Stopped in for an impromptu Sunday brunch and wow, we were blown away! Fun, lively atmosphere for a Sunday brunch. They have tons of breakfast cocktails and a $20 bottomless mimosa deal. We opted for the bloody Mary’s — their habanero Tahin rim was great. Ordered a few things to share. The Breakfast tacos were awesome and flavorful and don’t miss their homemade Quesabirria. We will be coming back.

I've been here at least 7 times, usually for brunch. I sat at the bar and Karla provided exceptional service. The food is really good. I recommend bottomless mimosas and the quesabirria or breakfast burger. Overall, this is a good brunch to keep visiting. Photos below: 1. Birria tostada & quesabirria 2. Breakfast burger & potatoes 3. Outside view 4. Mimosa 5. Jello shot

We had brunch. My partner had the steak skillet, I had the chilaquiles, and our daughter had the Nutella French toast. The food was served right away, and everything was delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was warm. We will visit again

Great vibes and even better food! The brisket skillet and Guatemalan breakfast were excellent. Try the French Toast flight- it does not disappoint.

We happened upon this hip, modern Latin brunch spot. And boy, did we lucky out. There’s a feeling of family and local community here. And turns out it’s a popping brunch spot. The food and drinks were fantastic. You must try the Heaven Burger and the Steak Skillet. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. And those churros-yum!! You gotta give them a try!

Very much brunch bar vibes, incredibly friendly staff, delicious food, fun alcoholic beverages. My goodness… the tres leches French toast hit the spot! It is perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. Looking for something savory? The burrito and chilaquiles would be my go to.

One of the more prominent places in Chicago. This place is very popular on the weekends. I don't know why it's not as popular during the weekdays for dinner. Because their food is amazing. They take Mexican cuisine and elevated so high that I would argue with someone on this being one of the best Mexican restaurants in Chicago. When you're talking about brunch, you're talking about drinking and you're talking about eating and you're talking about having a good time with friends, this is the spot for you. A very casual low-key spot that is next to shopping and walking in Chicago's Goose Island area. There is one criticism I would give the restaurant itself. And that's your POS system. You're still writing down people's names and telling them to come back in an hour. This system I think is lost. You're not at the level of a startup restaurant. You should start taking people's phone numbers and texting them automatically when they're tables open up. It was a huge inconvenience for us to wait almost an hour and 25 minutes in person.

The food is FANTASTIC! Service is top notch. Portions are big. The quesabirrias are hands down the best I have ever tried. Mimosas are truly bottomless and delicious. I would definitively recommend.

Go go go! What are you waiting for? No need to make a reservation because this cute cozy colorful place is not located in a super busy area but not far from one so it’s not over crowded. The food was great, the drinks amazing and the dessert… omg! My taste buds have died and gone to heaven! Amazing! Truly 😋

Love this place! Food is delicious. Staff is so friendly and accommodating; it's a family establishment, and they make you feel like family when you're there. They decorate for holidays and have a fireplace which makes it so cozy. The queso fundido is my favorite!

Incredible meal. Elote fries and drinks were fantastic (loved the homemade Michelada mix). Tacos were some of the best I’ve had. Everything was so fresh. Homemade flan for dessert was 💯

Great place for brunch a group of friends , reunions and kids ! Food was so good and you had me at bottomless mimosas! Love the decor, the vibe was great will be coming back! Only downside is that it gets packed and fast! So you gotta really wake up early to get a seat since it’s a small joint , if you’re willing to wait then go for it ! It’s worth it

Seriously blown away by our brunch experience at Crīo. Showed up at noon on a Saturday and waited ~20 minutes for a table, they do not take reservations so arrive early for brunch to guarantee an immediate seat. We all ordered bottomless mimosas which were refilled frequently by various staff members, clearly a team centric service approach at Crīo. Even the owner was taking care of us! Basically every component of the menu is made in-house and the attention to detail is noticeable in all the meals. The chicken sandwich (pictured) and birria were a couple of our favorites. The restaurant’s vibe was lively, and the staff made us feel at home as well. Already looking forward to my next trip.
