Garlic butter seasoning AMAZING! And don’t forget their ice cream! YUM. So glad I decided to try this place out. I went for my bday with family and the service was great everyone was so nice and they even offered to put my cake in their fridge. Highly recommend this place.

Loved it! Had Combo 1 with garlic butter sauce and added mussels. Garlic noodles and Thai wings for appetizers. Dessert was WOW! Had popsicles at Milk & Wood. I totally recommend! May be dangerous as it's just walking distance from home! Haha!

OH MY GOD! This place was so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back. The king crab legs were so good. I wish I had room in my belly for a popsicle afterward, but we ate so much I couldn’t have one. I will definitely be back.

Out of all the boiling seafood places in the Chicagoland area I have tried, this BY FAR is my favorite and honestly, I want to go back over and over again. Great seafood. Great garlic noodles. Great Ice Cream Bars (by Milk and Wood). My birthday dinner this year was very enjoyable and satisfying.

I actually tried this place first through Grubhub. Not sure what I was getting myself into. Boy am I glad I did. I later took my aunt here for our birthday celebration. The server was so sweet and the food was delicious as it usually is. I always order from here when I'm feeling like treating my self to a good bag of crawfish!

First time at this place and been wanting to track down a good seafood boil place in Chicago for a while! Firstly, the absolute biggest surprise was definitely the fish tacos. Super flavourful and only $5 for 3! As for the seafood boil, I thought their prices were very reasonable and the seafood was very fresh. Overall a great experience but my only critique would be that they added more sauce to the boil bag itself. I found it a little bland and there wasn’t enough sauce in the bag and under the shells. Once I ordered extra sauce, it tasted much better and way more delectable! Would definitely come back but will continue to try some other seafood boil places as well

Checked out Crab Pad and had a super fun dining experience. Love the seafood boil and I believe this is one of the best seafood boil Chicago. The food is a total flavor fest and the portion sizes are good and easily shareable. Its a BYOB spot and I love their build your own popsicles. We tried the chocolate and peach flavors and liked them both . We had the apps from the happy hour menu and got the shrimp combo, wings, garlic noodles, spicy Cajun fries, nacho fries, loaded tots, Thai chicken rice plate, popsicle, and tea lemonade. Each of the items we got was a 10/10! The service is a great and the food arrives quickly. Highly recommend.

Must-go seafood boil 🦀 🦞 in Logan Square! @crabpad Theresa opened this spot in 2016 after craving some Cajun crab. But she couldn't find any good spots so she opened one herself! This is Vietnamese inspired Cajun, with locally sourced Cajun + buttery garlicky goodness 🧈 We got the Snow crab legs + crawfish + large shrimp. Comes with green beans, potatoes, and corn 🌽 ☝️Pro tip 1: add garlic noodles! Soaks up the bomb sauce for a delicious meal ☝️Pro tip 2: get the shrimp head-on, they use the really tasty large shrimp that has roe in it too, which makes the sauce even more flavorful ☝️Pro tip 3: bring your own booze! They have a delicious mixer , I loved the peach and mango ones! They have strawberry too. I loved them as is, but you can add tequila , gin, or vodka etc ☝️Pro tip 4: GET THEIR POPSICLES. The cookies and cream was DELICIOUS and you can mix and add different toppings Don't forget their apps, got the spicy hot Cheeto elotes+ hot Cheeto Mac & cheese balls Note Street parking available! Always check out their site, they have lots of deals happening all the time, like the fathers day one coming up

The servise, the food, and atmosphere was 100%. It was my friends and I’s first time and the beautiful person (sorry I forgot your name) helped us make the best choices and even gave us a discount. We tried the mix boil sea food 😋 my friends also had fried calamari all was perfect. What I loved most was how warm and welcoming the place and people were. Thank for a great experience. Next time I am in Chicago, I’ll make it a point to visit🫂💕…. 5star worth FS.

We were looking for some place to hang dinner and saw the cute little sign. The staff are all very nice and patient.. yes I'm the one that spilled the cup twice. 😭😭 Very flavorful seafood (shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, potatoes and corn). Appetizers are Also priced very reasonably. Chicken tenders are nice soft and juicy, the elote is very well seasoned.

