Had a pepperoni pizza with fries and was fresh, so good. No problem here. Workers here are friendly and the environment inside is wonderful! Nice decorations. :)
There was a bit of a drop in the quality of the italian beef when the new owners took over. I'm not sure what they did, or if they switched up the recipe. But I could tell the difference. The pizza however has always stayed the same in my opinion. And that went on for a few months. And I was almost ready to give up on the place for good. However I kept going and I noticed that the quality of beef went back up again. They seem to have got it right. Still doesn't taste quite as good as it used to. But it is still pretty good. I remain a loyal customer and I really have no complaints. It's not the best beef in the city. But it's still very good. Johnny's may be better. But at Mr beef, the sandwiches are almost twice the size of Johnny's. And it's still better than the portillo's down the street on any day.
My friends had a discussion as to who had the best beef in the land. She insisted that it was Mr Beef, while I love another place that i still love. I will say this especially since it is getting harder and harder to find good beef these days and let me tell you, Portillos is NOT it. Mr Beef was amazing and I will go there every single time I happen to be in the area. I'm blessed to have 2 go to spots now depending on where I am. Lu Lu's on Ogden ave and Leavitt is the other spot in case you were curious. Keep up the great work Mr Beef, my friend gave me solid advice
This is the only pizza spot that I go to when I’m ordering a Hawaii pizza their Hawaii pizza is the best I’ve tried so far. But their pizza overall is so good no matter what toppings you get. Delicious!
Ordered the dipped Italian beef and fries. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. That Beef was phenomenal. The hot peppers were plentiful. The beef was moist and tasty. Next time I'll take pics; I couldn't wait to try it out. It's hard to find good beef. As far as beefs, this place has overtaken the number 2 spot on my list.
Best slice of sausage pizza in Chicago. I have other spots in the general area I prefer for beef sandwiches but this one is still a very good one that holds its own against those. Very reasonably priced.
Classic spot, inside and out. Delicious Italian beef, my favorite since Carm's beef (from back in the day).
Definitely going to use this place to order beef for our next gathering.
Now that I've tried this place a couple times i guess i can give it a decent review. Nothing is wrong with this place in particular, other than the fact that they have no real combo meals. If i remember correctly, the have about 3 items that you can get fries and a drink with. Everything else is a "build your own" combo thing which means you'll pay more here than the Wendy's and KFC that are on with side of this place. I say all of that to say that if you like quick selections, with ready-made options, then that might annoy you a little. Other than that, the food is pretty good, they are quick, and the staff is friendly enough.
I drive to Chicago from Dallas to visit family, and this is the first place I hit every time. Come hungry!!! Best for Beefs, and their pizza can go up against near anyone. So good. So full!!!!
Started delivering for Uber eats and decided to check this place out for myself! The restaurant appears to be short staffed but that doesn’t stop them from delivering delicious food in a quick manner all with a smile on their face. Typically you get the best deal if you order as a pick up from their website.
Service staff is friendly and attentive. Always greeting with a smile. Refreshing to have employees that actually like working. Always one of my favorite stops
Love this place I come here like 1ce a week 1 beef 1 slice of sausage. Every1 in there is super cool

Pizza slice was good and the Italian beefs are delicious. Ordered the gyro this time and the meat was fine but very little tzatziki sauce on the sandwich
