Celebrating my friends birthday at Daisies was perfect. The staff is so incredibly friendly as well as passionate about the menu. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of wine. The flavor profiles in every dish had such complexity, I was wowwed with every bite. The food was flavorful and fresh. Can't wait to go back!
Went for Brunch. Great menu, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and great ambience. Can’t wait to go back for both Brunch and Dinner. Will be a regular at this place
My wife and I had an amazing dinner there last night , everything was delicious , great staff that really cares , owner came over to check on us twice !!! the craft drinks were top notch , highly highly recommend
The staff were all extremely friendly and passionate about the restaurant. The food was delicious, innovative and full of flavor. Hats off to the Chef! I highly recommend Daisies, and look forward to coming back!!
The food, drinks and service were all phenomenal! We started with the mushrooms and cheese curds which were so flavorful. I had the tortellini and it was just melt in your mouth delicious. The honey cocktail was very refreshing and I liked it so much I had 3.
Had a wonderful meal last night! The service, atmosphere, food, drinks -- all delicious! We had the perch special, breaded in rice crispies -- delicious -- served with fresh corn (their version of fish and chips), and we had several fantastic pasta dishes and the cheese curd and mushroom appetizer. We also enjoyed the creative cocktails and great wine. We can't wait to go back again!

Over the weekend I had a party at Daisies to celebrate my graduation. It was so easy to work with them to plan everything. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful and the food was AMAZING!! And to top it all off the restaurant space and patio were gorgeous and perfect for entertaining all my friends and family! I can't wait to come back!!
It's about time Logan Square got a restaurant that gets food right. Daisies is amazing. The food is simple but the taste is powerful. I love the story and the family focus of Daisies. Phenomenal food. Nice atmosphere and great staff. We will definitely be back!
Truly phenomenal cuisine, cocktails and service. The staff was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable & unpretentious.
My husband and I savored the refreshing & balanced cocktails. The gnocchi with morels was utterly stunning. Definitely the best pasta that I have ever had. This restaurant is also extremely vegetarian friendly.
I will be eagerly counting the time until we can make a return trip.
Food was amazing! My favorite pasta was made of beets and had the most beautiful rich color almost too pretty to eat! Staff was super great! They made me a spritzer since I can't drink right now. We ordered A LOT! everything was stellar! Cute patio too.
Daisies is such a cute place and the food was amazing!!!!! From starters to dessert I wouldn't change a thing.
Can't wait to get back here next Friday 3/16. Really bummed that the truffle ravioli is no longer on the menu. Although everything I've had here has been amazing, It was my FAVORITE.
The food was truly astonishing, amazing staff and chef Joe Frillman is a BEAST in the kitchen!
Pasta = amazing! Drinks = fantastic! Kahlua cake = delicious! Wonderful service as well! Highly recommend :)
My wife and I had date night at daisies, being recommended by family who have eaten here before. daisies menu tastes are as fresh as the local farms that supply their produce. The butternut salad was phenomenal! The pierogi stuffed with littleneck clams made me a little homesick for New England. My wife's tortellini with pork sausage is a great Chicago dish. Cocktails and menu change with the seasons to utilize the local flavors at their peak. We are looking forward to our next visit to daisies.
Overall Daisies is a solid restaurant that is worth checking out. The vibe trends to a higher-end cafe and non-pretentious casual look. The price point does not reflect the ambiance.
We had the onion dip with homemade chips (delicious dip with thick ridge chips that were a bit salty) and the brussel sprout salad which were both delicious. 8/10
We shared a gnocchi pasta which was quite flavorful though a little on the softer side of classic gnocchi. The flavor profile definitely blended between savory and herbaceous. 8/10
The highlight dish? It definitely was the pork collar. That was AMAZING. Tender, flavorful and paired well with the puree. 10/10
Overall for the table of two we spent +$200.
BE AWARE a 25% service charge is included in the bill, though this is noted on the website and menu.
Daisies was a really great experience and I'll definitely be back. I'd also say that it's a great place to bring friends and family who are visiting Chicago. The service was phenomenal, and I really like the atmosphere in the new location. The food was outstanding — I would highly recommend the fritto misto, the agnolotti pasta (delicious beet flavor without being overpowering) and the pork collar (super tender, seasoned pork paired with delicious apple bites). Highly recommended!
Loved the little treats at the end!
All the flavors we had all night were unusual and interesting. The fermented tomato rigatoni tasted almost like a tomato kimchi jam.
Generous portions and overall good time.
Listen, the hype is real -- this is the best restaurant in Chicago for a reason. The way they prepare vegetables is extraordinary, some of the best pasta I've ever had. A very cozy, not fussy, fine-dining experience. 🔥
A traveler's five-stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had the most amazing experience here last night and found my new favorite restaurant in Chicago! So very deserving of their recent Michelin Green Star. We got there about an hour before our reservation and decided to sit at the bar until our table was ready, and the bartenders were so friendly and nice with helping us pick drinks. I ordered the Aperol spritz from the NA section and the orange peel and grapefruit made the drink taste so much like an alcoholic spritz that I asked the bartender to confirm there wasn't any alcohol in it! The ambience inside was lovely for a nice dining experience–not too loud nor quiet, and we were pleasantly surprised with the house music playing in the background (we love house lol).
