It's our go-to spot for brunch in the neighborhood. The food is great and the breakfast burrito is especially tasty. We're always able to find a table on weekends too.

Quaint, quiet location in a great spot in the South Loop. Outdoor seating if you want to indulge. I highly recommend this cafe if you are looking to bite to eat without the crowds.

Great venue and unmet potential. The chef needs to believe in his product and could be a little more generous with the good ingredients in the sandwiches and omlets. Parking is also limited at the moment, mostly by the city / condo wanting to keep a vast and open spaces look to the surrounding streets. Otherwise all good.

So glad we chose this place. It was on a game day and we got in just before the big lines. I was worried it would take awhile to get the food. I did not need to worry. The food came out in less than 5 minutes! The service was fantastic. The coffee was huge! And so yummy. My partner almost licked his plate clean of the chilaquiles. The steak on it was so flavorful. My omelet could have used a bit more seasoning. But considering the crowds I was okay with it.

Cute retro lunch cafe style place literally across the street from the Field Museum in Chicago. It's on a little cul de sac street so after you leave you kinda have to walk all the way around to get to the Field Museum but I'm glad I came here . They serve very tasty and unpretentious sandwiches or breakfast stuff. I had the Vegetarian Panini which was cooked mushrooms with avocado and crudite veggies on marbeled bread that was put in Panini press with chips and pickle . Very tasty . My friend had the blackened chicken on a bun and said it was a step above a regular chicken sandwich. I don't eat chicken so I didn't try it but he liked it. Serious cup of chamomile tea too which they gave me a to-go container for what I didn't finish. Staff are extremely nice . This place is laid back. It's on ground floor of big residential building. Recommended.

Great coffee-shop. The atmosphere is chill, not too loud, big up for the outdoor space which allows to really breath for a bit. The waitresses were really nice, and very great Chorizo Benedicts, so good !

If you know me, you know we have to break this down. Why 5 Stars, we’ll let’s think of the dining experience 1. Ambiance - 5 Stars. A fun little bistro on the corner of a semi- residential area. Not large which makes it quaint and personal. 2. Staff and Customer Service - 5 Stars. Cristal was great. Great recommendations, personal, not pushy and fast service. Attentive to refills on H2O. 3. Food - 4.5 Stars. It was fresh and good homemade flavor. Had the Lentil soup and the chicken (grilled) sandwich. French fries were average 4. Cleanliness - 4 Stars. Bathroom is communal with the dry cleaning so I didn’t have high expectations. Overall - loved it and greatly recommend. Great price for food and great overall dining experience.

Fun place to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As some of the other reviewers have said, the food was a little bit bland, but what I think they mean is that the food wasn’t pre salted. I really enjoyed the natural flavors and being able to add a little bit of salt or a lot of I wanted. Without the overpowering salt I was able to taste the flavors of all the ingredients in the salsa and on the avocado toast. The location is a little bit out of the way. Even then it was full at lunch time, but no wait.

We found this place on Google maps; it is not in trip advisor. It's located at the ground floor of a bldg in a residential area so was very quiet. My bf ordered a breakfast sandwich; he was able to order cinnamon raisin bagel to get the sweet & salty taste (see photo). He enjoyed his sandwich. I orderedfrom the pastry display at front of cafe (see photo). No labels/names to the pastry but the waitress was able to name everyone of them when we looked at the pic I took to help me decide. The berry pastry was delicious and perfect for what I wanted that morning. Overall, definitely worth a stop in. Service was good. From there, you can walk to any of the museums on the South side of Grant Park.

Update: breakfast potatoes are delicious! I don’t come here as much as I intend to, but the latte’s are excellent and so are the breakfast options. Love all the employees, so friendly and great baristas ☕️

Highly recommend this brunch location if ever in the Museum Campus location. It’s not a huge Cafe, but it is comfortable. The service was excellent, everyone there was very friendly and they checked on one enough but not overdoing it. The food was delicious as well as the smoothies. Everything is made fresh and that freshness can be tasted. The only thing we did not like was the espresso or cappuccino. They have an awesome espresso machine, but the quality of the grounds are probably not good enough. Mind you this is coming from an Italian family so, maybe the espresso is good to others, but that was our only dislike. Overall, I highly recommend Little Branch Cafe.

Cute hidden cafe in the south loop. Very friendly staff, large breakfast menu with many options that all sounded delicious. I went with the Toucan smoothy and the Egg Frittata sandwich. I loved both! I must mention the potatoes, they were seasoned and so good!! Prices were very reasonable for downtown. This will be my go to spot when im in the area. 😊😊

Pardon the bite out of my amazing frittata breakfast sandwich! It looked too good to wait. Perfectly fluffy and balanced. Big coffee and tea menu. Had coffee, black. Perfect as well. Place is quiet, sunny, and the whole staff are on point--servers and kitchen who created that wonderful plate.

Best food in a while, it’s downtown price, so be aware, but in my opinion it’s worth every cent. I had the Chicken Pecan Salad and the Parakeet Fruit Smoothie and it was amazing, I devoured it like a dog, I felt rejuvenated and restored, and i’m ready for whatever may come my way…..

I love little branch! The staff is very friendly and always remembers me (including my favorite Danish). Their breakfast is really good, my favorites are the breakfast burrito, and the chorizo/egg plate. They also make amazing lattes (some of the best in the area). I'm a frequent customer here!

The best breakfast in the south loop. Wonderful chefs and great customer service. One of our favorite places to do some computer work. It is small, so avoid coming with a large group. We love this local south loop spot.
