We had a wonderful time. Our life in Chicago will be ending soon and Tarantino's is one of our neighborhood eateries. We're checking off our Chicago bucket list before we leave and this place was our first stop. Great food, great people...we plan to take them all North to Oshkosh, God knows we could use a fine dining restaurant there. Cheers, may we meet again.

Great food, great ambiance! Super wine and drink list. Great for a date or celebration. They let you order 2 half orders of different pastas if you can’t decide! Well done!

We enjoyed Tarantino's twice during our weekend vacation in Lincoln Park. Great staff and loved having a quality restaurant in the neighborhood. The squash ravioli & mustard crusted salmon were exceptional.

The food is amazing. The drinks are cutting edge. The service is perfect. Most importantly, the ambiance is a model for all restaurants to follow. You must go!

This is the best eatery in the midwest. Harrison sent me a message from whereever dead writers go. He wants me to bring him one of their chops.

Some of the best Italian in Chicago. An absolute classic. Off menu - order the veal parmigiana. The rigatoni is delicious, as is the black linguine. Restaurant is good for big groups, birthdays, work dinners, etc. Good cocktails and wine list. Patio is nice in summer months. Inside is cozy in the winter.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The staff are all great and the bartenders make amazing drinks. I always ask for a wine pairing based on my entree and they have yet to disappoint. This is my go to place for when my and my friends are looking to treat ourselves. I cannot recommend Tarantino's enough.

Sure, Armitage Alehouse is the restaurant currently hogging all the hype in this neighborhood, but don’t sleep on Tarantino’s, which has been a mainstay for 25+ years. It’s a charming family-owned Italian spot good for a casual date or dinner with friends, and it boasts some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. We sat at the small bar, and what was supposed to be a 30 minute drop-in for a couple of drinks turned into a 2+ hour romp where we closed down the restaurant along with the incredible bartenders. We only did apps, but going off the meatballs and caprese salad, I’m confident you’ll be in good hands if you enjoy classic Italian food with hearty portions. If it wasn’t clear already, our bartender Becky was basically an angel sent from the heavens. She was hilarious, welcoming, and made a mean espresso martini among a number of other tasty cocktails. She really made our night, and served as a prime example of how a little bit of kindness, humor, and professionalism can make for an unforgettable dining experience. From now on we plan on being regulars at Tarantino’s.

Loved my food and wine. Salmon Vesuvio. Montepulciano wine, and coconut balls with berries and homemade chocolate sauce. Yummy!

Tarantino's is such a cozy Italian restaurant. We split the Buratta and requested they not add the prosciutto which tasted EXCELLENT😋The crispy Brussel sprouts were FANTASTIC! Always great with the Prosecco🥂Wonderful all around dining experience! Highly recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely delicious! The menu size is the right size to not be overwhelming. We split a pasta dish and the crispy brussel sprouts and it was the perfect combo. Kind and timely service with a great atmosphere. Everyone in our group loved their meal!

The interior is absolutely beautiful and what a menu! Unfortunately I didn’t get to try their food as it was after closing but they have a delicious cocktail menu and amazing selection of wines! The perfect spot for date night or just to have a meal/drink with friends/family! The perfect ambience and the candlelit tables are a perfect touch!

HALF PRICE WINE ON TUESDAYS Get the corn fried oysters and the FUSILLI and that will make you a certified happy boy or girl. PRO TIPS: You can add spinach and mushrooms to the fusilli at no cost You can take wine to go! A SENTENCE ON COVID: Waitress wear mask, patio open A SPECIAL SHOUTOUT Our waitress split up our check evenly. Never get that in Chicago ❤️❤️❤️

Great food and great atmosphere. They have some students working there that are not really well trained but that’s the way things are today.

The arugula salad was excellent. Very lightly dressed. The pasta is big enough to split and we had the farfalle with chicken it was wonderful. It's very lightly spiced but very flavorful.

Great restaurant with fantastic wine and pasta options! The atmosphere is very intimate and great for most settings! It’s definitely a bit more expensive but I’d say it’s worth it. Overall, I would recommend!

We were looking for a patio and walked in with no particular expectations. The staff was very attentive without being overbearing, the food, cocktails, and wine were all good. As entrees, we got the salmon with mustard seeds and the fusilli in a spicy tomato cream sauce. The salmon was good- not spectacular but good. The fusilli is the main reason I’m writing a review. The sauce was amazing. It had enough garlic that you could actually taste it; the sausage added flavor without being overwhelming (and didn’t have the burnt flavor sausage often does). It was fantastic.

Very noisy but a rousing ambiance, family oriented, decent Italian fare, and friendly service. They added the 3 percent credit card service fee to our bill, which I didn't like, but I get it.

Incredible service food and drinks. Stopped on a random night with no reservations. Family owned place - a rarity in the area. Every drink, appetizer and entree was delicious.
