We happened to find this hidden treasure while I was right across the street getting a flat fixed.
Delightful lunchtime surprise. We walked in and were warmly greeted. The servers are attentive and kind, the food is exquisitely bursting with flavor, the decor is cozy and elegant. Definitely worth the drive for the abundant homemade flavors.
The restaurant is a hidden gem. if you know, you know. The food is AMAZING. The portions are very generous and considering is a very upscale place the price of the food is fair. Perfect for a date or a family dinner. ps if you love bread try the Vici bread.... trust us.
Approximately one week ago, I had the pleasure dining at this restaurant to celebrate my moms birthday. The dishes were exceptional, and wine selection was equally impressive.
We were unsure of what to order, but our experience was elevated by our attentive waiter who provided recommendations.
Towards the end of our meal, the waiter surprised us with complimentary cannolis in honor of my moms bday. They truly went beyond our expectations and would def eat there again.
Squid Ink Seafood pasta was delicious. So was the veal ravioli. The atmosphere laid back and casual. I recommend.
Good food. Slightly pricey. Good service.
I would come back.
Great place to seriously enjoy really good Italian food. It's kind of a small restaurant, but it has a comfortable feel. Very enjoyable.
Excellent. Haven’t been there in years and received a mailing with their specials. Decided to bring our friends and give them a try. Excellent.
This place is the absolute best. You cannot go wrong here. Literally every single thing on the menu is fantastic. The pork chops are life changing. The pasta is out of this world. The meatballs are easily the best in the city, and in fact, one of the best I've ever had, Italy included.
The service... They make you feel like you're coming home. This restaurant has a lot of heart and it really comes through in every interaction.
Additionally, they have a very nice outdoor seating area, a great bar, and clean bathrooms, which is always really nice.
Two brothers from Italy started the restaurant, and the recipe book has remained unchanged since then. They do specials, which are always fantastic, but the backbone of the menu is unchanged, old school, and out of this world... Hence the phenomenal meatballs.
Coming here, you really feel the love. From the food, to the service, everything is a cut above the rest. Stop by, try a meatball or whatever else you heart desires. You won't regret it.
Pictured below are the lobster ravioli (top) and the seafood in vodka sauce over black pasta (bottom, I forgot the name on the menu, it's a special)
Stop whatever you're doing.
Go here.
Eat some really good food.
You'll thank me.
A delicious place with a great past. We got to meet the owner and he was so sweet and super passionate about his restaurant. The kitchen was awesome to make a dish off menu and it was excellent!!
It was too noisy when we where there! But the lady has offered a table in a different area, food really great, you can taste the Italian flavors.. we were exploring a restaurant on our way home from our vacation trip, and this one is really good. 👌
It was a nice place to go out with friends. The food is delicious and the cocktails are great. Also, don't forget to try the Tiramisu..it is yummy!
The staff is friendly and the outdoor atmosphere is very nice.
Excellent place for drinks or dinner. They make the cannoli fresh while you wait. Highly recommend
The food and service were both really good on our Tuesday night visit. What a waste that the restaurant was so empty! I recommend Il Vicinato highly. The ricotta cheesecake drizzled with a raspberry syrup was almost the best I've ever had, and that is saying a great deal.
I went here with my family. A very nice setting. I had the Chicken Marsala! My brother had the black ink pasta (it was a special), which he loved. The staff were really nice and sweet.
