Their biscuits are buttery, decadent, super moist. I ordered the gravy with the eggs and sausage. My wife ordered the sausage. Here's the thing about these sausages; they tasted very Armenian. If you like spicy food these are for you. If you don't here's your "they have a bit of a kick" warning. Now onto the pie. It was a bit on the smaller side. That's a good thing. Any bigger and it would have been too much. It is decadent to say the least. Staff was friendly. Place was very clean. All in all had a very good meal.
My wife and I had breakfast here for the first time today and it won't be our last. We ended up ordering the same thing which is always a bummer to not get to sample a second dish, but had we not, I fear one of us would have had to concede over their breakfast sandwich. Truly One of the best I've ever had. The staff was very kind and the service was stellar, from the host to the coffee porter. The environment is also very inviting and clean (inside and out). Highly recommend.
This place was fantastic! A cozy cafe with a great vibe. Presentation of the food was pristine and the taste was even better. Avocado biscuit is a definite favorite of mine. The employees were so kind that when we told them we were splitting our dish between two people they went ahead and brought us two separate plates with the food already decided.
No better place for biscuits & pies.
Nice little place with strong hipster vibes (alternative sitting, fire place and a shandalire) good food and helpful service. Ordering done from the register but food is waiter to your table. They have great varaity of biscuit and pie (as the name suggest) but I order the soup which was ok (and a pie that was very tasty).
You just have to go, anything I say won't do it justice. Sausage with egg is my recommendation though.
Back again... Just as awesome as the first time. Did you know you can have ham on ham or sausage on sausage? Just ask and they're really accommodating.
Third time's the charm, Farmer with sausage and bottomless cup of coffee makes the morning right!
Hands down best biscuit place for anyone that has an obsession for a soft, fluffy, buttery biscuit as big as your head. I love the simplicity of the menu and the quaint restaurant 10/10 if I could.
Think this will be my new go-to breakfast spot - the food & coffee were amazing, service was great & it wasn't overly crowded on a Sunday morning. Definitely recommend the biscuit with avocado.
My favorite breakfast spot, pie far. The Bang Bang crew is always in a great mood and happy to give a recommendation of which pie, to compliment my breakfast! The pie selections are always changing giving more excuses to visit one of the friendliest places in Chicago! 🥧
This is one of those best-kept secrets. Whether you're looking for a good meal or just a sweet treat, Bang Bang Pie hits the spot! The Ravenswood location is great, giving you a quiet neighborhood to walk off the calories you'll consume. A+++
Can't stress this enough: excellent pie. And it was a goose island night, so plenty of Bourbon county stout prop etc.
Omg! This place was worth the drive for us! We had a simple biscuit with a side of gravy (and asked for some jam) because I couldn’t decided between sweet or savory. Oh so good!!
One of the best, most unique brunch options in the Ravenswood area. Absolute must-visit.
THE place to go for pie in Chicago. Candied bacon is amazing, great selection of different biscuit entrees.
First time coming here, I don’t live to far this place just never had the time but I must confess it was def worth the wait everything was amazing staff food and playlist of music I really enjoyed and def will come back thanks guys! (Damen Ave)
Absolutely delicious food and the service is top-notch. I will definitely be a return customer
Picked up a catering order, and the pies were a hit and so delicious! Also, picked up some biscuits for breakfast and they may be the best biscuits in town.
Delicious. Handmade. Friendly service. Outside seating.
