Staff was super chill and accommodating. Food was just so delicious! No menu (for weekend dinner), you need to mention your dietary restrictions and then just trust the chef! We had a great time.
Wonderful lunch! Everything was delicious, fresh and creative. If you have the opportunity, go to Arbor!
This place blew my mind. What a gem! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was perfection. The ambiance was romantic and modern. The service is impeccable. The food is to die for. Do yourself a favor and come here before everyone else does.
Sublime mystique! Dinning at Arbor is an experience, far beyond a fabulous meal. I regret not scribing a review months ago while every delicious details still danced in my head. I will not forget, however, the care & thoughtfulness of the service. Nor will I forget that I loved every aspect of our food and was particularly intrigued and delighted with the wine pairings. Chicago is a city of amazing food options. Arbor stands out in ways worth experiencing. It's different and entirely lovable.

This restaurant is very unique in so many ways, from its employees, customers and theme. It’s really clean and well put together.
The one thing I didn’t like about this restaurant is that it’s hidden inside a building that doesn’t inform potential customers of its specific location.
I arrived here confused as to whether the location was closed or moved.
My advice to this business as a customer, there should be a directory placed at the entrance of the building this restaurant is hidden in so that customers can find this place, ending all irritation when finally entering the restaurant.
Overall, the food and service is magnificent.
We held our organization's Winter Party at Arbor and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were terrific. They worked with us to create a menu that met our needs and didn't break the bank. We look forward to having more events at Arbor in the future.

I hosted an event for our entrepreneurs' organization at Arbor last night and it was wonderful! From the planning before the event with Meagan to the ambience, food and service, everything was amazing! The chef prepared a special menu for our group and everyone loved the food! The space was awesome and we received amazing feedback on everything! Thanks again Arbor, this is a must go!
Very unique dining experience that's personalized to you. Never disappointed when I'm there. You gotta make reservations ahead of time and they'll keep in touch with you via email. It's to customize the dining experience for you so well worth it. Drinks are great too. Nice place to go to celebrate special occasions or to impress a date. I wouldn't bring children or teenagers here though.
My date wasn't served shrimp or pork, so it was a little strange that we each got different dishes, though we shared and probably preferred what we were served, but still it was a little odd. Also, he was a little disappointed in his dessert dish - it was a savory cheese dish, full with a buttered piece of baguette - tasty, but not the ending he was hoping for with his dish. Luckily, I didn't mind sharing my blueberry cake. We loved the herbs from the garden as a little amuse bouche of sorts, and all the other flavor and texture combinations were great. Good portion, freshness, amplified the succulence of summer.
Such a creative and fun spot. I often like to go for breakfast or lunch (sometimes I'll even hang out to work and do both!). I sadly haven't done dinner yet, but the food is always tasty and they usually have specials in addition to their normal menu which are always spectacular. Their cocktails are actually quite unique, creative, and tasty as hell too (don't judge me for my occasional day drinking haha). Cool place.
Started with three courses plus wine pairing and got an amazing experience. Arbor is more than just food, it is fun, delicious, thoughtful, and has a great team welcoming you to each course. I left wanting to schedule my next reservation.
We were running nearly an hour late getting to the restaurant. We called to let them know and were told that they would "leave a light on for us". Brandon and Chad were very understanding and made us feel like we were dealing with loving family. We had 5 course meals with wine pairing. Each course was plated beautifully and made our tastebuds dance with joy. The wine that was paired with each course was spot on. Overall our evening landed to a beautiful memory. Tank you for giving us such a remarkable dining experience.
Go with an open mind let and the chef amaze you with the bi-weekly creations of their tasting menu, sourced from the restaurant's very own vegetable garden. The thoughtfulness and understanding behind the beverage pairings are simply unmatched. This is Omakase done right, so trust the chef and enjoy the broad flavor spectrum that spans cultures, ingredients, ideas, and inspiration from around the world.
