Pour your own beer places are awesome becuase you can try a bunch of nee beers. I usually try like 10 new beers when I visit they type of places. Price per oz here was a little high, but still worth it
Very fun concept, where you pay by the ounce and pour your own drink. It's nice to be able to try a few beers/ciders on tap. They also have wine in their selection. I wish their cocktail options were available as well when I went, but I'll be back to check those out. They offer a variety of board games too. Overall, a nice and chill place to go hang out with friends.
It's a chain, but it's a really cool concept that was executed perfectly. The pour yourself by the oz really made it a pick and choose adventure. The games are great to keep you entertained and while we couldn't stay for it, trivia night at a place like this would be perfect.
Great place! Super cute and comfy inside. I loved that they had cocktails on draft.
It wasn’t too pricey, considering the cocktails are draft and you’re not paying for tip. obviosuly, beer would be cheaper but it is cool that cocktails are an option for those that don’t like beer.
Good selection of drinks. You pay by the ounce for both beer and cocktails. Food can be ordered from restaurants and delivered to your table. They have an assortment of games. The only downside is that you have to pay for popcorn. Good aesthetics and variety of seating.
Cool hang out with plenty of fun decor and plenty of choices. Great place to try a little of everything (mixed, beer, wine). Can be a bit pricey for a full pour. Fun atmosphere with games and comfortable seats. Highly reccomend for a casual hang out or meeting with friends.
A unique concept of "serve yourself". Not the only place around but one of few. I visited here early afternoon in a Saturday so patrons were sparse but that's what was so great. If you want to experience the awesomely huge lounging chairs and have as much time as you want to read up on what each tap has to offer then the best time to go is when not crowded!
What I really liked about the serve yourself concept is you can take whatever size glass you want and truly sample or drink to your desire. There are even wines, cider, and mixed drinks that you can choose. Although I would be Leary of the mixed cocktail options.
The vibe is interesting, neon type lighting. Not sure if it changes colors but if so that's awesome. Not a ton of seating so I'm sure once there's a crowd most people are standing and mingling. Overall a very cool place worth a try.
Tapster has a fun concept in which you get to pour your own drinks (wine, beer, cider, cocktails).
It's nice that you get to explore your taste, and they have a beautiful interior. The only drawback was that I was expecting more options.
Rebecca, Matt, and her team were awesome to work with for my school‘s holiday party. Their semi-private space is beautiful!
I’ve never left a review for a bar before, but this one is worth the time! It’s just dope. If you want a fun bar experience, go here. The tap system is amazingly fun and you can either chill out in the couches or play a board game while sipping the huge variety of beers, ciders, wines, busy kombucha, busy matcha tea, and more. Favorite bar in Chicago.
Opening night and I'm impressed! There are definitely some flow issues that need to be taken care of & likely a temp issue with some of the taps because the beer was a bit foamy, but the concept is awesome!
You give them your credit card & they give you a plastic debit card, exchange it when you're done. Everything is priced by ounce.
They have beer, cider, wine, cocktails, coffee & kombucha & some food (we got the pretzels & cheese 👍) I'm in love! Hope it doesn't get too crazy.
This place is amazing. First self serve beer place I have been to and with 62 taps to choose from it's a real experience for the beer and wine enthusiast. Even have 12 cocktails to choose from that you can pour a little bit to taste before you buy a full glass. Great idea will be back for sure.
This is a very cool concept!! If you don't like the idea of waiting for your server to take your order, this is the place to be. Self serve craft beers and cocktails are the USP of this bar. Freedom of choice after all! :)
Fun place to try a little of each drink. It's really easy to just stop in and out, as you've only got to check in once and then just place the card they give you in a pre-tip calculated bin.
I wish perhaps there wasn't a 10$ minimum on cards, however I understand why it's there. Another nice feature would perhaps be to be able to pre-load a card or something, i.e. load it with 20$ minus an automatic 4$ tip or something, so that way I could just pay with cash when I walk in and still use a card.
Really cool place, love the concept and bonus points for cocktails, non alcoholic, and wine!!
One star deduction not enough variety too many IPAS - add some sours and cream ales!!
I had an amazing experience there pouring my own drinks. Large selection of beers and cocktails.
The place has a unique decoration and they offer free popcorn!
Place is pretty cool and has lots of options of different types of beers! Was very busy towards the end of the late would recommend to get here around 8pm to beat the crowd. Place gives you a card to use for drink machines just ask the bar!
