The moment you step into Offshore Rooftop, you're greeted with a breathtaking view of the Chicago skyline. Perched atop the Navy Pier, it's the perfect spot to soak in the city's beauty. The space is sprawling yet intimate, with cozy seating areas and an inviting fire pit. The decor is modern and chic, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that's perfect for an evening out. The food and drinks do not disappoint. The menu is a blend of classic and innovative dishes, each one more delicious than the last. But what truly sets Offshore Rooftop apart is the service. The staff is attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable experience. Whether you're looking to unwind after a long day or celebrate a special occasion, Offshore Rooftop is a fantastic choice. It's a place where you can enjoy great food and drinks, all while taking in the stunning Chicago skyline.

First time coming here….We love rooftops so we had to check this one out. The hosts were kinda rude…we usually do reservations through resy or OpenTable but we happened to be walking by and decided to stop with no reservation. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. Everything was okay…I’m not too sure if they had just opened but the draft beers were hot. We went for the views and were able to freely walk around and take pictures. We did go on a Monday so maybe we didn’t get the best vibe but it’s worth checking out at least once.

I went on Sunday afternoon. This rooftop has the magnificent views of the lake Michigan. We stayed on the bar for a few minutes after our drinks were made. By that way, the drinks are made 👌with perfection , well presentation and taste absolutely amazing 👏. The bartenders are very friendly . We went outside to enjoy the views.

The food was really good, and so were the drinks, but the best part was the view. It was so nice to see the city and water. They also had a firework show that was great. Highly recommend

UPDATE: NOVEMBER 2023 Hubby and I were invited back to offshore being given a voucher to rectify the Mother’s Day fail from the review below. All and all they were kind and handled us well. The food is good here and the drinks are ALWAYS delicious. The atmosphere was a little chilly and the hostess tried her best to accommodate us because of it. The manager came by and introduced himself and said he was aware of us coming. Sean (the General manager) was extremely attentive via email to ensure this review was properly addressed. I appreciate all the effort they put into having us try them again. Thank you. If you’ve never been to Offshore. The view is to die for. It’s worth a try. I live by the motto I’ll try anything once. Except offshore… I tried them twice😆 PICTURES FROM 2nd visit: -PIZZA (B+) -SALAD (B-) nothing special -Espresso Martini (A+) -OYSTERS (A) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had been eagerly anticipating my visit to the Offshore restaurant at Navy Pier, ever since my husband's company hosted an event there. The enchanting view from the venue had me hooked at first sight. So, I booked a table for Mother's Day 2023, intending to share a memorable meal with my daughter, sister, and mother. We arrived early at 1:05 PM for our 1:45 PM reservation, and the host graciously allowed us to sit at the bar until our table was ready. The bartenders, Vincent and Jasmine, were absolutely stellar - attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Vincent even suggested we might prefer to stay at the bar, an offer we should have accepted in hindsight. By 1:40 PM, I noticed the restaurant clearing out and asked my daughter to check on our reservation. Sure enough, our table was ready. However, from that moment, our experience took a downward turn. Although we reached our table at 1:45 PM, no one greeted us for a long time. Despite asking three different staff members to find our waitress, we were left waiting in silence. At 2:05 PM, after 20 minutes of waiting, I had to call out to a waiter clearing a nearby table to get some attention. Given the premium prices of the drinks, I expected a warm welcome at the very least. This lack of attention was a disappointment, especially on Mother's Day, a day meant for relaxation and celebration. The waiter who wasn't initially assigned to us took our order and returned shortly to inform my sister that her choice of wings wasn't available as it was on the dinner menu. She settled for steak and eggs, scrambled. However, the waiter returned to clarify her order again, even though he had just noted it down. When our food finally arrived, the eggs were poached, not scrambled. Strangely, another waiter brought the wings that were supposedly unavailable. We also never received the six oysters we ordered. Open Table had promised a bouquet of flowers for all mothers dining at Offshore on Mother's Day. I only spotted these bouquets when I was at the host stand, voicing my concerns about the poor service and indifferent attitudes of the staff, with the exception of the two bartenders. It's a shame because the food and drinks were truly exceptional, and the bright ambiance with the stunning view made for a potential perfect dining experience. However, the service was deeply lacking, a 2 out of 10 at best, and that too mainly thanks to Vincent's efforts. On special occasions such as Mother's Day, I believe it's crucial to ensure top-notch service. We felt ignored and neglected, despite shelling out more than $250 for a brunch for four. At that price, a simple greeting from the waitress within five minutes of seating should be a given. Unless required for a company event, I won't be returning to this establishment. It's unfortunate because the potential for a splendid dining experience is there, but the service was a letdown.

This is definitely a place you go to for the ambience! However I found their breakfast quite disappointing, food was very plain, no seasoning, nothing to make it special and not worth what it cost. Their lunch/dinner menu is definitely better. Otherwise great views and friendly staff.

We had a phenomenal time. Our waiter Emmit was AMAZING! He was so attentive and kind. He took great care of our group. Emmit had great drink recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. We will definitely be coming back and asking for him specifically! Great customer service!

Amazing views and definitely an upscale vibe. Reservations recommended but you can get a seat at the bar. The poke bowls were delightful.

It's one of the best rooftops in the city. Best views of the lake, amazing food, and exotic drinks. Love the cocktails.

My wife and I both enjoyed our visit to the Offshore Rooftop. Park in the last garage and Valet park for $20 bucks and get your ticket validated from the restaurant. The view was amazing. The service was excellent and very attentive. Our waitress was Lori. My wife and I turned to each other and said we would definitely go back again based on our experience.

I went here for a holiday party and it was amazing. They decorated it beautifully, food was everywhere, with several options, and they kept it fresh. The only complaint on the food was that the Alfredo sauce tasted like cheap jarred sauce - basically heavy creamy and garlic, but I'm picky. Drinks were strong, there was definitely something for everyone (moscato would've been nice though), and they used high-quality liquor. The bartenders were quick, and wait times were very short. A couple more larger tables would've been nice, but I understand the appeal of the smaller high tops. Again, I'm nitpicking a little bit but overall it was great and I want to go back for a normal meal service.

We came here with our friends for some drinks and quick bites. I was excited to check out this place because I had heard it has great views of the city skyline. Depending on where you get seated, it is either only views of Lake Michigan or some of the lake and little bit of the city skyline. The food was great and drinks were decent too. We noticed some drinks got served in plastic glasses and IMHO, I wasn’t impressed by that. They seem to have some sections of the outdoor patio that can be reserved for private parties. The vibe of the place is great and hip. Quick and attentive service. It is quite packed on weekends, prior reservations are recommended.

Great local friendly staff and great food, not much of your not a sea food water but burger was perfect and you can't beat the location and prices for downtown Chicago are not bad at all.
