I love this place. Great choice if you have a mix of meat eaters and vegetarians. Everyone will leave full and happy.
Surprisingly excellent vegetarian food for a meat-centric menu. Their fake meat is hands down the best I've ever had anywhere.
Bonus: They have some vintage game consoles in the back and last time I was there I played Dr. Mario for the first time since 1991.
Every visit has been excellent. Friendly, welcoming staff and patrons too.
Food is SO GOOD, reasonably priced, with good vibes coming from the kitchen also.
Melissa was our bartender tonight and she was the absolute best. Bar was full with just her as the front of house person— yet she owned the space with an incredible demeanor and it never felt like we had to wait for anything.
A neighborhood staple! Check it out.
Good food! Lots of vegetarian options too. Local non-abv bev options too.
Delicious! So hard to find a good doner or currywurst place in Chicago but dang! Whether you get it from there or their food truck it has always been amazing!!

If you want to feel like your ideas on a great bar don't matter at all you should definitely come here. The bar staff held incredibly low standards to the point where I didn't care just as much as them. I will definitely come here again to feel like my existence is absolutely worthless.
Place was good, not great. Had a tough time hearing my friends over the music. They did have a small drink menu, which was nice. Not alot of bars in Chicago actually have menus, which is frustrating when you don't want the same old drinks. Bartender was super friendly, she looked like she was not really having it though when people wanted ask questions. She did however make us a special drink that was super tasty.
Overall it is a rustic bar, with a kitchen. Its a nice place to go to after leaving ignite gaming. Prices on drinks were okay. But the area is odd, and there's not a whole lot going on.
They have a food truck that frequents events. My partner loves their curry wurst fries. They have gluten free and vegan options. Pretty good, especially if you like sausage and curry. Apparently a German thing?
Fantastic grub and a selection of tap handles that can't be beat. Plenty of hard to find bottles, too. I loved the feel of this place, like my big brother's basement back in 1984.
Absolutely phenomenal. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Literally the Döner kebab was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I got mine over fries. Delicious.
A perfect neighborhood bar for all you outcasts. Events for all the things that got you picked on in high school. Goth nights, Heavy Metal nights and weekly DnD games every Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7:30. Cold beer, great food and good vibes. Its my perfect bar.
