My fiancé and I stopped in for dinner tonight. Great looking place. She had the burger and loved it, I had the combo platter. The ribs were so-so, the pulled pork was good, and the chicken had a great smoke in it. That hot link though was one of the best I've had. We had Ralph as our server and he was great, a really nice dude. I had the kitchen sink and the annexation and they were very good. I can't wait to try the parallel I got in the growler. Will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I have been going here for a few years now, as good friends just live down the street from it, but recently we've become more frequent flyers and have introduced this amazing place to a bunch of our friends and family. We've visited the last three weekends: once with another couple, then with my wife's parents, and finally with a party of 14 last night. Each time we ordered food, had their wonderful craft beer, and had their delightful cocktails. For every single group, everyone was blown away on all levels. The ambiance is phenomenal with innovative décor and local art. The high wood ceiling is beautiful and every way you turn, there is something both beautiful and interesting to look at. Always bustling, but incredibly diverse in age and race. SO refreshing considering there are way too many breweries that are mono-cultural. The beer is some of the best we've ever had. Innovative, tasty, and easily the best version of whatever style it's in. From IPA's and DIPA's to NEIPA's, from porters to stouts to imperial stouts, from goses to sours, and even guest ales like meads from Wild Blossom and great craft beer from other local places, they do things right. Having a full bar and expert mixologists helps a ton for our friends that like variety. Best Manhattans and Old Fashioned our parties have ever had (and they've sampled a lot from Chicagoand). The food. OMG THE FOOD!!! Southwest Eggrolls that explode in your mouth, Gumbo that is just the right amount of spicy and flavorful, burgers and pastrami sandwiches that will keep you coming back, sweet potato fries not done better than anywhere else except for the deep south, crazy good salads, and great dessert choices. Accommodating to kids as well (I have a few elementary and middle school students where this is their favorite place to go). And the STAFF! What beautiful people that hustle, accommodate, and show such grace and patience they deserve medals every night! Even with our party of 14 last night, everyone was served well and on time, no matter how crazy our tastes got. They are quite easily the best in the business. Parking is plentiful and free to boot! I could not make a higher recommendation for this beautiful place nestled in the Beverly neighborhood!

My husband and I went here with our friends tonight (who have been before and said we should try it). I’m not a big craft beer drinker (aka “Please bring me your finest Pilsner...”) and our server, Ashley, was so helpful. She guessed what I would enjoy and helped me through the beer selections. (She was so patient and positive!) The owner visited our table and also helped me navigate my choices. They also have other drink options which is helpful for a couple like my husband and me. (He has actually learned to enjoy good beer, unlike me and my unrefined palette...) The food was good, the service was great, and it’s a fun place to try if you haven’t been there before.

So I went to Horse Thief Hallow for my nieces birthday and it’s Friday so no meat and I can’t have gluten so I ordered the salmon which I usually don’t care for but their salmon was so delicious, I highly recommend it

First visit here went great. My girlfriend and i had burgers, a flight of some of their beer selections, and a side order of Mac n cheese. Burgers tasted very good, best sweet potato fries I’ve had so far. Mac n cheese for me was just Ok but my girlfriend really loved it. The best part: the BEER. Good selection, they had live music when we walked in on Saturday evening. Their staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere for both younger crowd and families. They have their own parking lot plus plenty of street parking also. At the end, the check I thought would be in the $50+ range but it actually came out to $38 😁 i thought it was a great price for the food, beer, and experience. Looking forward to visit again for brunch 😁

Food is so awesome here. And staff is always friendly and attentive. I'd forgetten how good the beer is. I usually order wine, but hubby and I got a beer flight on Friday and it reminded me just how good their beers really are. The Hefewestern is fantastic. Tastes like banana and cloves :-)

Never disappointed with their food and beverages....service was VERY friendly, knowledgeable and given that only one waitress was there when we went the last time...efficient. Highly recommend to alcoholic connoisseurs, beer snobs and foodies....

This place is great and the food is superb. The best burger and sweet potato fries I've ever had - My burger was cooked exactly how I ordered , everything was so fresh and the sweet potato fries were out of this world. In fact, I plan to order double next time. The staff is very friendly and most accommodating.

Out of the gate Colleen was a 5-star server start to finish. Her enthusiasm was genuine and welcoming, so informative about beers / menu. With one dinner in town, landing halfway from DC to AZ, Horse Thief Hallow was our #1 choice. A choice we did not regret. Solid beers, Began with the Soul Train (Sour). 5-stars again. Don’t let the color fool you, it is a pucker sour as intended. Annexation and Squeeze box also delicious, in that order. Restaurant SUPER clean. Pulled pork lean, not too spicy, the Mac n’ cheese is incredible, with panko crumbs under a broiler – perfectly crispy and served in cool miniature cast iron. Grass fed burger, wonderful. Half rack of baby backs, meat fell off the bone, prepared wonderfully. When returning to this area, Horse Thief Hallow Brewing will be my go-to, thank you guys & gals.

Great tasting food, excellent service! Had the Dunkel stein of the house brewed beer & the Sicilianaire with a side salad. The other party had the pulled pork sandwich. & the cheese pierogi was amazing! (Didn't get a pic of that, it disappeared so fast)

Award winning beers and amazing food. Big old south Chicago warehouse space, converted magically into a neat craft brewery and eatery. Usually 10 beers on tap, with a wide variety of styles, each represented well. We were especially impressed with the masterfully subtle Green Beret pistachio and Space Face Kolsch. Food is fast, and good, especially the brunch items, and the visit isn't complete without the crispy goodness of hot fresh beignets.

We recently had our company Christmas party at Horse Thief, as we have had in the past 3 years, the food and service was outstanding! The Green Beret brew was fabulous as well as the Cobb Salad. Beautifully decorated and loved the atmosphere! Check it out for the New Year!

We went on a limb for restaurant week and I fell in love with Cajun food. Usually I’m picky about salads, but the salad we had here changed my mind forever. The standouts definitely were the Shrimp and grits and the beignets almost killed me because they were so good. The mixed drinks also packed quite a punch!

Nice, friendly, inviting staff and atmosphere. This was my first visit, but not my last. I took my mother here for lunch today. The mural on the exterior wall of the parking lot, as well as the painting on the asphalt was very impressive! My mother had the Grass-fed burger and I had the Turkey burger. Both burgers were delicious--we ate it all. I recommend trying their cocktail called "The Ambassador". It's a refreshing drink with gin, lemon, honey, and all-spice.

Decided to do the brew trail tour, this was our first stop and what a great stop it was. Great atmosphere friendly staff and great beer, we decided to try an appetizer and choose the pretzels and those were delicious. We definitely want to go back and try some of the food as it all looked delicious. Decent prices. Cant wait to go back.

The chicken wings were huge, tasty, but needed to be seasoned. The gumbo is delicious. The buffalo shrimp appetizer is delicious. The coleslaw needed more season, salt, and sugar. The burnt ends beef brisket was okay. The fries were good. The atmosphere is great.

I’ve been to this place many times and I love it. Went on a Saturday for dinner. I had the venison burger and Mac & cheese. We got our order pretty fast. I recommend ‘kitchen sink’. The dinning area is pretty big and is kid friendly. I noticed a new patio on the side where the parking lot used to be. Looked pretty nice but it was closed due to rain.
