Hands down the best candied sweets around town. They could add a bit more in terms of portion sizes but that's probably because it's so good u want more. I wish they could make the parking bigger bc it's hard to find a spot. But overall very good food I'm going to do a vid review on the olace

What can I say? The mustard fried catfish is the best. The food is great and the customed service is on point. If you haven't tried the buffet you are definitely missing a treat.

When I come into the city on Sundays, I make it a point to come for a good home style "Sunday Dinner" what I enjoy just as much as the food is the service of the staff, I have never met such a group of pleasant and professional young folks such as these in any soul food establishment....
Attended a business meeting at BJ's on 5/23/17, and had the Smoked Chicken, Mac & Cheese and Green Beans! Delicious!! Service was Fantastic too! More than 1 cashier however was needed to take the orders----long line!
I went with my family for mother’s day, the day before. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty. I didn’t order the catfish but tasted some from my sister and it was nicely seasoned. Tasted great.
I hosted a meet & greet for Marcel Bright the next Cook County Commissioner for the 4th District and the service was excellent! Great staff who understands what customer service is all about!
Killer Catfish, Mustard & New Orleans style. Amazing sides, great service and the bread pudding is to die for. This is a must stop for true soul food.
I Had chicken tips sweet potato and Mac and cheese and a corn muffin my first time eating BJ's I definately enjoyed every last bite.

The variety of food is good. I love the mustard � catfish dinner with greens, dressing,and black eyed peas.
I enjoy the food and the big portions they serve.
Loved it. It was so much to choose from. Everthing i chose to get was good. Next time in Chicago a must go again.
