Love this place, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and it looks and feels like a true Irish pub. Service is over the top, the food is good, beer is good, live music is fantastic, but it's the atmosphere and staff that put it at 5 stars.

Lucked into this restaurant. We had been out all day cold, tired and hungry. We didn't want a sports bar just a quiet place for a good meal. We found it in Galway Arms. We were fortunate enough to sit in the first small room to the right with the fireplace. Perfect! We opted for burgers, onion rings for an appetizer and beer. Onion rings were good and the dipping sauce was tasty without being too sweet or spicy. Burgers were a nice size and seasoned well. The people next to us really seemed to enjoy their meals and the bread pudding. You can never go wrong with drinking a Bass or two. The service was good and we really enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace and the coziness of the room. We would definitely return for a beer or two.

Really nice place. I was there for Bloomsday. Food is always good. They have many classic Irish pub food and drink choices. Servers are very sweet.

The very best Irish pub in Chicago. Great pub food & a great list of beers. You must come here for the live trad Irish music sessions, you are sure to return.

What an awesome place. My wife and i were visiting chicago for the first time. We stayed around the corner from this place and decided to give it a try. Needless to say, in our 5 day trip we end up 3 times here. A true celtic experience , the owner and staff are very friendly and the food is first class . Thank you for a great experience .

Love the atmosphere - just like a pub - and the food is absolutely amazing. Get the Guinness stew or the fish 'n' chips, and you'll feel like one of the group. Also, cider on tap: delicious.

We went here to watch the Norte Dame game. Great place! They have a big beer selection. They have Coke products. We started with the sausage rolls and pretzel. Both were good. I really loved the cheese that came with the pretzel. I had the chicken wrap with french fries. It was okay. They do give you big portions. The staff was quick and friendly. I also loved the decor.

the environment is nice and cool and a bit dark. we got to order baby guinness shots which was fun! (iykyk) The fries came out somewhat soggy and not crisp, and we felt that the breading on the fried pickles and the onion rings was way too thick. the drinks were great and i enjoyed the caesar salad.

My all-time favorite Irish pub. Having visited Ireland, this pub felt like the real deal. I love the interior. Lots of wood and Irish themed decorations. The food is excellent. Love the hummus plate. The corned beef is sooooo food. The burgers are cooked on a grill and are very delicious! Whenever we are in the area, we have to go to this location.

Great place to go to feel like you're in Ireland. Food is good, and they have selections for vegetarians and vegans. Guinness is always a good pour. The interior feels like any in Ireland. We always eat at the table by the fireplace. Very cozy!

Went here for the Alice in Wonderland Immersive Experience upstairs and had a great time. All the actors were fully committed their characters and played their parts well. They were pretty funny and entertaining; definitely recommend.

Galway Arms is the best spot to be in Lincoln Park and really all of Chicago. The staff is phenomenal, and the atmosphere of this cozy Irish pub makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend the Shepards Pie and a Harp, or one of the other rotating beers on a draft - always a great selection. Not to mention the traditional live music 4 times a week. A great spot to sit at the bar and watch a game, gather with friends and family, or take a date.

Oh my! This place was wonderful. Love Irish pubs and really reminded me of ones I visited in Ireland. I had a corned beef cabin aka Reuben and just loved it freshly carved corned beef is amazing. My daughter had the fish and chips (fries) was a very lightly batter breading. He also had a nice selection of Irish beers. We also tried the pretzel also recommend!

Amazing selection of beers and whiskeys! There's ample indoor and outdoor seating. We went on a Sunday night when there's live music, I think each Sunday, traditional Irish, which I haven't heard since visiting Dublin. The food looks great, will try next time!

Very pleasant place to spend Saturday night with live music. Although waiting time was 25 mins, everything else was perfect. Food is delicious, portions are big and tasty. Our server knew Serbian language, which is a plus, ofcourse, since we were group of Serbians.😁 everyone from our group ordered burger and a beer, except me who ordered crispy chicken sandwich and red wine. 10/10. The atmosphere is really good, the music is perfect, not quite and not too loud. Highly recommend! An update: again 10/10. No waiting time this time😀 the place looks amazing inside with all Christmas decorations! Food is again 10/10 (this time burger + seafood chowder). I LIKE THIS PLACE!
