The staff was very friendly. Cool vibe. Great drinks, and the food was fantastic
After a somewhat disappointing experience the first time I went, my views have completely changed. The managers reached out and listen to the issues and appeared to have relayed that back to all the servers. The second time I went was a great experience. The mangers and servers all were very friendly and great in general.
I've heard great things about this place and after my last visit, I'd have to agree. I would definitely recommend going for food/drinks. The patio/beer garden is a great place to hang out. If there are any issues, the management team definitely tries to resolve the problem right away and they go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. I'm glad this second visit was a great experience since I live close and have a go to bar that I'm happy to go back to.
Really good food, bar menu is pretty extensive and the waitress seemed to know what she was talking about. Atmosphere is good and the beer garden out back is fantastic. The neighbor upstairs was causing problems but that doesn't seem like something they can control much. Would recommend for a casual evening.
As the Michigan crowd faded out, the Graham Nash (oldies!) rolled in. The service was excellent and our server didn't hold it against me that I was a Wisconsin fan. The spinach artichoke dip was great and our entrees didn't disappoint. I have some Michigan fans who will greatly appreciate the lively Wolverine atmosphere.
We have been coming here for 9 years since it was Jack’s. The food is good and reasonably priced and we frequently take advantage of the specials. We also have an onion card which is very nice. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly and delightful My only complaint is that they the wine is too expensive. Paying $12 for a glass of house red wine is ridiculous!

I have been going to Diag for my whole life and loving it, they have food for all ages that tastes divine. They have an amazing patio, bar, and indoor seating. The have amazing appetizers like nachos, pretzels. They also have lots of amazing entrees and dessert. Finally they have an amazing wine bar connected called 404 wine bar. Those are few of the many amazing things at Diag.
Good bar food selection and beer list, and the service was fast and friendly. Most importantly, this is a great spot for Eagles fans to see the birds play every weekend. I’m sure we will be back many times next football season!
I've been to Diag a few times and it has always been fun, the food and drinks are phenomenal. Also the service is great. Last time I was there our server was Heather and she was outstanding; super personable and funny. I've recommended Diag to a bunch of my friends and will definitely be coming back.
Good prices and good beer! Food also comes out quickly and dogs are welcomed on the patio. The patio has a lot of TV's with sports games playing, good place for large socializing indoors and outdoors.
We are regulars at Diag, my husband and son probably more. We enjoy the energy, food and the staff is really nice. Heather is always so friendly to our son, he gets really excited to see her. They have had some new food items recently that have been really good and during week they have good specials.
Go to this bar for bingo nights on Thursday and you'll get several free shots of fireball. I won an inflatable sword when I got a bingo. The MC of bingo night was funny and engaging if not a little boisterous. It was a great time, the food we ordered was good for bar food, and the decor was cozy and dark as all good bars are. A fun spot to go for laid-back fun and pretty good selection of drinks.
The atmosphere is pretty casual, and it's usually quiet enough that you can have a conversation even pretty late. The food is tasty, and the kitchen is definitely generous with the tots. Also, it's a lot larger than you might think.
I had the best experience at Diag, what planned to be a quick early dinner, turned into a 8 hour stay! Our server, Heather, was so personable and friendly! I was in a group with 6 others, and we never waited for drinks or refills. She was so attentive. This place fast became one of my go-tos!
The outdoor patio was a very chill place to sit on a Tuesday night. Comfy couches, nice ambiance. We went for the burger and fries special, which was a great deal and very tasty. My only complaint is that it took a long time for us to get our food, waitress seemed a bit confused and couldn't recall which beers they had on tap. But I would definitely go back.
UPDATE (from 4 stars to 5): I went to Diag for the 2nd time last night, this time for Monday night trivia, and had a really amazing time. The questions were just tricky enough to be fun without feeling impossible, and covered a wide variety of topics. Prizes were $100 cash for first place, and then $100 and $50 gift cards for 2nd and 3rd--good deal!
And as much as I liked their outdoor space, indoors is really great, too. Everything looks new and clean, and the music was a nice mix of 90s hits at a good medium volume--overall it was relaxed and fun without being too loud, perfect for a chill Monday night.
For food and drinks, the beer-of-the-month was quality (and at $4 glass /$10 pitchers it was a great deal!), and the mac 'n cheese was delicious--I loved the crunchy breadcrumbs on top.
And the highlight of the night: I mentioned in a previous review that our waitress was not the best, but I now see that is not at all typical of Diag. The service was exceptional, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Diag's management actually responded to my last review (on Yelp), something I never expected--to me that shows that Diag really cares about customers' experiences, and made my friends and I proud to give them our business. Good feelings all around. I'm very glad they brought us back, and my team and I look forward to returning to spend our 2nd place gift card (and hopefully move up to 1st place!).
Fun college themed sports bar gastro-pub with a great menu and many beers on tap. Friendly staff, and themed nights throughout the year. A must hit brunch spot in the warmer months sitting out on the patio.
The food & service here are amazing. We were thrilled... But it's super loud- and needlessly so. Every person at every table was shouting over tvs & music. I'd definitely go back for the food- I'd probably bring earplugs.
I had some friends from out of town this past weekend and we ended up at the Diag. We went Friday for the Tigers game and the Michigan game on Saturday. The place was packed both times. We all ordered food and drinks, both of which were quick to the table. I will definitely be going back!