Was in the area so I decided to try Arbor due to its local sourced menu. We split a sweet - baller crepes and savory - morning crush. The crepes were very good with plenty of Apple pieces and yogurt. I wanted a little more honey in them but the ingredients blended well. The morning crush had a very good biscuit crispy on outside and soft and moist on the inside. The Parmesan and truffle mayo made it creamy but I was wanting more crunch so a bit more bacon and crispy onion would have been nice. We tried two lattes the 7 spice and the vanilla, with fat free milk they were both smooth and creamy. Definitely worth the stop
Interesting dining experience here, did the three courses with wine pairing. Service was nice as well! Was slightly disappointed when the server was unable to tell us where one of the mushrooms came from at all, as the restaurant is supposed to be known for its 'garden to table' format.
If you are looking for something different and delicious, look no further. Dinner started out with a great old fashioned and didn't disappoint. The chef served our table two versions of every course, turning a 3 course meal into a 6 course experience.
Holy moly this place is UNBELIEVABLE - complete hidden gem. Run, don't walk, for some of the most delicious and interesting food of your life.
We went to the Arbor Project for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary dinner. The setup is not really for a dinner per se (it's typically a breakfast and lunch place, and is located in an office building), but if you want to have an incredibly special and Michelin-star-equivalent dinner, they can do that for you. I don't say the Michelin thing as hyperbole. This food is insane.
We found this spot because my brother is in the wine industry and has known the owners for a while, and they just opened this place up two months ago.
Why this place is a total hidden gem for foodies:
1) Owners. The owners are amazing and completely dedicated to the restaurant. They are amazing humans - just really good people - and incredibly talented to boot. We spoke to them after dinner and these guys have not taken a day off in over 3 months. They often sleep on the floor overnight. This restaurant is a pure labor of love and it completely shows in the insane quality of the food. Judging by how excellent everything was, this place will be growing and expanding overnight, so get in there while the original chefs are still doing all the cooking!
2) Drinks. While the dinner included some of the most delicious food flavors I have ever experienced, the cocktails before dinner were also incredible. One of the owners asked me what I usually drink. MARGARITAS! This chick does not order manhattans or old fashioneds. Tequila or bust. While I totally would have ordered one of their listed cocktails, which also sounded great, he told me he would "whip something up" and proceeded to serve me an off-the-cuff frozen margarita with some kind of blueberry shrub crack cocaine in it. It was the most unique, delicious margarita I have had in forever.
3) Fresh ingredients. They have their own urban garden behind the building, and we went on a tour beforehand and tasted everything off the vine. They also brought out their "inspiration box" which is a box they have in the kitchen of really interesting flavors and ingredients to pull out when making up new recipes.
4) Complete and total lack of douchbaggery. While all of Logan Square will absolutely love the vibe they have going on here, you're getting all of the amazing flavors and recipe obsession without a single hint of holier-than-thou hipster BS. These guys love food, not plaid shirts.
The dinner we had was insane. If you want something similar, I believe it's called the "Midwestern Omakase" online and is a meal of 3, 5, or 7 courses (ours was 7) ranging from $30-$130 per person.
1) Most amazing margaritas ever (plus my boyfriend got their "new fashioned", which was an old fashioned with a sweet frozen orange syrup at the bottom of the glass. He loved it).
2) Charcutrie, cheese and bread course: two types of homemade butter, 6 cheese (parmesan, cheddar, and goat varieties), quail eggs, pickled ramps (like onions - so good), prosciutto, salami, caremelized hops, and concord grapes.
3) Oysters three ways
4) White fish (sorry don't remember what type) served on top of fresh heirloom tomatoes, roasted corn, and roasted grape tomatoes in a tomato broth. I am not a fish fan, but everything else on this plate was licked dry. Others at the table fought for my fish.
5) Sauce tasting. They brought out a plate of lots of different sauces, honey, and reductions for us to try, many with flavors from their garden. We also each got a flight of vinegar pipettes to try all of their different vinegars (some in-house, some from elsewhere).
6) Russian duck dumplings with caramelized duck on top in jus. Wow. This was a favorite for many people at the table.
7) Beef and lamb slices served over savory mushroom/garlic/cream oatmeal with sauteed plum on the side. HOLY MOLY THIS WAS THE BEST THING EVER
8) Berry gelato, fresh biscuit and cup of anise-flavored milk with a gelatinous berry-type concoction on top. We were so full that we could barely eat the dessert!
Yeah. So, go there.
