I heard they were closing permanently on 7/22 so I stopped for lunch with a coworker. We ordered the lunch special for $18. Everything was great. I really enjoyed the curries they served and the garlic nan was delicious. It's unfortunate they are closing. The west loop will be losing a great ethnic restaurant.
The food here is quite authentic. We enjoyed the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, shrimp vindaloo, and chicken biriyani. All delicious. I would also recommend the mango lassi.
Definitely the best Indian restaurant around the Downtown area and the best I have had in US so far. Tried Chicken Tandoori, Butter Chicken, Kadhai Paneer and Garlic Naan. All of theirs taste would remind you of a good Indian Restaurant back in India. Special mention to the Malai Kofta! ❤️ And the Gajar ka Halwa and Kheer combo for dessert! Epic.
Finally an authentic Indian food... Was searching for weeks and so glad my friend took me to this gem.
Everything we ordered was made to perfection.
Highly recommended and please don't be scared to order medium spicy, adds a bit flavor and not too hot at all.
$19 is a bit pricey for food, but I've been wanting to dine here for over a year, so we splurged. Not extremely clear on how it works, but we were brought a variety of dishes and everything was extremely tasty. We were able to finish nearly everything - I wish I could have a bit more of a taste of 2-3 of the dishes, but I was stuffed! Downside is it took over an hour, so I was late getting back to work! Staff was very friendly, and we were able to be sat right away.
Went here for lunch and this is hands down the best Indian food I've had in my life so far. The all you can eat lunch was the icing on the cake and pushed this into excellent category. Food was on point and timely.
Staff was attentive to our needs. We paid around $15 each for the lunch special, but you definitely get your money's worth even if you don't take advantage of the all you can eat option. Whats surprising is that its a rather classy looking restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Only thing that disappointed me was the desert which was just a fried donut hole covered in syrup.
Extremely flavorful food. I was so happy to bring my father and mother in law there for a birthday dinner. It was easy to please their vegetarian preferences, be in a beautiful atmosphere and have the pleasure of interacting with their helpful staff.
Recently I went with my office colleagues for the Diwali lunch. We were 25 of them, the restaurant crew very well managed the 25 people. we had the lunch buffet and they brought us all the variety of curries they had. all the dishes were outstanding especially the Navratan Korma it was out of the world. Even tough the restaurant was very crowded we got our food on time. Everybody in my team enjoyed the food. the prices are bit high but still worth it.
Yummy! I visited this place a few months ago but finally got to reviewing it. I love spicy Indian food and already tried many restaurants in the city. Jaipur, in my opinion, is one of the best. The food here is simply AMAZING. I highly recommend their garlic naan and lamb curry. Mind that you will leave with a full stomach as their portions are quite generous. Can’t wait to go there again -- a great dining experience. P. S. Jaipur is located in West Loop, an area that can become crowded especially on the weekends. Good thing they have free parking right in front of the restaurant.
Low key...No idea how this place is rater only a 3.8/5. Possibly one of the best Indian Restaurants that I have went to. Usually the service is poor at Indian Restaurants, but no in this one. You will be welcomed by the staff and will be treated as if you were home. The chef even took the time to come out and greet us and the food prompted me to give her a hug. Must try!
We enjoyed a lovely and delicious meal. While the atmosphere was a but loud, it was lively and lovely. I enjoyed delicious samosas and a wonderful lamb dish (Lamb Madras). We look forward to returning soon.
Heard of Jaipur from a friend and we visited because we were craving Indian food for lunch. It did not disappoint.
We ordered the garlic naan, laccha paratha and lamb Keema naan. The breads were excellent. Well cooked and not greasy at all.
For curries we got Kerala chicken and chole both were damn good. Perfectly cooked and just the right amount of spice.
They have indianised cocktails and we ordered jaljeera flavored cocktails which the ladies told me was not that great. I had the spiced chaas (non-alcoholic buttermilk) which was excellent though a little thick.
As far as pricing goes, Jaipur is fairly expensive and I don't think the food and quantity of it justifies the price. They have a very large menu though and I will be visiting again to try out something else. Lots of vegetarian options as well.
