Came here on a trip to Chinatown by a recommendation from a friend. The bakery is a typical Chinese bakery. In-store seating was unavailable but I just got pastries so it was okay. The curry beef puff was super delicious and flaky, despite my visit being later in the day. The pineapple buns were also delicious and the sesame balls were packed with red bean filling. I didn't get to try the egg tart (gobbled up by family) but they looked shiny and pretty as well. Everything was super cheap as well (got a ton of goods for just $10). Would come back on another visit!

You will love the variety. The egg tarts are popular however they are not as sweet as they are made in my culture but worth trying along with the pulled pork and ham and egg buns.

This place is awesome! Every penny is worthy!!! I never see this price in any place in the US! The size and quality of bread are perfect! So, please don’t complain that they only accept credit card! (If they start to accept credit card and increase the price of product, I don’t think the consumers win.) Just be prepared to bring your cash and enjoy it! Note: No dining in. Only for takeouts.

Not the best looking bakery or an inviting place to seat down and eat, but I am a fan of their works! It's a bakery and that's all that matters. The BBQ pork bun is unique, not the usual red and sweet ones, but it has chunkier meats and good flavors. Nice breads overall. Would drop by to purchase for family breakfast and snacks the next day

Cash only, but the egg tarts are so good~ the women working in the bakery section were so nice and they are so fast at mental math. 3 for $1 for the small tarts is a very good price. $1 for the large ones. It's also very busy and confusing when you have people waiting for seating and not doing take out but I like supporting small businesses.

Great bakery. The ladies were wicked friendly which is kind of unusual when you go to Chinese bakeries haha usually they are trying to rush you. Good prices as well.

Lovely family owned business with great Hong Kong style goodies ranging from traditional cafe diner dishes to delicious pastries and cakes. A must have dessert spot if you’re in Chinatown 😋

DELICIOUS baked goods at AMAZING prices. The service was attentive and very courteous. We had red bean buns which were excellent, as well as a variety of other cakes that we tried. I'll be back!

I love this place, I go every weekend I get paid. They are cash only but it’s so worth it. Usually get the pork buns, coconut buns or curry turnover. Never have had anything bad from this place and people who work here are so sweet.

This place is amazing. Everything they make is so so yummy! And they keep the prices low. I was here in Chicago for a conference and stayed in the Jaslin hotel across the street. I went two times in one day because I couldn’t stop thinking about the items I ate. So delicious! When I am back in Chicago, I will definitely stop in again. Thank you:)

This is the cutest little bakery that is owned by the nicest sisters. My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid and they are the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Their bakery items and food menu hasn’t changed over the years because everything is so tasty and always hits the spot! I love coming here for a quick bao and milk tea, to grab lunch to go, or to order a cake for special occasions. Can’t recommend enough!

Good traditional Chinese bakery. Fruit tart is my favorite, but everything is good. Boba smoothies are delicious too. Cash only though so be prepared.

Went for some fresh baked goods and Hong Kong tea. Was not disappointed. The tea was good, strong black tea with sweetened condensed milk. I got the ham and egg bun, good thick ham slice with egg and cheese. Bread was soft and slightly sweet. I ate two. Great breakfast/snack. The custard bun was a sweet bread with a generous amount of sweet custard. Very good. Egg tart was a decent size cooked well ( many places seem to under cook them). Good egg flavor. Small pineapple bun. Soft bread with sugar crust. Similar to Mexican conchas. Last I got the almond cookie. Best eaten with the tea. Similar to typical ones at restaurants but larger nut chunks and maybe a bit less sweet. Definitely fresher. Ultimately got 7 items plus tea for $11, which is a good price. Ladys working were attentive and polite. Very happy with this experience. Cash only
