This was great find on a quick trip in town for basketball. The service was great and the food was really good. We ordered a Caesar salad, cheese bread and the Malnetti special deep dish and added pepperoni. The salad was simple but the best I've ever had. I would definitely return. I wish they had more specialty deep dish selections.
My first time eating pizza from Lou's, and my first time eating Chicago style pizza. It is very good. We took it to go, but just as delicious
Amazing appetizer the Spinach Stuffed Bread is rich in flavor. A must try!
Update: second time here and service is slow, not sure where they're making the Margaritas but it must be a long walk. My meatball sub is very sloppy and the roll became soggy.
Deep dish pizza with sausage, spinach and green peppers. Malnati's salad, combination plate and calamari were are fresh and tasty. I like all styles of pizza but with the Chicago style the cheese is extra gooey under the layer of sauce.
While the pizza and salad are always the best this review is about a recent experience we had at Lou’s that blew us away. We were parked in the curbside pick up spot and while waiting for our food our car died. Everyone at Lou’s was so kind and offered to help right away. We were able to get the car jumped and the most amazing part was when we got home I found an email saying that they had refunded the entire $75 meal and wrote “sorry about the car.” What incredible kindness and amazing customer service. They truly went above and beyond and we’re so grateful. Thank you to the team at the North Center Lou Malnati’s!

Deep dish pizza 🍕 with sausage is absolutely 💯 % fantastic 👏 😋
The bruschetta was done perfectly
Our server Felipe was superb
Thank you!
This is a great place. The pizza and salads never disappoint. My only complaint is that the service is extremely slow.
Most recently, I visited on a Thursday evening. They were practically empty. We gave up trying to get a refill after 15 minutes of looking around for the woman helping us. When she returned, she dropped the bill and disappeared again. Waited 20 minutes and she never returned. Luckily, I had cash so I left it on the table and we left.
For me, the best location of the best deep dish pizza joint. A chain as iconic as Lou Malnati's doesn't really need yet another person to endorse it so instead I'll focus on this particular location. This is my family's go to. The location has a couple of major pluses: free parking and an outdoor patio. The pizza is always delicious and the calamari never fails to please. The service has always been kind and helpful.
It was a slow night but they also were short servers. We ordered the pizza on arrival and waited 20 minutes before being seated. The pizza was nice. The salad was great and the vinegar eaten was tasty. The server was so nice. We had a nice evening. We will return here.
Great service, tasty pizza. Dined during lunchtime. Loved that I was able to pickup a frozen deep dish to take back to NJ!
This is the best pizza I've ever had. My daughter just got into grad school here in Chicago coming from Texas. So I have been here visiting. My daughter brought me here for lunch. The food was amazing. The Staff was so accommodating, friendly and pleasant.
My favorite Chicago deep dish spot. The Butter Crust is the best. I don't eat Lou's too often but when I'm in Chicago, I have to eat it at least twice. Went to the spot downtown to eat lose the first time I was in Chicago but this spot up north has nice decor and friendly staff. Only thing I would have wished for is a deeper selection of appetizers while we wait for our pizza to be made. Salad was excellent and nice beers on tap. Will be back again on the next round
I live in the neighborhood, so I feel like I either eat here or get take out every few weeks. A few things are consistent... Such as pizza that is always really good. Doesn't matter if it's thin crust or deep dish, it's always delicious. However, I feel the service is always off. Eating there, servers often disappear. Ordering take out, I often need to find someone in the main restaurant to tell a worker to go to takeout area so I can pick up my order. It's needlessly average service when the place could be all around great.
I arrived yesterday, asked a few strangers who had the best pizza and this place came out of a few different peoples faces, so I had to try and It did not disappoint. Someone said that it’s a touristy restaurant but, the quality and taste wasn’t touristy, it was great! Pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly and the tomato sauce was perfect. The beer was also refreshing as it felt like it was 400 degrees yesterday.
Hands down, the best pizza I've ever had. I'm not usually a big fan of sausage on my pizza, but we had to try it since they make their own sausage. OH MY. We went with the classic sausage and added pepperoni. The crust is buttery and baked perfectly to a golden crust. The sauce is the perfect flavor and acidity. Cheese yes! And of course that sausage. A very deep dish of goodness. I was full after one slice.
