A fantastic, classic Chicago German bar with delicious homemade German food. A relaxed and private beer garden is great for summer. Fantastic German brew selection! PROST

Nice restaurant with a great patio. Good to bring kids over (even if they don't have a proper kids menu, it's easy to find something they like). The beers choice is great, very diverse and the staff is nice. The food is classic German food, not over the top but nice. They forgot part of our sides that was supposed to come with our dish but brought it in a box to bring back home.

Stumbled upon this place on the way to dinner elsewhere and decided to call an audible to try Resi's and I'm glad we did! Great list of draft and bottled German beers, wonderful food and a cute little beer garden. No one else here on a Wednesday and I don't know why. If I lived up here I would be over here having a beer every other day. The bartender would be in my Covid circle. Can't wait to come back to try the Russian eggs!

Das essen war gut! The food was really good. There were four of us and we each had something different and the were all delicious. The waitress was on top of things and was always there to fill our water or bring us another beer. The Bar itself is just that, it's an older bar, lots of memorabilia hanging but it was nice too. We enjoyed our meal, with 4 meals and steins of beer our total came to about $97.00. We will go back.

The absolute best authentic German restaurant bar. A full German menu with the highest quality and fresh made food. They have the most wonderful authentic German beer selection of any place I've been. The service is fast, extremely courteous, and the bartenders are hot!

One of the last of the dying breeds. Wonderfull 'Old Country" German food made by Inga Stober who has had this place for over 50yrs. Inga and Richard (mother and Son) own and operate "The Stube (schtube)" . Inga, 86yrs young, still cooks all the food while Richard runs the front. There are over 150 different imported beers. On tap there are fantastic imports such as: Ayinger Jahrhundert, Bayeriche Brauerei Kaiserslautern, Spaten Oktoberfest, and many more (see pic of the bier list) plus tons of bottles and cans. Great place for dinner or to just come in to hang with friends or co workers, or just to get Schtubed! .........Come and love 'The Stube' and it will love you back!
