This was a good Chinese restaurant, kind of small inside but there is seating. Service was typically meh but the food was great. We were a group of 4 so we tried a lot of items. We ordered sliced marinated beef, lamb soup, biang biang noodles, cumin lamb flatbread, cumin beef flatbread, lamb skewer, noodles with tomato and egg sauce. They were all 5/5 in my book. Flavor was all there. Dishes were savory and delish. Portions were just right, no complaints. Prices are fair. No we did not get any food poisoning.

The atmosphere was like you walk into Chinese culture! Staff greeting me as u walked in. And I was offered ice water or hot tea. I choose hot tea; I received the most robust, delightful, fragrant Jasmine tea. I knew it was Jasmine because I have the Jasmine Young living essential oil at home. Order: I had Biang Biang Noodle number 60, 3 Tapas and Cumin lamb Flatbread. The ingredients are vibrant and decedent. Noodles handmade and not over cooked. This restaurant also validates parking. The best Authentic Chinese food I've ever had. Being honest, growing up on Americanized Chinese food. I still can't get over the tea. I'll be back forever!!

Really good taste!!! No public restrooms, I ordered the pork potstickers, there is fresh spices inside, very good. Ordered #91 stir fried cold noodle with the beef. The beef is close to a roast beef texture sliced thinly. The noodles were a bit too floppy for my liking but honestly the flavor is there, maybe someone was training in the kitchen and left the noodles soaking too long.

Came here 3 times in a week during travel. Very small restaurant and can get super busy. But the food is authentic, their noodles are really good. Most dishes has strong flavors, like the BianBian noodle and their braised lamb chop. But other noodles are actually not so heavy on sauce, instead you can taste the original flavor of the food itseld. The special thing is here everything taste like what they supposed to, instead all dishes taste a like. I think their cold green bean noodle (凉皮)and fried noodle (炒拉皮) are all very yummy. Their flat bread lamb soup and lamb soup noodles are white soup with plain taste. Their 羊杂汤 is also super tasty with strong lamb flavor.

I ordered biang biang noodles with wide hand pulled noodles. The noodles are soft and good but the soup lack beefy and spicy flavor. I wish they have soy sauce on the table but they don’t. Not thirsty after eating so that’s a good sign.

If you're looking for a heart warming noodle meal, look no further. Xian Cuisine is a great restaurant spot in the heart of Chicago Chinatown and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend the biang biang noodles!

We ate at the restaurant on a Thursday evening. Only one other party was there but should have been packed. The menu was amazing with items not usually seen. Prices were more than fair and every thing we ordered was perfect. Don't miss the egg drop soup!!

We come to China Town once in a while for a certain cravings, but our first experience with this place is actually with its location at Naperville. Comparatively speaking the China Town location is much smaller in size and menu offerings. But the food quality is about the same. I am not sure what all these 5 star reviews are all about, the food here is 4 stars at the best. The 5 stars are for the hand made noodles and maybe the pot stickers. Everything else is just middle of the road for me. The flat bread is ok, it is more less like a stuffed gordita. I actually prefer the Cubano over this flat bread for the texture. The ZhaJiang noodle taste is a little on the light side but perfect hand made noodles. The BiangBiang noodle taste is right on but there are not enough ingredients to match its $13 price tag (in China Town). We didn't try the skewers but I think the other specialized skewer restaurants in China Town probably have more to offer. One thing I can say, the service is super fast and all of food came up within 10 mins back to back.

This place needs more attention. Their flat bread sandwiches (rou jia mo) is delicious. Bread is perfect. If you’re familiar with mainland Chinese food you’ll find these items on the streets of Beijing in the morning rush as people are off to work. Taste just like I remembered 10 years ago. The hand pulled noodles are yummy as well. There most definitely is a difference in fresh noodles over dried packaged ones. The lamb skewers are more meatier than other Chinatown locations. Staff is your typical Chinese Place, so don’t be a Karen and just enjoy the food!

It may look like a humble, hole-in-the-wall spot on the outside, but the food is absolutely incredible. I haven't had the chance to enjoy the wonders of traditional Xi'an cuisine in such a long time, but Xi'an Cuisine really brought back so many childhood memories. I tried their vegetable and refreshing liangpi / cold noodles, and they were both delicious and, as the name implies, perfectly refreshing and the best possible meal for a hot summer day. The texture of the normal liangpi was slightly better (the vegetable ones were a bit mushier than a traditional liangpi), but both were incredible. They mixed the sauces wonderfully, with a great balance of the richness of the sesame, acidity from the black vinegar, and slight kick of the chili oil. My parents also tried out their lamb skewers and lamb intestine paomo (羊杂泡馍), and absolutely loved them!! My dad even said that their lamb skewers were some of the best he's had in the United States. And, to make things even better, everything is incredibly affordable with phenomenal portion sizes. You'll definitely leave Xi'an Cuisine feeling full and satisfied!! I can't wait to come back to Chicago Chinatown just to visit this spot again.

It’s one of my favorite places in Chinatown. Love the vege flat bread, loads of veges! So filling! The pork bone soup is hearty. It comes with clear glass noodles and so vegetables. They always serve it super hot, very satisfying though. My friends love their lamb dishes. Their price is awesome! I paid 10 including tip and tax for dinner! Highly recommended!

Yummy! There are certain dishes that this restaurant does very well, and I suggest you stick with ordering those. 1. Cumin lamb flatbread (ask for added cilantro +/- jalapeños) 2. #53 on the menu, the hand pulled noodle dish, + add lamb for a small extra cost. The value is very good! We ordered 4 items to share between 2 people and the total cost was only $25 before tax. One thing to note is that the service can be a tad slow due to there only being 1 lady who services the entire dining room, but given the number of customers she is juggling, it is actually remarkable how fast she moves.

The noodles dishes here are great. They have really good chili oil to go alongside them as well. I've tried the Biang Biang noodles and Dan Dan Noodles, and they were both amazing. The flatbreads are about 3.5/5. The meat is flavorful and well seasoned, but the dish can be quite dry.

I gave 5 stars but obviously I can only speak to what I had and the person I was with got the same thing as me. We got the (Dan Dan?) flat noodles with lamb. Hand pulled noodles right before you get served. Simply amazing. We also got the hambao (flat bread bun with ground lamb). Both were soooo good. I have lived in Taiwan and Thailand and San Francisco. Their noodles, are as good as any I have had, at this price point or any price for that matter. The person I was with though maybe not as picky about Chinese food as me said she had never had noodles that good (I think she was refering to Asian noodles only). Whatever, this place is as good as the social media hype.

Cold noodle is tender but the sauce is on the light side. Not much flavor. Lamb roujiamo is so good. Especially the bun. Overall not very authentic but tasted good.