When we sat down at our table, the food and service was excellent. We ordered the onion dip with ruffles and the focaccia with tripe as appetizers and then got the raviolo carbonara and the black truffle and chicken skin ravioli to share. Everything was amazing, and you can really tell Daisies puts an enormous amount of care into sourcing the best ingredients with the way everything tasted. I especially loved the tripe, which was the most amazing texture that wasn't too chewy or soft! The ravioli had the best balance of flavors and we really liked the hints of mustard seeds. The raviolo was also excellent and the lemon zest on top was a really nice touch! We also got the apple cider donut cake for dessert (no pic since we just dug in) which tasted so great and not too sweet.
The service throughout the meal was so great, and we really felt so taken care of. Our server noticed that we were a little cold sitting by the window and so asked if we would like tea, which was a nice gesture and very much appreciated!
In conclusion, I had such a great time at Daisies last night and can't wait to go back to try more of the dishes! Thank you, Daisies! :)
Absolutely get the shaved brussels sprout appetizer, refreshing and delicious. Also had the onion dip with house made ruffles as I’m a fan when restaurants do their take on common food items. Worth it if you’re into that as well.
Pierogi with mussels and garlic is A+.
Online reservations through Tock requires a $10 deposit/pp. This gets taken off from that final bill. Refundable if cancelled or changed within 3 days of reservation date.
Mandatory 25% service charge, but the service was great so 🤷🏻♂️
New location is open, airy, comfortable, and elegant while not being intimidating. We all got different pastas which were exceptional, and accommodating for vegetarian and vegan diets. The watermelon basil refresher is an excellent nonalcoholic cocktail. Good location for a date night as well as night out with friends if you want a food and service focused experience
Great place and ambience! We had a great time. Food was amazing, beyond of what we were expecting…. Ordered different things to share. Started with beef tongue and shishito peppers, loved it!! Papardelle with mushrooms ragú was perfect for the season, fresh and earthy one of my favorites! Agnolotti were perfect, with a perfect balance of flavors and sooo delicate! spaghetti alla chitarra lacked a little bit of flavor. Everything else was good. And the cocktails… specially the mushroom margarita…: to die for! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Pasta is divine. Plenty of creative dishes, but at times, the sauces were too rich. Definitely recommend the pork dish though: it was mindblowingly tender.
Daisies lived up to its hype! I dined solo and it was hard to narrow the options down. The portions are generous. I started with the chips and onion dip as well as the potted carrots. The chips/dip are a must! Such a simple, classic recipe well-executed. I debated between the potted carrots and the leeks but ultimately went with the carrots since they seem to be somewhat of a signature dish for Daisies. The gnocco was pillowy and light. The potted carrots were just ok for me. While they were unique, I expected a bit more flavor out of them. I took my server’s recommendation for the rigatoni. The fermented tomato sauce and smoky nduja paired well and the homemade pasta was ::chef’s kiss:: As a solo diner, I only ate half of everything I ordered and took the rest home. Service matched the excellence of the food. I look forward to my next visit!
Without a doubt the best pasta in Chicago. And one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Bravo to all at Daisies!

My husband and I went for the first time in early October. I LOVE the oatmilk latte on tap. I totally enjoyed the food. My husband had the BLT, it was good! I don’t even like the taste of bone marrow, but what they did with this sandwich is magical. He enjoyed the fried pickles. I had the beef n’cheddar!! So good. I like their pastries too! Nice ambience and staff.
I also came back last Sunday with my sister. I had the oatmilk latte again and the brownie. So good. My sister had a drink too, but I cannot remember what she got. She liked her drink though.
Daisies is a great experience, the food is so so tasty and the service was so smooth and perfect. We had a table overlooking the pasta making table in the back which was an experience in itself. Amazing that they can run such a big place like a clockwork.
The highlight of dinner at Daisies is definitely the staff. Good menu suggestions and very personable. The beet agnolotti was good with a balanced sweetness. The squash and sweet corn pasta was over salted and had a lot of heartiness that didn’t work well during the summer season. Definitely won’t be a regular stop for us but wasn’t a disappointment either. 3.6/5
A little piece of Italy 🇮🇹 in Chicago. This pasta was just delicious. Every single dish was very well executed and beyond delicious.
This place is just ok. The portions are pretty good now, and the space is lovely. It was really uncomfortable getting a reservation - the person I asked about it at the front door was curt about it, and the person on the phone was rude. You can’t modify your rez online and they make you pay a deposit per person. The food was good, but it’s not exceptional. We liked the pastas and the drinks, but not the protein (don’t order salmon collars). We also over ordered and it would have been nice to have been advised on that. They did give me a little birthday cake - not yummy but a sweet gesture. Automatic 25% tip.
Celebrated Fathers Day with wife and kids. Lot of vegan and vegetarian options and kid friendly options. Cannot go wrong with the menu and our waitress was so nice with the suggestions. The plate sizing was perfect and delicious.
Honestly the best we've had in a while.
The bar staff are well trained. The serving staff is educated and kind. The food is extremely well executed and not over priced - the quality is above that of many.
Bottle or wine, appetizer, entree, cocktail and dessert, literally everything was perfect.
Worth a trip to go to this highly creative eatery. Went for lunch and wanted to just try absolutely everything on the menu. Slight knock on the counter service idea for lunch, but the staff does a great job with it and are super friendly!
