Absolutely phenomenal service in combination with delicious food. Delicious ranch which usually keeps me coming back for more. Bloody Mary was ok, not the best I ever had but would order again. Definitely a neighborhood gem
The Derby Bar & Grill is one of my favorite stop bys when I'm in Chicago. Very friendly and personable staff and a great selection of beer.
Love this place. Great spot to catch a bulls/hawks game, and typically a pretty good crowd for those. Friendly wait staff, very engaging and attentive. The new menu has given the kitchen a second near on life. Tacos are great, as is the derby burger (huge!). Wash it down with the big onion beer of the month.
We had a really nice time here. The food was really good and they had specials that were ridiculously inexpensive. There were televisions everywhere and I was pleasantly surprised at the great music.
The wait staff was very friendly and the manager came by to check on us. We went during a weeknight and although the place was pretty full, it wasn't so loud we couldn't chat at our table.
I would recommend this for a nice night with the girls or even a casual family dinner.
Five stars for the staff, four stars for consistently good food. Highly recommend the Thursday night special deal--half price wine and salads/wraps. Reliable, casual neighborhood restaurant and bar that appeals to both college students and local residents and families.
Excellent place to go watch a game, or several for that matter. The food was not your typical bar fare. The beef rib was huge, tender and delicious. The pork on the nachos had an incredible smokey flavor. The staff was very friendly. With quite a few beers on tap and flat screens everywhere I will be headed back to Derby.
Nice place in the city on a Saturday afternoon. Excellent server, friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and was delish. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Higher than average bar noise with plenty of TVs for sports.

Upscale sports bar with decent food and good drink prices. Nothing terribly special; however, the design of the place allows to always have a good spot to sit and watch a game. The service was also above average.
Great local place that does a really nice job catering to families. Weekday specials are easy on the wallet and friendly staff.
Brunch is fantastic, but beware it is reeeeeally heavy. Best to get a mimosa with it.

Really a cool place. Great for watching a game or going out late. I've never really had a full meal, but the appetizers we got were great, especially the fish tacos. Highly recommended to anyone in the area.
Good spot, get the can-shot deal to max out your hang. The burgers are solid, any salad can be made into a wrap which is great. Bottomless mimosas on weekends, too!
Food is amazing, will definitely be coming back to try more of their brunch specials. Lots of beer choices. Came for March madness with a group of 5 and it was perfect.
Awesome!!!! The staff is always friendly no matter what time, they have a wide variety of drinks and the food is really good. I absolutely love thier buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and the turkey burgers!!
I used to! live in the Sheffield Neighborhood and lived down the street from Derby when it was first built. Five years later it is still around and is really integrated well with the neighborhood. Great place to socialize and catch a game. Good food!
