A popular and large sports bar in the growing South Loop. All the requisite elements a large bar, with a spare one, lots of alcoholic choices, TV's and good food. Atmosphere is conducive to everything. Excellent for a long brunch. Kid friendly. Good for large groups

Scout is a go-to spot for a central location sure to have great food, great space, loads of TV screens showing every sport imaginable. Parking can be challenging at times but if you're familiar with the South Loop you already know how to find the best spots. The Foot-Long Grilled Cheese sandwich is a must try and so are the Pot Roast Nachos. Great beverages as well. Highly recommend!

Had such a nice food experience here! Featuring the Mac and cheese, short rib grilled cheese and tomato soup, and chicken parm. The food was amazing but my only complaint is that it was TOOOO loud in there, and that’s coming from a bar gal! It was hard to have a conversation with our friends at the dinner table and we were kind of yelling to hear each other. Overall would be back for the food! Yum!

We came here for a special event, brunch with Grey Goose. We had never been here before and we had a great time! They serve burgers made with locally raised farm beef, bacon-wrapped Angus meat loaf, and signature grilled cheese sandwiches as well as other sandwiches and brunch items. The interior has a rustic cabin vibe. With beautiful wooden bars, cross beams, tables and chairs, the decor is reminiscent of a hunting lodge. The eatery seats around 200, has 24 flat-screen TVs, and has a semi-private area in the back with it's own bar. A sidewalk patio is open in good weather. In the back of the space, there's a semi-private room with three 50-inch flat-screen TVs and it's own bar for small gatherings. At the front of the space, there is booth and long-table seating and another bar. The food that we had for brunch was excellent! We dined on chips and guacamole, eggs benedict, pot roast eggs benedict (my favorite), tempura green beans, their signature grilled cheese, pulled pork, buffalo chicken and short beef sandwiches as well as rustic flatbread. We enjoyed great drinks including: La Provence (Gray Goose l'orange, aperol, strawberry and peach purees, champagne foat) La Vanille Creamy Martini (Gray Goose la vanille, five farms irish cream) La Vanille Coffee Martini (Gray Goose la vanille, Patron XO Cafe) They have a large variety of drinks from bottled and draft beer, to cocktails and wine, something for everyone. This would be the perfect place to have a drink or grab a bite to eat and watch a sports event, meet friends or family and enjoy the casual laid back atmosphere. I know that we will be back here again!

I really don't understand the low reviews for this place! Maybe game days are different, but I came here here on a quiet Tuesday night and had myself a nice dinner. I was waiting for the dentist across the street, so this place was in a very convenient location. On Wabash, it's basically only this or Wabash Tap, and I wasn't interested in going to a tiny dive bar with homeless people standing around out front. After seeing the pictures on Yelp, I had to order a grilled cheese. I decided on the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and ordered the monthly beer special to go with it, which was a reasonable $4. The sandwich was huge, as expected, and the soup for dipping was delicious, although I could have used more of it. I was out it halfway through the sandwich! I also tried an Old Fashioned Envy, which seemed a little weak and was quite pricey (I think $11-12). The bar area also smelled a little bit like stale beer. Walking around, I noticed that restaurant is HUGE. There is another bar in back and also an upstairs section. Because of this, I thought the restroom was a little small for the size of the place. Overall, I had a nice, affordable, filling dinner. There were plenty of TVs for watching sports and tons of space for large crowds. I would definitely come back.

Great food with large portions and a great variety of snacks. The selections of beers is also great. I recommend the nachos, the grilled cheese and the wings. It is also an excellent place to watch sports.

Sunday Brunch here is very relaxed and a great way to wrap a weekend. Adam, at the bar, was on top of it and helped cater breakfast to fit my diet requests. Great food and huge portions for what you pay. Thanks for a great meal!

Always pleased when I come here for lunch! Never can go wrong with their grilled cheese or the shrimp po'boy. And their guacamole is always on point. Staff and servers are very kind and always checking on you.

Believe me! You MUST try the Oregon French Toast. If you appreciate desserts like I do, you will fall in love ten times over with this treat!

Amazing experience! Our party was attended to immediately and the staff was very helpful accommodating us. Our waitress was also very attentive and had very good recommendations. The food was fantastic! Grilled cheese, wings, and burgers are good choices. Wings can use a bit more sauce, but still very tasty. We will definitely be coming back again for the cool atmosphere and delicious food.

Awesome place. I ordered the salmon entree and tuna tartare appetizer; both were tremendous. Drink selection is great as well. Nice ambience, with outdoor seating (love the flowers on the rail, nice touch) and also lots of TVs inside. It was a cool experience being here during the Women’s World Cup. Owner and staff were kind and welcoming. Great spot!

Very pleased with the experience, which delivers well on the promise of a sports bar with unexpectedly good food. A strong selection of beers does not hurt either. For those handling allergies, call ahead. The owner takes great pride in ensuring every guest has a memorable experience, and in our case, personally shepherded the order through the kitchen - bringing peace of mind that is invaluable. Excellent job, looking forward to returning!

This place is awesome. The only reason why it didnt get 5 stars was because I asked for coffee and water 3 times and eventually got water but not coffee. The foot long grilled cheese is legendary and the ambiance is fun and cozy. The tomato bisque that comes with the sandwiches is also creamy and perfect. Tastes freshly made.

We came here a number of times during our stay. My general consensus is that the food is good, though pretty standard pub fare. Their signature foot long grilled cheese was more than enough for 1 person. Service was OK. Seemed hit or miss. Not consistently good or bad. It got loud, crowded and less enjoyable during the weekend.
