My wife and I were in Chicago for our third show at Second City and decided to find dinner near the Club. My nickname is Woody, so the choice was obvious. We were seated right away, despite not having reservations. Service was by far the best I've ever experienced. Our drinks and appetizer arrived within minutes of sitting down. Food was not your typical bar fare... Much better!
This was by far the best dinner/bar experience we have ever had in Chicago or anywhere else.
I will tell everyone I know about Woodie's Flat.
Got the Caesar salad with chicken. It was good. Not the best I've had but still very delicious. Has a nice patio area and we were waited on quickly
Rarely do reviews for wings but these are fresh and great. Nice patio outside and a good selection of beers!
Awesome bar for going out or watching games. They're a backer bar for Ohio sports (Ohio State, Bengals, etc). Fantastic service always, super accommodating and friendly (esp Dottie). The GM Shawn is great, fun to chat with and very helpful. Good drink list and beers on tap. Food, especially wings, very solid.

If you're a Bengals fan you'll be in heaven. The wings are pretty good and the. Waitress was very nice and she recommend the buff Buffalo sauces two thumbs up

So me and my boyfriend visited this place 12/6/21 around 9:30 and the service was still great. I can’t remember our server’s name, but as soon as we came in the bar, we were greeted and sat down with cups of waters. After about a minute of looking over the menu, we decided to order two one-pound orders of wings. This bar is known for their wings, so that’s what we came for. We decided to order the Sriracha Soy, Sweet Bourbon, Parmesan-Garlic and Nashville Hot. The Sriracha and Bourbon wings DID NOT disappoint ☺️ Not only were the wings very crispy and well done (just how I like it) but the sauces were executed perfectly. On the other hand, the Parmesan and Nashville hot wings were our least favorite. They just didn’t pack enough flavor for our liking. However, with the help of great service and great cocktails (pineapple mojito and a long island), I will still give this place 5/5 stars. I look forward to returning, and one day I hope to see the chef add lemon pepper wings. Thanks again Woodie’s 🤞🏾

This place is known for its Wings and I had Grilled Wings for the first time.
They were amazing, delicious.
We ordered Bourbon flavored and Chimmichuri flavored wings which are served with ranch and a slaw.
We also ordered Pretzel which is served with 2 dips.
Tried their Cucumber and Mint Kettle One Vodka cocktail and a German Pilsner Beer which was draft.
Super fun place in Old Town, we've gone here a lot after playing volleyball at North Avenue beach. Definitely get the wings here, but everything comes in great portions for the price, and it's all delicious. Tend to get a little overwhelmed during the busy portions of the evening, but still great service!
Awesome bar with great service and drink specials. Stopped by recently for some Friday evening beer towers. Can't beat $30 Bud light towers at all. Great seating outdoors and upstairs. This place is usually packed from the bottom floor bar to the top. No rooftop by they do feature 3 bars and restaurant type seating downstairs.
Best hot wings in the city. The quality of the chicken is unbeatable. They are not messing around with the Super Buffalo. Bring some milk!!!

Drove nearly 900 miles to attend an event upstairs at Woodies. It was well worth the drive. LOL. Friendly staff great food fun atmosphere. Looking forward to the next event however I think I will fly next time.
We went to Woodie’s night during the Wing Out series and were very impressed! The guy who seemed to be in charge (owner, manager?) came to each and every table to explain the process of how they make their wings - double deep fried in a butter/buffalo sauce and lightly smoked so they are fresh and crispy. He said times have been hard recently and they’ve been trying to reinvent themselves, including introducing all these fun new wing flavors such as cheesy garlic, siracha soy, sweet bourbon bacon, Nashville hot, and of course regular or mild buffalo. You can get two different sauces per single order so you can try out different flavors. Dog owners can bring their dogs out on the patio where the friendly waitstaff will bring them a treat. Great vibe at this place, would definitely come back!
We’ve been to every bengals bar in the city and this one is the best! Hands down. Also service was AMAZING. Shout out to Brittany who had a new drink in my hand as I was taking my last sip EVERYTIME. She was so sweet and even gave us a round of shots. My friend won fan of the day and got a $100 gift card. Excited to use that next week! Who Dey!!!!!
First time at this place and the wings were super tasty.. 10/10. The reviews mention excellent service, however our waitress didn't come around often. It was a Thursday night and very packed so I'm not sure if there was a game or what (total frat house), but she was probably focusing on the bar inside. I still enjoyed the food/atmosphere and will be back again 😊
Great spot for buckeye fans. Visited during football game and great place if you cant be in Columbus. Always stop in when in the area to watch the games. Have their own Brutus that goes around. Staff is friendly and good is really good. O-H
