Been wanting to come here for the longest time and glad it worked out. Taylor our waitress recommended the perfect amount. We got 2 small plates and a big plate was perfect for 2 people. The salad was good, but the carrots blew me away. For the big plate we got the steak and frites which was unbelievable. To top off the meal they complimented us with homemade donuts for a birthday celebration that you dipped in jam which was phenomenal. Paired well with a natural bottle of wine for a great price. For two people and tip was $150 out the door. The owner brought our meals to our table everytime which means a lot. Would 100% come back.

Busy Friday night at 6 for dinner. We over-ordered to try a bunch of stuff. Fresh naan and curry was an excellent starter. She liked the duck 🦆 dumplings, me not so much. Steak was terrific, pork belly was great for people that typically don't like fatty food. Brussels sprouts with gochuchang was my highlight. Service was friendly and helpful but
pacing between courses was too long. Impacted our ability to enjoy the evening.
Second time here (first was before the pandemic so glad they’re still here!).
Pros: They have terrific cocktails on the menu or will make you anything by request. The bartenders are very skilled from what I can’t tell (we ate at the bar too, which is fun). The menu is simple - small plates primarily - but very big on flavor. The mussels were the best thing we ate - the sauce and the grilled bread are beautiful accompaniments. The service and staff are wonderful. The music is from an actual turntable and they have records all over. You can ask for a particular album if they have it (or you see it). The blood orange salad was really good too.
Cons: It’s a little loud in there, so anyone with hearing aids will struggle. The pork belly fried rice was VERY spicy (not a con) but a little too salty for my taste (which is unusual as I like salty foods). We’ll definitely be back as there are more items I’d like to try.
Amazing place, service and food. The gnocchi was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Also recommend the steak tartare. Will be back!
This is the absolute best restaurant in the city if you ask me! It’s the coolest vibe, the drinks are great, and food even better! I love it so much that since 2017, we go every year for my birthday. This year was great, our server, Erin, even brought out a birthday treat! Can’t say enough good things about Ada St. Also, not on any lists (that I’m aware of) but their gnocchi has to be the best in the city.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting room and every bite of food offered. The atmosphere is incomparable. Candle lit and intimate. Service was outstanding.
The food was amazing, each dish was famtastic and also presented beautifully. The staff was welcoming. Our server was friendly and made wonderful recommendations. The timing was perfect, from one dish to another, wasn't too slow, and didn't feel rushed. The size of each dish was perfect as well. The atmosphere is comfortable and chill. This is a great place and definitely a hidden gem.
I've been to Ada Street countless times now and every time I go, I think "I should come here more often." Their food is always incredible, their cocktails are excellent, and the staff is always awesome. The atmosphere here is so cool too. You could come here for a date night, a dinner with your friends or family, or just dinner on a weeknight, and you would never be disappointed.
Fun ambiance with a good view of the open kitchen. We really enjoyed the Gnocchi and Sunchoke Mole. The lamb char siu was delicious too. Enjoyed the multiple textures — tender, crisp, and saucy — in that single dish. Bar seating was nice but a tad tight.
Consistently excellent. The food and drinks speak for themselves, but the ambience and service are also incredible. We shared the carrots, bolognese and strip steak. Exceptional. Fantastic spot on its own but perfectly paired before a show at the Salt Shed or The Hideout.
