Doesn't happen to me often but this breakfast was awesome and deserved the 5 star. Arrived shortly after opening grabbed a table and were asked what we would like for drinks. Very polite waiter. Drinks were served and order placed. Didn't take long before we received our food. Presentation was nice. First bite of my omelette and I was like this really has a great flavor. Very impressed. Everything including the coffee was simply outstanding. Thanks you will be seeing me again.

The best Eggs Benedict I have Ever eaten. Period. Their side spuds are also very good. Our dining partner liked her French toast, but was just " ok " imho... too "wet" and a weird olive oil taste to it. But those Eggs Benedict were totally worth the trip from the hinterlands (of the great Northwest Side). They use prosciutto instead of ham or Canadian bacon, and it boosts this dish to another level.. the Hollandaise sauce, instead of tarragon , gets an interesting dose of chives. Just perfect. Great potatoes, great coffee, and really nice service to top it all off. Well be baaack!

Hands down one of the best breakfast restaurants in the city! I've been coming here for over 5 years and the service is phenomenal. There is not a single item on the menu that would disappoint. Thank you Toast. Still love my blueberry pancakes best!

This place has DELICIOUS eggs benedict. Especially the crab Benedict with the lemon hollandaise, it was light but filling and tasted so fresh and incredible. I also think this place is byob, we didn't know that when we went but it would have been even cooler if we had

Loved the back deck, did not like the 35 minute wait. Service was friendly, accommodating and attentive. The meal was pretty good, but not really that different from other breakfast spots. I got a burger, topped with an egg over-medium, arugula and some other toppings, which I enjoyed, but I could have gone for more potatoes. We (6 of us) were all happy with our meals/time there, but it isn't high up on the list of spots we will be returning to.

Ate here during the winter, and the city serves as a very scenic backdrop to eat at. Had a served with some coffee. Presentation is nonassuming and unpretentious. Server was very nice. Coffee was great. Table was set with kraft paper, which is a first in places I've dined at. The veggie eggs benedict omit the tomato some other restaurants list as "california eggs benedict" or "eggs benedict florentine". While the eggs were good, the potatoes were slightly overcooked and had tasted a little bitter. The toast was also a bit tough. The bill was fair -- around $14 if I recall correctly. Would visit again.

Had breakfast this morning and it was really good. The service was quick, friendly and professional. Interesting menu selection and the food came hot. Sauce on the eggs Benedict was one of the best hollandaise I have had. Great job and a nice atmosphere.

I previously tried the Lincoln Park location years ago. Like the LP location, this location served extremely high quality food, very tasty, particularly for breakfast. The wait staff seemed attentive, and promptly came to your table when they were needed. They appeared to speak spanish as well, which is good for a large part of the population in Chicago. Try Toast, specifically the french toast. You wont be disappointed.

Score is 4.5. This is our go-to for when we want consistently good food in a nice environment. Service can be quirky but people can be quirky, so there's that. The coffee is pretty darn good, which is oddly hard to find in a breakfast place. The omelettes are great, I love the Lorraine. My husband loves the breakfast burritos. Go early for the quieter experience and better seating; especially if you like your privacy. (The tables are close together.)

Fantastic! My favorite breakfast / brunch spot in Chicago so far. Ambience is great. I love the natural light from the skylights. Large menu of options. Had an omelette. Food was amazing. Will be my go to from now on.
