Great service, tasty food. Ambience is very cozy. A great spot for a couple date night, not too noisy and very courteous staff.
Food tastes really good and portion sizes and ample as well.
Went with two young kids, who enjoyed the place in plenty and staff was not frustrated at all.
Would definitely recommend the place and will go again.
Stopped by at this resturant after the Air & Water show and I'm glad I did.
There was a big crowd but the one waiter who was working at the time was very skilled and got our orders in fast.
The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and in large portions ( we all took food home in to go boxes)
Having studied abroad in Thailand I'm picky about the thai resturants I visit and I can confidently say this resturant is very authentic in how they cook their food , can't wait to go back
Tiparos is a hidden gem in Chicago, serving up some of the most delicious Thai food in the city. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic pad Thai and curries to more unique options like mango sticky rice and Thai doughnuts. Everything I've tried here has been absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for a great place to get Thai food or sushi in Chicago, I highly recommend Tiparos.
Good place for a casual Thai meal. The green curry was decent, the fried hot curry was really good. Crab rangoons were delicious. The miso soup was alright. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and a Boba cost us ~$60. Staff was courteous and friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend the place if it's in your area.
The food is fresh! My daughter ordered the pad see eiw and I ordered spicy basil leaves. The support staff was so welcoming, and they even helped me bag my food while my toddler slid off of the seat. I am a huge fan of Thai cuisine and can be quite critical, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. My only gripe: more smoked salmon sushi options. Other than that, we will definitely visit again. We felt welcomed as we enjoyed a great meal.
nice ambience excellent food and
good service by Mark
We had theYom Yum soup was fragrant and mild, just loved the flavour
The mussaman curry with sticky rice was delicious, only wish that they had added more pineapple to it! There were just three pieces and the potatoes were too many!
Thecregular fried rice came decorated with a slice pf lemon and cucumbers! Adding the lemon juice to the rice really enhanced the taste! Desert was Moh Kang which is a Thai Custard and is somewhat similar to the indian halwa ! slightly strong though and we shared the small square between three!
Spicy basil fried rice , Cashew chicken and Crab Rangoon all very delicious ! Super friendly staff and the prices were great! Definitely be ready to ask for take home boxes
Giving it the big 5 stars because the friends I invited here now call this restaurant one of their staples! Truly an unassuming, well-priced, quality Thai option in the Gold Coast.
Very local feel; more old-school /traditional vibe. In my opinion, food options make up for this!

Went with a group after visiting the Chicago History Museum and we all though our food was excellent! Very satisfying as it was a place we "settled" on due to high wait times at other more popular restaurants in the area.
Good food! Sizable portions! Service was good even for just takeout! The Atmosphere-of the restaurant could use some work. Overall I’d be back
Large portions, authentic taste, friendly staff, would love to go there again if I have a chance to go to Chicago next time.
Good place for lunch, they open early and food is freshly prepared and very tasty. Service is discrete and nice. They have some food beers too.
I believe I got the Tom yum and it was the best soup I've had in a while. The staff were super friendly, and it's a great spot to go after the Van goh exhibit!
Fantastic food. Had the appetizer platter that was fantastic. Loved the fried dumplings and shrimp shumai. The padthai was excellent as was the miso soup.
