Yesterday was my first visit here and it was amazing. I don’t know why it took me this long to go there. Coffee drinks and food were very good. Outstanding service, probably the best I’ve had in the neighborhood. By far my favorite place in Andersonville now. I will be back for the gluten free desserts too. Go! No go right now.

The food was amazing- it's a must-try for vegans. They can make most things on the menu completely vegan. I loved the coffee shop atmosphere and the service was excellent too. Next time I want to try one of the delicious looking desserts!

I used to walk here all the time from my apartment when I lived in Uptown from 2007-2009. It was such a nice place to just go in, sit down, relax and enjoy a light meal and coffee. Absolutely loved the nachos! And I loved sitting by the bookshelves so I could take a look at the various travel books while enjoying my meal. Never had a bad experience here, nor any bad foods/drinks. Everything was wonderful. The waitress I had one time noticed I was looking under the weather, and in fact I was not feeling well that day, so she suggested a wonderful drink (the name escapes me at this time) that helps with feeling physically better. Just goes to show you how caring and knowledgeable the staff is. Now that I've moved back to the East Coast, Kopi is the one place in Chicago I miss the most!

Went there to relax, read a bit, and enjoy a coffee and pastry. Ended up getting a Mexican latte at the friendly server's recommendation and a slice of pie. The whole experience was quite pleasant and I'll definitely go again to try the various liquors they also serve.

This is my favorite place in Andersonville! Weather it's for lunch or a quick cup of coffee or even a piece of that fabulous carrot cake, this is my go to place. Try the Mexican hot chocolate, it's spectacular !

A unique diner! It’s a new world once you enter the door. The sitting on the floor area in the front is such an cute idea, it also puts the people sitting there in the window somehow and I love that! Back of the diner is a full shop with handmade clothes, silver jewelry, scarves, imported souvenirs, incense, candles… I’m telling you it’s another world. I tried a cold brew coffee and a gluten free & vegan brownie they were both very quality. I will be coming back.

Love this place...what can I say. It's a beautiful, mellow cafe in the heart of Andersonville. My favorite drink is the Viennese cafe served with a warmed baguette with extra butter. The little store at the back, remains charming and always a delight when visiting. Such a great cafe...

We visited Kopi cafe in Andersonville for brunch after a busy work weekend, I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! As a group with a few vegetarians and vegans, we always look for delicious alternative spots, and Kopi did not disappoint. The eclectic experience began right away, with the option for outdoor dining, as well as the tea room up front for people watching. Inside, the dining room is absolutely adorable, with a cozy atmosphere and plenty of pastry options to choose from. What I loved most about Kopi, though, was the attention to detail and support of local vendors. The handmade products on display throughout the cafe were not only cute, but also a testament to the community spirit that makes Andersonville such a great neighborhood. Overall, I highly recommend Kopi cafe for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or just looking for something new, you're sure to find something you love at this gem of a cafe.

If you're looking for a warm, relaxing environment, you'll love it here. I've yet to try their East Asian style elevated seating, but it looks tantalizing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, the worst thing you'll find is only middling. For any meal of the day you'll be more than satisfied.

Loved the vibe of this cafe. Varieties of coffee and teas. Falafel plate was fine. There are soft cushions for floor seating arrangement. The place can be a little clean. There are table and chairs as well. Warm and welcoming service.

I always try to get something different when I come here and always enjoy everything I get. This is one of my go to spots to bring people who are visiting, especially folks with allergies or food restrictions. There’s also lots of interesting things to look at and trinkets to interest folks from out of town. Staff is always welcoming and allow you to take your time.

First timer here. It was super crowded on a Saturday evening, but the hostess was able to get us a table in like 10 mins. We checked out their small shop area while waiting. As far as food goes, we had the Mexican Latte and Carrot cake. It was so yum. Our server was very friendly as well. We did pay street parking outside.

Ok. I always forget to rate Kopi. I've been coming here for YEARS. One of my favorite lunch, brunch, coffee places. Always a SOLID choice that will never let you down. It's a feel good place that fills your heart. Warm food and amazing coffee. Cute shop and great customer service. Everyone should come in and try it at least once. (You'll come back. I'm sure of it)

I don’t think the short hipster guy with the glasses is there anymore because of the help wanted signs. We were greeted by a couple lovely gentlemen and seated in the patio. Food was amazing for the price point. The portions were just right. I do think they tweaked their menu portions. I always go for the carrot cake! I was introduced to this place because my love of carrot cake. It’s the best I’ve had in the city so far; 15 years and counting. I got the trout omelette, carrot cake, and Mexican latte.
