I recently had the pleasure of visiting London House Rooftop Restaurant and Bar, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The panoramic views from the rooftop were absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop that elevated the entire dining experience.
The menu boasted an impressive array of dishes, and I couldn’t resist trying the shrimp, chicken wings, and chicken burger. Each bite was a burst of flavor, showcasing the chef’s culinary expertise. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, making every dish a delightful journey for the taste buds.
The highlight of my visit, however, was not just the delectable food but also the exceptional service. The servers went above and beyond, making the entire dining experience memorable. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added a personal touch, turning a meal into a truly enjoyable event.
For those who enjoy a good drink, the bar did not disappoint. The beverage selection was diverse, and the skilled bartenders crafted drinks that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or prefer a classic option, the bar at London House has something for everyone.
In conclusion, London House Rooftop Restaurant and Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a gastronomic adventure with a breathtaking view. The combination of exceptional food, friendly service, and a stunning setting makes it a standout destination in the heart of the city.
Great and amazing rooftop! The view is incredible, you can see the perfect sunset … all team than work from the beginning (host) until servers really know how care the customers!! The cocktails 🍹 so good and the food delicious… We want come back soon
I highly recommend this cool roof-top restaurant/bar if you’re visiting Chicago - it has such an amazing view of the city, especially at night!
We ordered light food items and they did not disappoint- the vegan taco and the loaded fries were delicious! My partner and I agreed that the fries were some of the best ones we’ve ever had - especially dipping them into the black garlic sauce (not chocolate by the way).
We had custom made mock tails recommended by our lovely server - Jeanne was accommodating, kind, and funny, she often checked in with us and we appreciated how nice she was! Added to our overall experience!
Very chic venue, the roof top has a very nice very of Chicago river and Lake Michigan. The rooftop was a bit too cold to sit down for lunch and they didn’t have heater so sat indoor. We had a nice cozy seat by the fire place. The menu has a mix of international cuisine Mexican, Korean, American Mediterranean, I thought they were good as light meal or snack with drinks. The service was good and the ambiance was nice.
The rooftop was a nice place to stop and grab a drink and enjoy the views. The views were outstanding by the way and worth the price of the drink alone. The views of the river are very much as advertised plus you at up in the sky with the skyscrapers. The drink was a Smokey mescal and it is my new favorite. I’d say try that one or another signature drink and enjoy the view. Come during the day time on a week for less of a crowd. Naturally a place like this will be busy at all peak times so use common sense when trying to come here and don’t hold their popularity against them.
Reservation is necessary if you'd like to have a table here. It's always packed! The rooftop has a fantastic view of the city. You'll get to enjoy the marvelous Chicago Skyline, and the sunset here. The food was mouth watering, drinks was delicious, and the service was great. Everything was Instagrammable! We really enjoyed our time here. We will definitely come back.
Looking for a nice chill rooftop vibe with a view, this is it. The music was perfect and the views were too. I would recommend arriving early enough to grab a seat though if your going to ear dinner make reservations. You views are beautiful
We were running last as usual my best friend and I. We made Reservations for 3:15 and ended up making it there by 3:50 however we still was seated right away. loved that .. they do give the waiter a ticket with a time on it for I think 2hours you have. but the food and drinks came out in a Reasonable time. The food was really good very flavorful. And wasn't that expensive to my surprise. This was my second time coming here and I definitely will come back
My first time at LH Rooftop and I'll definitely be back! Hands down The. Best. French fries I've EVER had, the Truffle fries were amazing! A great sharable item but I could've eaten the whole bowl, they were that good! My scallops we're cooked perfectly and beautifully presented! The river view is spectacular from the rooftop. It made me feel like I was on vacation, even though it was just a day trip. London House will be a regular stop for me from now on!
To be very, very clear - the main draw of this restaurant is the rooftop dining experience. They have a lower level with a bar that was pretty uncrowded when we went (and where we dined) because the rooftop is perpetually booked and filled, even with people just taking pictures and not even dining. But let's talk about the restaurant itself - the service was phenomenal and the food is pretty good depending on what you get. We tried the Loco Moco, the scallops, crab rangoon, Thai Ribs, and their burger.
Their Loco Moco if I am gonna be honest really sucked. I've had many Loco Mocos from Maui and this doesn't even come close - its WAY too salty and overly greasy. You will likely get heartburn from this. Their Thai Ribs and Scallops on the other hand is incredible - the meat was tender on the ribs and the garnishes were aesthetically pleasing and actually added well to the flavor. Fries and rangoons were good, and burger was decent.
Our seating experience was quiet because... well frankly very few people sat in the lower level that doesn't have the outside view. Our chairs were uncomfortable and the first table we sat at had a very laughably small table so we requested to change tables. Service was great though, waitresses were on it.
We stopped by the rooftop and WOW it is absolutely gorgeous. Kind of a shame though that it has about less than 10 seats. Good luck getting a reservation for the rooftop, and if you dine on the roof I will warn you that it may be an annoying experience. There were LOTS and I mean LOTS of people up there and it was kind of loud. The view is absolutely beautiful but its super cramped and there is just way too many people around. I understand its a tourist trap but with how hard it is to get a seat up there and how expensive the food is compared to the quality I would rate it more 3.5/5 stars instead of 4.
Great food, more reasonable prices than I thought. Booked reservation for indoors even though staying at hotel, then ended up outdoors at sunset as asked when got there early for drink. When starts to get busy, they will start line to get up. Would go back.

The decoration of the place is outstanding.
Everything is clean and very organized.
The food was incredible. I ordered ~Chicken Skewer~ and I enjoyed it. It was mouthwatering, as you can see in the picture. The chicken was juicy, and the sauce very tasty. 100% satisfied.
The staff is very kind. And yes!!! The view from the rooftop is amazing.