Easy and Casual atmosphere. Very good seafood that is cooked to perfection. Casual dining. Family friendly. They give you an apron so you don't get dirty and they have all the tools for cracking your crabs. Pricey but worth it!

Had a taste for some messy crab boil. Ordered for pickup. Got the whole shrimp, snow crab, mozzarella sticks, and lemon pepper wings. Everything was so damn delicious. We got the spicy garlic sauce for the boil. So flavorful. Dipped the white rice on the leftover sauce. That’s how good the sauce was. Will definitely come back.

The Crab Pad offers seafood shaken, cooked and served in a bag. What's not to like? There are a lot of menu options for what you'd like in your bag of seafood including head on or off shrimp, snow crab legs, and lobster tails as well as options on sauce, heat level and sides. You're invited to make a mess and can even eat off of the paper lined tables. I believe the ice cream bars are handmade with a selection of flavors and toppings. There is a selection of non-alcoholic beverages available. They bring you markers and invite you to sign your name or leave a message on the walls and benches. Shout out to Emmecio, our server, who was very friendly and helpful. Paid street parking is available.

🦞🍤🦀Delicious, decently priced, seafood platter and a pleasant friendly service makes the The Crab Pad in Logan Square a must try for seafood lovers. The interiors and music add to the experience. Overall, had a great time.

Not only the BEST CRAB in CHICAGO, but one of my favorite seafood places period. Raised on crab with family along the coast, so I’ve always tempered my expectations for real crab in Chicago. This completely blew away my expectations - delicious!! Made me feel like I was back home and better. Also, VERY REASONABLE PRICES. Held off coming here too long cause I assumed great seafood in Chicago had to be overpriced - not here. Can have an amazing meal for under $20. Lastly, outstanding service from Nena - especially appreciated her recommendation of the fish and shrimp basket.

Omg, I went here twice this month. What a fun, delicious restaurant. The food was hot, mouth watering, and in good amounts as well. You can expect to get a little messy but they provide a bib, napkins, gloves if you want them. Just enjoy it, it's part of the experience. I tried the shrimp, mussels, cornbread, crab Rangoon, my wife had the snow crab with hers. It was all fantastic. I want to take everyone here. So fun.

The crab pad is amazing! The food was so damn delicious but the price is bit expensive but it's worth it. Me and my boyfriend went there yesterday last night, it's our first time coming in and the food smells the bomb, they give us the apron which is cool, the service was quick, and the food is the explosion of deliciousness! I would recommend come there if your love crabs, and we would come by again at any day anytime!

We went to the Crab Pad for a special event. It's a Cajun style Seafood boil restaurant where you get down and dirty with your food. (Yes, that means you eat with your hands). It was great to share a table with my old friends and make new ones. We started off with a choice of limeade juice boxes of several flavors from the Crab Pad, which were then made into adults only juice boxes by adding a shot of rum or vodka. The restaurant is BYOB, this was special just for us. We had our own long table, and when they started to pile food on the table, no one knew just what to expect next. The rice, corn, potatoes, sausage and green beans were plentiful and more than enough for everyone. We each received a bag full of shrimp, crawfish and crab legs, with your choice of mild, medium or spicy seasonings. You will be able to choose your own combination from the menu. At the end of the evening, we were treated to ice cream bars from Milk & Wood. You pick a flavorful bar, drizzle it with syrup and top it off with your choice of 9 different toppings. There were some very unusual flavors, but, I had the mint oreo bar. This was a wonderful dessert, and will be a great treat on a warm weather day. Theresa the owner was a wonderful hostess and made sure everyone had enough food and drinks flowing throughout the evening. I highly recommend the Crab Pad, the food is delicious, prices are reasonable, the owner is awesome and the service can't be beat. Yes, we got crabs in Chicago at the Crab Pad and they were delicious, and we also got shrimp and crawfish too!

Theresa and her team at the The Crab Pad are wonderful. I cannot speak more highly of the quality of service and food provided. We recently partnered with The Crab Pad to host a resident event (seafood boil) and our tenants loved it! If you’re looking for delicious Cajun-style seafood, look no further!

Ate here this evening with my partner and had a great dinner, crab, shrimp, lobster, sausage, noodles, the list goes on and everything was incredibly tasty. Main highlight was our server (who I unfortunately didn't grab the name of) who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and full of conversation. Popsicles were also ridiculously tasty, more so than I expected.
