First time was on Christmas Eve for a late dinner. It was busy, but they sat us in <15 min, got our food ordered, brought out apps and then mains didn't take too long. Everything from the soups to eggrolls to mains (Moo Shu Chicken & Mongolian Beef) was fantastic. Can't wait to go again and also try their drinks!

classic old Chicago Chinese food spot. used to be over on Lincoln for years where we first frequented it and has now moved to this spot on Irving. retains the feel of whatever diner this used to be (i believe a Golden Nugget), but has some of the flair the old spot had. and the food was exactly what we expected and wanted from this place. good portions, saucy chickens and shrimp, tasty appetisers. the cantonese pan-fried noodles are one of my favourite sides. has parking available which was nice, and the waitress and service was very nice and inviting. as always, ate too much, but leftovers work excellently the next day.

One of the best Chinese establishments around. I have ordered take out and it was just as good as dining in. My favorites are the ma po tofu, salt and pepper tofu, the diced chicken that’s spicy and only served in- house. The hot and sour soup is making me drool just writing about it. Oh and beef chow fun!!

I finally made it into this place after saying I would for two years! I love how this place looks on the outside, like it just popped out of a time capsule. I also love that there’s free parking in the attached lot. When we arrived we were seated right away. As expected from a traditional Chinese restaurant, the menu is extensive. What’s unexpected is the list of tropical cocktails and selection of beers, many of them Chinese. I personally loved the fun tiki glassware for the cocktails and the Buddha-shaped bottle of my Lucky Buddha beer. After reading the reviews, I had to get an egg roll. It was as gigantic as everyone says. I also got Hot and Sour soup, which was very tasty. The General Tao’s chicken was crispy and had a tiny bit of heat. A carafe of tea is also served to every table, which I thought was nice. Overall, I had a good experience here. The service was quick, although not entirely cordial. The food was good, the drinks were fun, and the prices were reasonable. I can definitely see myself coming here again.

My parents used to take me here when I was a toddler, and now my wife and I take our toddler here! I highly recommend the orange chicken dinner with extra orange chicken sauce and bbq fried rice. The restaurant is super family friendly and they even have a parking lot. Kim and her husband are amazing people. I am glad this place is still around and I get to share it with the next generation of my family. I hope it stays around for many years to come. This place is iconic.

I love this place. The prices look high but the portions are huge even when split with another person. I loved the spicy beef. Lots of interesting Asian beers on the menu as well. Free hot tea and wonderful service too.

This is the Chinese restaurant you have been searching for. The ambiance is great and makes it feel like you are in a land Far East. All of us ended up getting Chinese staples. I got the fried rice, a general Tso was ordered as well as egg rolls, wonton soup and a vegetable tofu platter. They just moved to the Irving Park location but at their previous location in Lincoln square they were known for their fruity and powerful cocktails. Specifically, their mai tais. But in typical Chicago fashion they are waiting on the city to approve their liquor license so until then you have to bring your own fruity powerful drinks!

We love this place! So glad they came to Albany Park. We've tried various dishes, and they are all really fresh, and really good. Service is great, our waiter Leo is so nice and polite, and very attentive. We've found our new go to spot!

We’d had takeout from here at a friend’s that was really good so when I was looking for a lunch spot with some family after my partner’s dance performance nearby I’m so glad I chose this lovely place. We were in midafternoon on a Saturday which was a great time to ask for a table for 8. Everyone, including the manager and especially our waitress were just absolutely wonderful in so many ways. The food was to me the best Chinese in our area and everything from egg rolls to scallops were fresh and quality. Also portions are plentiful so go family style and you won’t feel ripped off like at other places who’ve understandably kept prices down but reduced their portions. Most important they made time with family even more fun and enjoyable.

Great new addition to Avondale area. Nice selection of Chinese American dishes and traditional Chinese dishes, in addition to Korean Chinese dishes. Service was great and helpful. I would like to try the Chef Specials next time. The space was originally a Golden Nugget so a bit of the old layout has transitioned with the new restaurant. Very large and clean space with beautiful East Asian decor. Portions are moderate but thought the King Trumpet and Tofu side dish was a bit over priced and wrongly advertised especially since I did not see any King Trumpet Mushrooms. The Jajangmyeon (Noodles with Black Bean Sauce) was flavorful with chewy noodles. Definitely will return for that and stick to their specialities.

Wow! Stellar dishes and service. Vegetable eggs rolls were best I’ve had in a long time. The back pages of the menu have the more authentic and unique dishes, for the adventurous diner… Cumin Lamb here was spectacular (spicy, in a good way!) Nice touches with tea and almond cookies. I’m glad this spot is in the neighborhood! Also, responding to earlier comments: The place was super clean. My booth and table was wiped down in full before being seated. And the bathrooms were spotless.

They always use fresh ingredients, which sets them apart from other Chinese restaurants, and the kindness of the Korean owner is always appreciated. Their "Kkanpunggi" sides are crispy and tender and delightful. Especially, the Korean-style black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon) and spicy seafood noodles (jjamppong) are the highlights of this place. It seems like this is the only spot in Chicago where you can truly enjoy authentic jjajangmyeon. 짜장면 짬뽕 제대로 합니다

Truly amazing!!! Ordered delivery, est delivery 1 hour— arrived in 30 minutes. Packaged to go was really good, the crispy chicken separate so it didn’t get soggy is a big win for me. The food is fantastic. I got the empress Chicken and the Szechuan beef. The beef is tender and tasty, the sauces are so flavorful. Also, the delivery driver was so genuine and kind on the phone, feels like a real family business. Will order again!

One of few decent Chinese restaurants left. Fresh, flavorful, & consistent . I have to drive 30 min to pickup or dine in which I am glad to do. We have tried so many other Chinese places w/ complete disappointment & waste. I hope we have them around for more yrs.
