Our glass is never empty and she does it with a great smile. I highly recommend visiting the rooftop!
This is an amazing rooftop with great views of the city and excellent service! My bartender Terri K. took amazing care of us and made fantastic drinks! Highly recommend checking this place out and looking Terri up!

Super cool vibes at this place! We got there early, about 5-ish, as we had reservations at 6pm but our plans got moved up, and the staff graciously accommodated our change.
Beware that before you can even go up the elevator, you have to pass inspection from the the doorman at the bottom. Not sure if we would have gotten in wearing jeans and tees, he was pretty intense (in a very businesslike way).
The food is pretty expensive but expertly cooked and prepared scrumptiously. We had a Caesar salad, a steak salad, a winter salad (radicchio, arugula, sprouts, butternut squash, figs, goat cheese, walnuts - DIVINE), and chicken satay skewers.
The only flaw was the steak on the steak salad - a bit too done for my sister's liking, as she asked for medium and it was medium well in the middle. Otherwise, all dishes came out at the perfect temperature and lively presentation, with the salads also being perfectly dressed with a skim of dressing.
For a treat after your meal, go out past the bar and out on the rooftop to take in the downtown view. Remarkable and memorable!

Good atmosphere, delicious food, love the ramen! Friendly server Stavros, he is really helpful and nice. Will definitely recommend! I got pork belly ramen. It was really good. Got tacos also, and sushi 😍😋 i asked for a sweet drink and he gave me naughty and nice drink, it was pretty good.
I admit I couldn't have found this place without my friends who have been there before lol But what a great surprise seeing the outdoors from inside on a rainy Chicago morning. The French toast is amazing, love that you can get pitchers of drinks. The atmosphere is chill on a Sunday brunch, perfect with football on the big screen. Would definitely come back.
Being in Chicago, the rooftop has the ability to close. That was great as it kept us from being cold. Every server was attentive. The music was phenomenal! I was there for a private function, but will definitely return.
5 of us Went for a birthday dinner. Let me say it's absolutely beautiful there! Upscale, great vibes, excellent staff, great views of the city, delicious food. The Brussel Sprouts were everything!!! Oh yeah the Lemon Drops get you together!!

The music was upbeat and the vibe was chill. it felt like a luxury oasis in the middle of the urban jungle. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out with friends or a romantic date night. IO Godfrey is a great rooftop lounge in Chicago.
The overall experience was good but not great. The cocktails were delicious. The view was pretty. The only things I didn’t like was the bottle requirement in order to get a table and the entrance fee.
A very ambient experience. The low lighting and modern decor made this place the perfect date night out. Highly recommend.

First off this is my favorite go to place all year around especially the summer time! They advise you(I advise you) to make reservations. They normally ask for a deposit but that goes towards your bill☺️. They have the most amazing drinks 🍹. I recommend getting a pitcher unless you’d like a particular drink. I also recommend getting the Godfrey roll (sushi) it’s the best additive thing ever! Great steak tacos snd mini burgers. Their staff is 100% top notch excellent customer service In every way! Each and every person from downstairs to the door. My first time there we hooked up with people next to us and got more drinks. It’s a great view (especially at night)and just overall a good vibe. Please excuse my photos as they are from different times because again this is my favorite place!🥰
