I didn't know it was a walkup type thing, and yesterday when I went, it was super cold, but it was worth the wait!
The steak tacos were great! The Al Pastor were very tasty too. I wish they had red salsa, as I'm not a big fan of tomatillos, but I must say, the green salsa was very good. Will be back! The hubby loved it too!
No indoor seating, but everything I had was portable and easy to eat on the street
I know this place is good because it's so popular. But I maybe arrived kinda late or something last night because the chicken burrito I got was not great. Was really dry tbh. My friends asked if I ordered a "sponge", which got big laffs in the group chat. I'm going to try again soon though.
Dine-in is only outdoor sitting, which today i sat out since you can't beat the nice weather today! Always great food when I come and they have pumpkin empanadas, which were very tasty. I also ordered tacos and a side of rice.
Favorite taco place! Succulent steak tacos, you can't have just one. It's authentic Mexican food. Elite corn salad is good, and they even have a ice-cream churro sandwich thing. Great idea. This place get busy and it's because they deliver good quality meats, and service. The menu is extensive and creative.
I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable for the area, plus everything is made from scratch. The sopes are my favorite here, the owner literally makes the maza fresh each morning. Very friendly staff, and delicious food. Mexican comforts right here on Broadway and Ridge.
Amazing! The al pastor tacos are to die for. The woman taking our order was so friendly and so welcoming. The place was packed when we went and she took care of everything so efficiently. There are only about 10 seats in the whole place, so I’d probably suggest carrying out if you go during peak hours! We will be back!
Patty, the owner, is always friendly and inviting! (She even offered us a little bowl for the puppy's water!) The new patio area was great for those looking to eat right away, as ET had closed their indoor dining during 2020.
The food is still amazing as ever though, with a few special favorite items to highlight being: Mangonada, Asada tacos and tostadas, al pastor tacos, chocoflan, some traditional green salsa that will have your mouth watering for more, and in-house made horchata!
This is my go-to place for Mexican food. I always get the Al-pastor torta. And they have my favorite fries too! I've been coming here for at least 4-5 years and the food never disappoints
The authentic carne asada seasoned and cooked to perfection creating the tacos, burritos, and my favorite item the chimichanga blended amongst the other fresh and flavored ingredients creates an experience from taste buds to the belly. Great staff and presentation of a gem inside the Edgewater neighborhood.
Love this neighborhood staple. Great tacos- my go to taco spot. The service is amazing. Must go spot.
This place is the real deal. A family business and local gem. They’ve got a window in the front to order food from and a wide variety of menu options. I can’t stop coming back. Try the choco flan!! (closed Sundays)
A walk up only option, unfortunately, but the food made up for it. Excellent sopes and birria. Not a huge fan of the queso but everything else was great.
Edgewater Tacos is where it is at! You can taste the love and magic in each bite. There isn’t anything on this menu I wouldn’t recommend. Even my babe appreciated being treated like a kween with a special pup treat. The food, the service and the all around vibe of Edgewater Tacos is something to definitely experience!
It's right off the street. You can pick it up and take it home, or sit outside and eat in the bustle of the street. I love that they have real desserts too. The mangonada was perfect and the tres leches was amazing. Just stumbled into this spot killing time before going to the edge theater down the street.
A+ without even thinking about it. Everything was fantastic. Their crunchy tacos were the perfect crispness without being greasy. The chicken tacos were generously filled. Super fresh onions and cilantro. The green salsa was flavorful and had a spicy bite to it. Lastly, get a churro. Impossibly fluffy and kissed with brown sugar and cinnamon. Will return
Very happy with this place!! Food was really good. Service was great and pretty quick!!
The owner told me they are hoping to expand with a small patio area which should be coming out soon!
