I love this place. The food is delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. You feel like you're in Italy 🇮🇹 they play Italian music 🎶 🎵 I don't understand it, but beautiful. My kids and I went to celebrate the b'day of our beloved father, fiance who passed away, and he would have loved this place. I'm so glad we went there and had a great time. The best part of this is that I live 10 minutes from them. Thanks 👍🏽

UPDATE 10/2023: OMG Rose from Sicily made the pumpkin soup! Elegant and nuanced. Light, creamy, and with a soupçon of home grown organic oregano. What is happening to my life!!!! UPDATE: Homemade giardinara?!!! Fresh and heavenly. UPDATE: I tasted oregano for the very first time here. I’m talking about authentic intense garden oregano. The kind of oregano that just transports you. Fresh grown. Just minced. Breathtaking. ———- Stunningly delicious and satisfying. Crostini from a dream, topped with thick hardy mozzarella and garden fresh basil. Authentic and home made. Learn Italian here.

MARTINOS is a timeless pizza restaurant with loads of charm! Owned by Italians from Sicily since 1964 I believe. it is thoroughly looked after and continues to make delicious pizzas and all sorts of Italian dishes. Well priced too.

This is the neighborhood Pizza restaurant where my wife grew up. It is still some of the best pizza you will ever eat. Three generations of our family have dined here. We even drove from Seattle to eat here.

What a beautiful experience in this old style Italian Restaurant. We were greated by the owner, she also was our server since we were there in the middle of shifts change I guess she was the only ones in the restaurant, she was really kind and helpful a the end of our meal we also met the daughter and we discovered than that was a family business with one daughter in the kitchen one in the front and the Mom at the head of everything. What a nice family atmosphere in this place and what really surprised me was the incredible cleaning in all the restaurant. Everything was just clean at the perfection from the ceiling fan to the restroom and this is really hard to find in the restaurant. We were just visiting Chicago but I'm sure if we were locals we want dining there once a week at least.

A warm welcome and big tasty portions. This was exactly what we were looking for having just flown in from London. The service was excellent, and the food is good value. We enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir which exceeded expectations. Would definitely go back.

First time trying this place. It was a last minute decision and glad we did. Definitely my kind of thin crust pizza. Delicious sauce, even better buttery crust, delicious cheese and pepperoni. I thought the portion for the fried mushrooms was a little small, but those were delicious as well. I cant wait to try sausage and onion on thin crust as well as other menu items. Don't wait to try it! Picked up the order and ate at home.

UPDATE 4/2023: I had the Sausage Calzone today and it was amazing. The sausage, sauce, and crust were perfect. ORIGINAL: I had a thin crust sausage pizza. Everything about the pizza was excellent. One of my favorites on the Northwest Side. The crust was perfect, thin and crispy. The sauce has excellent flavor, just the right amount of sweetness and spices. The sausage is top notch. The people are always friendly and helpful. They have plenty of tables and it's clean and comfortable inside. It appears they have a full bar for drinks. I didn't see any outside seating, but it looks like they have enough space along the side of the restaurant. I will continue to support the restaurant. Bicycling: It's located on Peterson which is a busy street. But, it's also right off a residential street which should be comfortable to ride. I did pay attention if there were any bike racks.

This was a good experience. The staff were so friendly and nice. My 18m son was definitely doing what kids do and the staff didn't make us feel bad that he was making such a mess. The food was good. The only down side was the parking. This place doesn't have a lot of its own so you need to find street parking. Because we went at an off hour it wasn't too bad but still it is my only complaint.
