Very nice owners! The food was all made from scratch, I had the arugula salad and added grilled chicken. It was fresh and the capers added a nice unusual flavor. Highly recommend!
I can't believe I passed this place up so many times, and didn't stop to try it before. Starting with the customer service, from the moment we walked in until we left, everyone was so pleasant and attentive! Super friendly and efficient! We ordered the rib and chicken combo, with Mac & cheese, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Also added a cheddar Jalapeno cornbread muffin and fried onion strings. Everything was phenomenal and cooked to perfection!!! Chicken was crispy and juicy, ribs were fall off the bone tender. So delicious and full of flavor! I'm excited to try the other items on their menu! Thanks Mother Clucker's!!!:)
This place is ridiculously good. Had the Brown Line burger.. now they’ll be my go-to spot. Service is great too. I was waiting outside (I’m a smoker) and the lady up front brought my food out to me which was nice. She was friendly and helpful from the jump too. Great spot.

I'd been wanting to go here for some months having seen others provide excellent reviews. They lived up to the expectation with a great plate of chicken and waffles (pictured), with a small portion of fruit. I selected the white meat plate, and the chicken was tender and flavorful, the waffles were lightly dusted with powdered sugar, to which I added syrup of course. The whole plate was excellent, along with the cup of coffee I ordered (along with a few free refills).
The dining area is relatively small, with a counter to order for takeout, or at your table if you're dining in. Our server was friendly, prompt and conscientious. When the check came, I was able to pay with my card, but I noticed that tips could not be added. When I asked they said it was not a problem if a tip was excluded, since they only take cash tips. I gladly left some cash that I had with me, but noted this for next time, although I don't feel like it would prevent me from coming here if I didn't have cash. Prices are reasonable and there is no tip built in, they just prefer to pay the whole tip to the server and not a percentage to a credit company; fair enough.
I am looking forward to going back sometime (soon) for the ribs!
Food was hot, fresh and tasty. My husband is from the south and it really resonated with him! The cornbreaded catfish was amazing. The broasted chicken was flavorful and crispy without it being spicy which I enjoyed!
Went there for the fried chicken sandwich. It's a huge sandwich with a lot of tender chicken meat breaded just right. There isn't a heat to it nor is it smeared in sauce. You could however, add sauces that best fit your taste. The slaw is fresh and compliments the chicken well. This place is BYOB (nice touch) and I'd recommend getting a bottle of your own to get a feel of the interiors. They've also got outdoor seating and plenty of parking space.
The owner is extremely nice, he grilled the onions for me and gave me free fries even though I told him i don't live around the area. The grilled chicken sandwich is excellent. I told the owner I was looking for a job and he said he'd call his friend who's in sales for me. Really great experience there. Very friendly food was excellent and quick.
I ordered the Asian Lettuce Wrap, thinking it was a wrap in some type of thin bread—wrong. It's actually some strips of chicken in lettuce.
I ate it anyway. The sauce is not good. I do not recommend this particular item. Also, it is messy to eat.
I wish I understood that it was not a wrap as in Sandwich, it should be called Asian Chicken Salad low calorie.
5-17-19 UPDATE
I returned to resturant and tried their Grilled Chicken Sandwich; it was awesome grilled breast meat. The combo is sandwich with fries or can order sandwich only.
The BBQ sauce for sandwich is good.

I have been hearing this place a lot and their chicken sandwich was a s good as they said it would be. I really love the taste of their chicken, Its the best chicken I had in the area. I would definitely bring my friends next time.
Fries and Chicken along with the service was very good. The biscuit which can double as a door stop ( try the cornbread instead) and the Mac and cheese (tasted box style) wouldn't be my choice. I would return but chose different sides but the Fries were perfect so maybe a double order.
I’ve been looking for my perfect broasted chicken spot, and I found it! The service is absolutely amazing and so is the food and the speed. Perfect place to have lunch after being at the DMV!
First time there. The staff was extremely friendly! The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious 😋 mashed patatoes were homemade. It was fresh!! Highly recommended 👌
I ordered for pick up a combo with chicken and shrimps, comes with 2 small sides, also the chicken with ribs (ribs not in picture) also ordered 8 pieces of chicken that come with 2 lg sizes and 4 biscuits(more the heavy type not flaky). So i had collar greens, mac and cheese, bake beans. All good, chicken was very moist and not super thick coated or super greasy. The guys sound tough on the phone but they were nice at pick up time.
I paid cash so i had 10%discount. Good option for fried chicken and more!!!
The broasted thighs were delicious as were the sides. The staff is friendly and professional. I will continue to make an effort to stop by when in the area. The menu has something for everyone. Deciding on what to have is the tough part.
Everything I order from here was great from the ribs to the po' boy shrimp sandwich and the New York strip sandwich. But my favorite is the chicken with mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese. The only thing is the biscuits and hush puppies are dry and need butter.
Tried Mother Cluckers for the first time today, and 5 stars doesn't do it justice. I had the Shrimp Po Boy, and it was fantastic. Crunchy jumbo shrimp, spicy remoulade, and the best mashed potatoes I've ever had (would give my grandmother a run for her money). My boyfriend had the Catfish Dinner, and he said it was some of the best catfish he'd ever had, perfectly battered and crispy. He had mac and cheese and loaded baked beans as his sides, and said beans were fantastic, but the mac and cheese was only ok and he'd swap it for mashed potatoes next time. The hush puppies are good too, with a nice jalapeno touch. The deep fried Twinkie was the perfect southern finish. Even though it's technically a counter joint, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful, giving recommendations, checking in, providing great service. You can tell they take great pride in the food they make. I will definitely be back soon!
