Went to Henry's for the Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack National Whiskey Sour Day event. The entrance to Henry's is unassuming and ,therefore, easy to miss. Once inside, it is hard to forget Henry's. There is a large open bar with a great selection of cocktails as well as an extensive offering of beers. We had pretzels, chicken wings, potatoes, lots of sweets and special Jack Daniel's drinks. Happy Hour is from Tuesdays-Saturdays (5-8pm) $5 tallboys, $5 well drinks, and $6 wine by the glass! They have rotating DJ's starting at 9:00 pm. It's a casual and pleasant atmosphere, one where you can meet up with friends and enjoy drinks and conversation.

We had a blast from the time we entered until the time we left! Great vibe, music, dancing and drinks. Our bartender, Kristin was awesome!! She made our experience memorable, the perfect example of a bartender and customer service! This will definitely be a favorite place of mine whenever I'm in town!

Henry's is a great River North bar...restaurant...dance party. The have an extensive food menu comprised mainly of really unique sliders all for affordable prices. Their cocktail offerings are where I feel they shine though. They have so many really great options that I'd never think to order if they didn't have them on a menu for me. It's definitely more bar than restaurant and gets packed really quick. It's a really fun, vibrant place. Its dim, loud and very hip atmosphere make it a routine stop of mine when I am bouncing around the bars on Hubbard Street. My only complaint is they raised their cocktail prices closer to those of all of the other bars in the area. It used to be much cheaper and for that reason was my number one spot in River North. That being said, it's not ridiculously priced. Its increased prices are more in-line with everything else in the area, which doesn't stop me from coming back, but prevents it from being where I'd stay all night.

Very nice place, extremely sociable tenders and just good decent human beings. Great drinks too. Would recommend Suntory whiskey. Japanese stuff. It's more like a scotch. You won't be disappointed.

Really fun place! They have a bar & games on the upper level. My group had a blast playing giant jenga. They have a DJ and dancing in the basement. Only qualm was that they left all the lights on in the basement, which made dancing a little weird. But the water was free and the drinks weren't too overpriced!

Overall: Not a bad river north spot for some great happy hour specials or to let loose with friends. The good: Pretty great drink specials for happy hour. $5 for a two hearted tall boy is hard to pass up. The atmosphere is cool with unique paintings and old school "classics" on the TV (2 fast 2 furious? yes please!). Plenty of seating and room to relax. Good music and board games (didn't touch them, but I can appreciate) The not-so-good: Service was a little slow at times. It was probably better for my health, but she could've been faster on the drink refills. The chips and guac were good enough, but probably not worth the price. Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 8/10 Food: 7.5/10
