My second stop at a Sip & Savor franchise visit. I admit this branch also has a nice pleasant atmosphere too. The hot chocolate was good here too. This time I had the croissant with butter. I swear that butter was as hard as a brick. Dude must have given it to me straight from the freezer. That plastic knife barely helped. I would like it if it could be arranged to have the butter heated up like that croissant because that butter never did spread on it. Some places melt the butter on for you so I don't see no excuse why this place can't do it either. Other than that unpleasant situation with the butter overall this is a nice place.
Fantastic coffee shop! Overall, this place is well run. The baristas are attentive to the drinks and the environment of place which makes it a welcoming and friendly. Cleanliness is spot on! I enjoy coming here when I have the chance.
I was out running errands and decided to drop by Sip and Savor 53rd for some ice coffee and to recharge my phone and catch up on some reading. My soy latte with hazel nut was great. An employee came by to wipe down counter next to me so I appreciated how clean they kept it.
I just returned to Chicago and had to visit Sip and Savor, one of my favorite places. I got a delicious Caramel Royal Latte with oat milk. I came back for the Mocha Bama (The POTUS Hookup). It's delicious iced!!!
I really love this place, it's a great atmosphere. I love their Crossants with Cheese and Sausage but sometimes I do feel unwelcomed there which I don't know why. I want to keep come back here but as long as they appreciate for having me as their regular customer. I don't want to have to find another Coffee shop to go again where I feel more welcomed.
I come here fairly often. The coffee is usually quite good--maybe depending on who is making it, but most of the baristas seem to know what they're doing. There are lots of fun and creative espresso drinks (the mochas are great). I do wish they didn't use Styrofoam cups. The food options I have tried are not remarkable.
I was skeptical that the rewards program/app would be completely functional, but it is! The prices seem a bit high at first glance but they aren't too crazy, because tax is included.
When it's busy, the line can get slightly crowded and disorganized. There is no good space to wait for your order, but it seems like they're working on this. IMO the best place to get coffee in East Hyde Park.
I love this neighborhood coffee shop. Always great fresh coffee and tempting bakery items! Love the views and music is always on point! Staff is also friendly!
