I love their pies . When I became a vegan i thought I'll never get to taste their pies anymore. Fortunately, I was wrong. They make vegan pies too.. Yay!!! I decided to order one for my grandmother and father. We have a tradition that we'll hang out in kitchen drinking coffee & enjoying a pie. I wanted to keep the tradition alive. My father loved it!! He said " it taste too good to be a vegan pie" lol. My grandmother replied." This pie reminds me of your great grandmothers pie I thank Harold & his wife for making this moment special Yesterday, I came back to buy another one. I love their pies. Make a fat man happy. Sent my son and his new bride back to Philly today with full and satisfied bellies compliments of lunch at Jimmy Jamm! We enjoyed a loaded sweet potato, the sweet potato stew, and a steak sandwich on sweet potato bread. We were stuffed with all that sweet potato goodness, so we got our dessert to go: A sweet potato pie and a pint of sweet potato ice cream! And I've already placed an order for another pie and a sweet potato pound cake for our Christmas table! Everyone at Jimmy Jamm's was so kind, friendly and helpful. It was our first visit so we had lots of questions, which they patiently and happily answered. They even offered us samples. What a sweet treat of a find on Chicago's south side!

Oh my goodness! This place is absolutely delicious! My boyfriend's recently told me about this place told me he used to come with his family. I must say best recommendation I've had in a while. Stuffed sweet potatoes are mouth watering. They are very filling even though it's so good and you don't want to stop eating it. Great even to take home and eat later as left overs. Everyone there is so friendly which makes it just that much more enjoyable! You won't go wrong by stopping by and trying something. everything they have is amazing.
I love the loaded sweet potato it is soooooo good, I have tried the chicken, steak and my favorite vegetable loaded sweet potato. They have sweet potato bread also and some great dessert options. The red velvet cupcakes and the sweet potato pie with banana cream on top is unbelievably delicious it's so fresh.

Not only is the food killer but the whole place makes you feel warm and cozy the minute you step in. Jimmy himself is a sweetheart and is happy to make a suggestion if you're new. This place is also great to dine in or take out. Try a slice of their best seller- sweet potato pie with honey cream frosting. Then, buy a whole pie to take home later! Seriously, it's that good. Next time, I'm coming back to try their lunch/dinner options which are also made with fresh sweet potatoes.
I can't get past the loaded sweet potato with chicken. Everything I've tasted there has been delicious. The turkey sandwich with sweet potato bread is exquisite. If they were closer to my house I'd be in trouble.

Jimmy Jam Sweet Potato Pie is a bakery with great coffee. It is located on 95th Street near the Metra. In addition to the coffee try the Sweet Potato baked goods. You will be wowed. I recently visited this place with friend from out of town. I had the sweet potato cobbler. This was my first time trying this amazing delicious dessert. I will be back to try the non-dairy sweet potato ice cream.

I decided to try out Jimmy Jamm because I would pass by and always see customers. I tried the sweet potato cobbler and parfait and OMG both were the best thing I have ever tasted. I will definitely return and recommend to friends.
