The pizza here was decent, with a good texture on the thin pan crust selections. However, the Dags Special pizza seemed to lack some flavor in its toppings. On the bright side, the fried calamari appetizer was amazing. The service was friendly, and there's lot of seating available in the basement level.
No one was there so we were sat quickly. The food was also brought pretty quickly. The taste of the pizza was good needed more flavor but the crust was on point so crunchy and tasty. The carrot cake had a fridge-like taste but the strawberry ice cream tasted good. I wouldn't mind going back.
When I think about REAL Chicago Pizza (Tavern Style), D'Agostino's is what I'm referring to! Crispy thin, yet full of flavor while simultaneously having the hold to sustain all of the toppings without falling apart. Which by the way, I love D'Agostino's because they don't cheap out on toppings -- I had bites of pizza that had pepperoni stacked 3-4 slices high! Overall this is an amazing institution whether you want a quick pizza slice, or you're looking to watch a sports game, eat pizza, and drink some beers!
This is a great neighborhood spot with plenty of TVs always playing multiple sports. They have a really big menu and also this is the largest calzone I’ve ever seen..
Loved coming back to the old neighborhood for my favorite thin crust pepperoni. The bartender, the busser, the person who brought us out of pizza were all fantastic, but our server Cole wasn't interested in providing good service. Besides taking our order he was absent and never actually brought us the items we ordered first time, multiple requests required for anything. Bottom line, pizza was fantastic and that's why I'll always come back everytime I fly into Chicago.
Great neighborhood place with large portions. Good for families.
D'Agostino's Pizza and Pub in Wrigleyville isn't just a place to grab a bite; it's an experience steeped in the charm of Chicago's North Side. Located a stone's throw away from the iconic Wrigley Field, the ambiance captures the passionate spirit of local Cubs fans.
The welcoming atmosphere, with its cozy seating and memorabilia-clad walls. The dim lighting and rustic interiors offer a nostalgic journey reminiscent of classic Chicago pizzerias.
Coming to the food, D'Agostino's deep-dish pizza is the star of the show. Each slice is a generous layering of gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and a perfectly baked crust. The sauce, with its rich tomatoey goodness, complements the flavors beautifully. While pizza is the main attraction, don't miss out on their range of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes. The garlic knots, in particular, are a must-try.
Service at D'Agostino's is top-notch. The staff, with their friendly smiles and prompt service, make sure you feel at home.
Is a must-visit when in the area. Whether you're gearing up for a Cubs game or simply craving authentic Chicago-style pizza, this place delivers in spades.
Big menu, large portions and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
Really great pizza place. I've past by so many times and wanted to go and finally got a chance to, worth the wait. The staff was very nice and prompt, the restaurant was pretty quiet-it was a Saturday afternoon but the star was the pizza. Cracker thin crust, slightly sweet flavorful sauce, gooey cheese-chef's kiss. Hit the spot. Now that we have gone, we will make time to go again.
Wow! A thin crust pizza that doesn’t flop under the weight of a meat lovers topping is a Wow in my books! The pizza crust was so thin and crisp. The toppings so tasty with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. Onion rings are also the best kind- beer battered. The mexican hot chocolate- not your kids hot chocolate had the best kick of tequila and hot chocolate! One thing to note is you gotta eat your pizza hot. Once it gets colds it looses its pizzazz a bit. That first slice though……(hearts in eyes)
Outstanding service and while there was a problem with undercooked noodles in the lasagna, we were not charged for it and they were very apologetic. The meat filled ravioli with meat sauce was very very good and the flavor of the lasagna was outstanding.
This place has good charm. The slices were really nice, though due to how wide they are they were really cumbersome to handle. It did take me a while to eat as a result, but do not let this tidbit discourage you.
The benefit of this place is that it is just a three minute walk from the Southport L station.
We took a group of 40 5th grade students here after a field trip to tour Wrigley Field . The food and tables were ready when we arrived. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We greatly appreciate their patience and hospitality.
Thank you!!!
The thin crust pizza is among the best in the Chicagoland area! The sauce is a little sweet, and the cheese and crust are cooked to perfection. We ate outside, and they have a dog menu too for our puppy.
We went on a weekday, and it was totally chill. Solid pizza, classic Italian-American dishes, and some fancier options as well.
There was a happy hour, but I can't tremendously the details.
Came at the recommendation of family in the area and it did not disappoint. Despite being low on staff, they were quick and attentive with our group of five. Our thin crust pizza was delicious.
