Excellent food, friendly service, and the beer–brewed in house–was outstanding. We were a large group, but we were seated after a reasonable wait for a Saturday! Highly recommend, this place is amazing! We tried the scallion pancakes with a fried egg on top, the Chicago beef bao and the ssam plate - all to die for! The beer choices were extensive with unique but pleasant flavor and we tried quite a few. The bottom floor had a nice, open, and inviting feel, with views to where the beer is brewed. The newly added upstairs with outdoor patio was beautiful! The greenhouse inspired roof let so much light in and is retractable. There are beautiful plants and greenery that give a natural airy feel to the ambiance. We will definitely be back again soon to try the rest of the beer and food menus!

Nice change from a Downtown restaurant. It’s located in Wicker Park and a hidden gem. The upstairs dining area was stunning. The food had amazing flavors and a fusion of sorts with many different cuisines. The cocktails were delicious as well. Great job!

Went to BiXi for Dim Sum brunch — the food, service and ambiance all get 5 stars! I highly recommend the spicy chicken baked buns, the kimchi, and the yibin style noodle (vegan). They also have a few house brews. I tried the mandarin witbier, which was very unique. I'll definitely be back.

Our favorite spot in Logan square - excellent choice of beers and cocktails . Bao and crepes were delightful! We recommend this place for a date night or meeting up with friends, on a nice sunny day try to get table on their rooftop.

We ordered from each section of the menu and everything was delicious. My favorite were the bulgogi buns. The rooftop is super cute and has a retractable roof.

All of the food was delicious!! Great in house beer. Exceptional service, very accommodating. BEAUTIFUL ambiance; downstairs is dark and more luxe, upstairs bright and fresh. Everything we ate and drank was sooo good. Chx sandwich, beef fat fries,Togarashi burger, scallion noodles, rangoon and rolls… I wish we had more room to try other items. for more. Soju, nice after dinner “cleanser” 👌🏼

Food was really good. Service a little iffy. But all said I'd highly recommend. We did the dim sum. Beef bulgogi boa buns were awesome. Garlic scallion noodles were really good. Shumai was amazing and the chili oil with it. Egg rolls were more fried spring roll, but good. Cauliflower boa were good. Bahn mi was a good egg sandwich but not really a bahn mi. Soba noodles were good. The beers were nice. The mezcal bloody was ok. A little much. The Vietnamese coffee drink was really. I highly recommend going here.

Stopped in Chicago to visit an old friend and meet her significant other. They made us a brunch reservation here, and it was undoubtedly a great time! The chicken sandwich was delicious, not very spicy, but cooked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their food and what drinks we had. I’d certainly stop back by the next time I’m in town!

7 of us came here for a special girl’s dinner and the service was impeccable. Everyone at my table ordered several plates to share. I was the only vegan of the group, so my food was ordered separately. The server made recommendations for me and continuously updated me on what was and wasn’t vegan. When I saw fluffy baguettes on the table, I had to have one. The server went back to the kitchen, confirmed the ingredients, and brought me a baguette without butter. I started with the brusselsprout salad — which I shared with 3 of my friends. We all LOVED it. There were dates and a delicious crunch with every bite. He swapped the dressings for a vinaigrette option and it was perfect. Despite sharing with 3 other people, I still had a tough time finishing. The serving size was huge and it was super filling. I actually didn’t even touch my main entree because I was so full from the salad. Great service. Cute ambiance. Vegan friendly.

The food here is absolutely stellar and the shifties lager is so crisp and refreshing. There's so many diverse flavors throughout this menu that I don't even know where to start. The bixi Mac burger isn't the best in town but it's pretty damn delicious. Lettuce on a burger is always a big no-no to me mainly because it always ends up wilted and gross half way through (but hey, great take on a big Mac). Other than that, it packs a wonderful cheesy umami flavor that doesn't disappoint. The fries were super fresh and crisp, nice and salty without being over powering. Reminiscent of McD's and possibly better. Lastly, the dessert they just added to the menu hit all the notes (Thai peanut sundae). The peanut butter ice cream pairs well with the saltiness and spiciness from the peanuts. The fruit keeps is refreshing and light on the front end while the caramel sticks to the back of your spoon making you wish there was more. I've been here 3 or 4 times now for small meals and I don't think I'll stop. The ambiance of the place is great and outdoor rooftop seating is pretty much the norm here. Love it all.

Such a great kinda tucked away spot. 1st floor decor has a great chill vibe while upstairs is open and bright and lovely. Good beer list and cocktails. Food is definitely solid as well. The owner also used to own Owen & Engine (RIP) and we came for the Owen Pop-up.

First time trying and not disappointed. Open seating indoors and Lauren was a great server. Beer selection was on point and wings and fries were even better. Shared the chicken sandwich and yibin style noodle. If you enjoy spices and flavor this is the place for you. Definitely plan on coming back.

Great food very nice lounge style atmosphere. It’s very ‘traditional Chicago vibe’ by this I mean a small upscale eclectic vibe locale with a selective menu and local small batch brews. The outdoor part is supposed to be even better, but hard to get reservations there as of now. If it smells very herbally or organic it’s probably the live moss wall. We sat not too far from it and that was the first thing we smelt. I liked the smell, but it’s not for everyone.

Some places are only pretty and some places only focus on their food. But I can say that this place managed to do both. It was so pretty at the atrium. Lots of natural light and airy feel. There were other rooms you can walk into and take pictures at too. The food was amazing. I got the drunken noodles and it tasted so flavourful. It was on the spicier side, so if you cannot handle spice then get something else. Its someplace nice and quiet. A quiet getaway from the cold too.
