Awesome sports bar in the South loop. Lots of TVs and great environment.
We were looking for a place close to our hotel to grab a bite to eat and hang out for a bit, while we waited for our friends to get out of a show. I'm glad we stumbled upon this place! The servers are very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Well priced. I ordered the "chicken tenders" which is basically boneless wings once you add the sauce. They were the perfect amount of crisp and just right on the spice. The Bloody Mary I ordered was probably one of the BEST ones I have ever had. I regret ordering the small and wish I would have seen the loaded Bloody Mary option! It looks fabulous. The atmosphere was very sports bar-ish, with several TVs (though there were no "big" games on. I can imagine how rowdy it gets when there is though!). The front windows open up to create a patio like feel. Would love to go back if I'm ever in town again!
Great food. Great staff. Fantastic management. Great place just to kick back or catch a game. Bartenders and food servers are very polite and do not rush u in and out of the establishment. I have been going there for years and never had a bad meal. Street parking only so make sure u pay your meter. Because they love writing tickets in that area.
Best sports bar in the South Loop! There are tons of TVs of different sizes and at every angle to please the sports enthusiasts, and for those that are just here for the food and beverages - they have you covered too. They have an extensive draft beer list and they offer their appetizers in different portions and packages for sharing. They make nearly all if not all items in-house including tortilla chips and guacamole which I believe I have ordered every time I've gone! There is some outdoor seating but there are large windows in the front which they open even if it's a little toasty out and you can still benefit from the AC.
I ended up coming here with a group to have a few drinks and the experience did not disappoint. The servers were friendly and seemed to come by at the right times. They had a good-sized list of drinks with some nice choices on draft, including a cider. I ordered the draft cider which was Angry Orchard and it came in a really neat Angry Orchard glass! This was the first place I had ever gotten one of those.
Great Place to watch any games, talk to a friendly neighbor, bar tender, manager and the owner will have a interesting conversation with you as well. The pizza is very good. They also have an extended beer list to select from.
I was in town visiting my son at his college and wanted to watch Okla State football game. I went by myself to Jimmy Green's. I walked in and asked the if they had that game. It is very hard to get Big 12 games that are not national in Chicago. A guy, who I presume was the owner found me a place at the bar to sit next to a TV and after searching a while found the game. It was nice considering the bar was very crowded at the time and he would not have lost any money without my business, Not only did he find me a TV he came by several times and talked to, so did several patrons who were watching other games. I had a few beers and enjoyed the game. I would highly recommend this bar.
This is my favorite sports bar in the city. NFL Sunday ticket. No matter where you sit, you can see a TV. Really cheap and awesome bar food. And a great selection of beers. It's just awesome.
Great place to grab drinks and dinner while watching a game. Friendly staff and they have pretty good bar food. Cool place to meet friends for a game. We usually stop in a few times a month.
Perfect sports bar in my opinion. Good screens, great beer on tap, pretty barmaids and tasty food. Maybe a bit too modern feeling for some sports bar traditionalists, but I think it works well.
Great food and drinks. Damm good nachos! One of my favorite places in the city! So sad they've closed ☹. If you were ever wondering, check out their Instagram page
