The best bim bim bop in the city, in my opinion! The ban chan are always delicious, fresh and a little different every time we go, which is a huge plus, because after all variety is the spice of life. The service is pleasant, attentive and prompt as well, especially compared to other Korean establishments I have been to! We usually have the same server every time we go and she remembers us and is very kind. She also remembers that we almost always order bim bim bop, since we have become bim bim bop fiends!

I eat here for my birthday every year. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. We usually roll deep, with 12-15 people, and the staff still manage to make our experience a postitive and easygoing one. 11/10 would recommend. Especially for big groups.

It's so good- It's magical. There's a bbq pit dab smack in the middle of the table. It can't get any better than that and you won't be able to walk out smelling the same way you came in. You will smell like bbq pit; trust me, not as bad as smelling like when you walk out of a Subway.

Our new favorite Korean BBQ spot. The food is awesome and the service is top notch. Love the marinade on the galbi.. I can actually taste the wine from the marinade in the meat when it's cooked.. so yummy.. And I love the fact that they will cook for you by your table so all I have to do is focus on eating. Usually, I do all of the cooking and eat the least.. We definitely will be back and we'll be bringing more friends with us.

Service was wonderful! Food was fantastic!! Owner was a sweetheart, and gave us a second bottle of Makegolli free. Will be going back next time I'm in Chicago.

Service was good, lots of random food sides brought out on the table that we didn't know what to do with. Drinks were great.

The BEST Korean Restaurant in Chicago! For the past two years that I have been in Chicago, I was on a hunt to find the best Korean BBQ place and Gogi takes first place! PROS: 1. Nice staff - the owner, his wife and the entire staff provides great customer service and is very efficient 2. Food - IT IS THE BEST KOREAN BBQ IN CHICAGO. I suggest ordering the samgyeopsal, the pork is thick and juicy. 3. Price - This is a $$ kind of restaurant but you are also getting your money’s worth! 4. Ambiance - on the outside it might look like a small place but when you go in the restaurant, the place is clean and quite large too. I would recommend this place and I will come back here again and again and again!

Authentic korean restaurant with authemtic food. The place feels like they wanted to have too much on same place - korean seatings (on floor) and chairs, bar, a screen and newest kpop on that. Doesn't mix really well. Otherwise pleasant and love the bell.
