First time hanging out in the Wrigleyville area. Went with some friends to Houndstooth Saloon. Great atmosphere. We had a great waitress that made sure we had drinks and a clean table and our order was taken fast and correctly. The food was great. My son had their famous burger and really enjoyed it. The buffalo chicken nachos are great well worth the try.
Great place for a Bama game or a meal! All you can eat fish fridays going on right now. Everyone I’ve ever seen working here has been super pleasant and accommodating. Good community outreach with events, and good daily specials. Can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu food-wise, but I’ve mostly just visited for a couple beers on game day. Houndstooth rocks!
This place was great. The pretzel is a must get and the chicken sandwich was decent. The “award winning burger” was alright at best. They have lots of deals throughout the week. Will be coming back for wing Monday !

Love this little neighborhood gem! Perfect for Bama fans or really anyone into a good Saturday watching football with friends, old and new. Highly recommend a stop if you’re in the area or looking for a nice spot to relax after walking around.
I saw the deep fried Oreos on the menu and had to try them. They were divine. The only reason I’m docking a star is because vanilla ice cream would have sealed the deal
There is a good vibe at Houndstooth Saloon. The food was innovative and I love the different names of the food. What struck me was the delicious seasoned fries, the fried pickles, and the sauces. Check it out!
Really fun southern bar!! The drinks and food are good! It is tight in here and gets way too crowded! Obviously there is a reason for it being so crowded all the time! It is a fun bar!! Love what they did for christmas! Griswolds! I love National Lampoons Christmas vacation! 🥳
Came to Houndstooth Saloon on a Tuesday to experience Taco Tuesday! Every week they offer 4 standard tacos + 1 specialty taco, each for $2. They really hit the spot and I will definitely be back! The staff was friendly and we had a really nice time. Only thing to note is the outdoor seating is below the L, so there is frequent trains going through. Not a big deal to me, but something to know!
Stumbled across this gem while waiting for Hutch down the road to give us a table. Long story short I am glad Hutch never called us back because this place was awesome. We happened to stumble across the Griswold Christmas pop-up which was hilariously well done. Beyond that the service was fast and friendly with delicious brunch foods to boot. Don't bother waiting for Hutch, come here instead.
Amazing food, decour and staff!! Best Christmas display for National Lampoon Christmas Vacation.
Great southern food, grits and turkey leg some of the best I've had in a while.

Yaas!! I love this place. The music, the vibe & the people watching are all 100%. Check this place out as well before a cubbies game & grab a bite to eat. I recommend the chicken sandwich! 😋
If you love Alabama football, this is the place for you! Amazing food, great people and a nice Southern feel...in Chicago!
Located very close to Wiggley, we found the place walking around before an evening game. Super charming from the outside, located beside the raised train line.
We are very glad we stopped in. Everything about the Saloon screens pride of owner ship. Clean, fresh food, attentive staff and an awesome atmosphere. TV'S everyone so you can always see the game. Very cool outdoor patio.
Menu is creative, pub food with a bit of a southern twist I would say. Our pulled sandwiches were plentiful and delicious. the came out fast and put together with that little bit of care. The house seasoned fries are amazing. They also have a great selection of local beer. Served ice cold.
We got speaking with one of the partners John, super great guy. He shared stories of Chicago, Wiggleville and his bar. It made the experience that much better. We left feeling like we had run into a friend. If I lived in Chicago, this would be my local.
We really hope to make it back someday soon. 600+ miles is a little far to drive for a lunch, but this place is almost worth it.
We wish you guys all the success in the world.
Lots of love

Our waitress was excellent and helpful. She made some great choices during our visit. The Griswold idea was so much fun. I only found 6 of the 10 hidden squirrels. I was surprised how much more room in the back area there was. The wings and fries were yummy!
Food was alright, I def don’t recommend adding chicken to your salad unless you want to be annoyed. I don’t want to be a karen but I paid $4 for this?
