Their tamales are great... moist, large, and with creative fillings like quinoa and eggplant, which I never see other places. You definitely don't see this kind of variety for Oaxacan style tamales, that's for sure!
They also sell mole by the jar. The prices are not modest but not expensive either, and I am sure their rent is hefty, so hey I understand. I love this place and wish people would show their show-stopper tamales more love!
First time trying the tamales from here and they were delicious! Great portion, very moist, and lots of flavor. Can't wait to purchase again!
I tried Yvolina's for the first time last week and I can not wait to go back! Their tamale dinners are incredible and the ingredients are so fresh, from the rice and beans to the tamale itself. I got Chicken and Green Mole for my boyfriend and Tofu & Green tomatillo for myself. Edgar at the front helped me out with his recommendations on what to get. He was patient and had great customer service from beginning to end!
I have been craving vegan tamales and these were amazing! I'll be back here anytime I'm in Pilsen! Highly recommended visiting this little spot
Amazing vegetarian and vegan tamales and if they were so good, I bet the meat lovers are going to love the meat ones. Be prepared to have leftovers, those tamales are enormous.
Best tamales I’ve had so far in the city. They’re more expensive, but they’re pretty huge. Mole is absolutely fantastic.
I wanted to take 20 tamales but only had 10 available thats how good it is. Best tamales in the usa. Im Mexican and i approve this message.
