Marvin and Christiana were awesome. Quick with service and helping attitudes. Worth a trip to the Shedd just to enjoy their service. 5/5 and beyond. Appreciate you both!

The customer service that Marvin gave was fantastic! He has an amazing personality that truly brightens your day. He’s quick and efficient, however makes you feel like you’re the only customer in line.

Food was what you'd expect at a museum cafe, but the staff were so nice and provided such great customer service that I'm more than happy to recommend them to anyone visiting the Shedd Aquarium. Plenty of tables when we visited and the views were incredible, of course. It was nice to have a solid little cafe to make our visit better!

Cafe that has a magnificent view of the lake. The view itself is already worth spending some leisurely time there!🏖️🏝️

We went during the MLK free day. You had to purchase tickets ahead of time. This worked out extremely well. The Shedd was not overly crowded (obviously, due to covid). This made the experience much more enjoyable. You could actually stop and look at animals without people getting impatient.

My significant other and I stopped here for a break from all the beautiful scenery at Shedd Aquarium. This place was located in the Abbott Oceanarium on the Ground Level of the facility. We ordered at the counter. I ordered a Strawberry Fruit Smoothie, a Peanut Butter Cookie, and a Monster Energy (16 Fl. Oz.) drink. The prices were a bit steep here, but still tolerable for me. It didn’t take extremely long for our order. We sat down at a table they had. The smoothie was thick, fruity, and tasty. The flavor really popped. The cookie was a good size and just as tasty as the smoothie. I’m glad it was, because that thing was $3.99. The Monster drink was crisp and refreshing. It was just what I needed to continue my day at Shedd Aquarium! Overall, this was a convenient stop to recharge. If I ever go back to Shedd Aquarium, I might pop in here to try something new. Date of visit: 01/20/2023

The food is no more or less what one might expect from an entertainment venue, yet the variety is a pleasant surprise. An assortment of beverages includes just about anything one could think of, another refreshing difference. What sets this place and all of the Shedd in general, is the remarkably pleasant and helpful staff. When i ordered chicken strips for my son and i to share, the cook made sure we had a slightly larger portion we could split equally, even though we got a little extra food. At checkout when i was counting pennies, i was given a share cup for my son rather than pating for a jumbo drink he would not be drinking all of. A great continuation of the courtesy and friendliness of the Shedd experience. Keep your staff, they are worth far more than just the paychecks.

Food was decent. Over priced, but one expects that in places like Shedd. Our view from our table looking out over the lake was gourgous. Service was quick in spite of the long lines. Very clean and well lit

A typical cafe with Starbucks coffee. Some good pastries and the coffee is the standard prices. Great for snacks.
