We had a great time floating down the river - absorbing sun, greenery & slow rolling water -in an inner tube - followed by a good lunch outside, where my son & I got to catch up with very longtime friends for hours & never once did the wai staff give us the feeling we had overstayed. An excellent value - and priceless time spent with my son & old friends along the Sacramento River with hawks circling, egrets watching & purple dragonflies breezing past.
Hubby and I needed to get out of the house. I wanted to check out Scotty's.

Food was good. Not really why one goes to Scotty's, though.
Wine was... not so good, but who cares?
In-house entertainment were the locals who were more than willing to talk all about insider Chico stuff. The colorful language and strongly opinions expressed made the bartender feel like he had more pressing things to do... in the back of the house.
This is a place for the locals. If you want to hang out with the insiders, it is a great place. Food is decent. Prices are right.
If you want super classy, don't go here.
If you want to hang out on a flyless deck, don't go here.
If you want four star service, or even three star service... don't hold your breath.
But if you want to sit and chill, and even eat a bit of comfort food as you put back a brew... this is the place.
It is what it is, folks. Don't expect more, and enjoy its uniqueness.
It is the best. Flowing river, smiling folks talking about this and that, just laughing and enjoying the simple pleasure of knowing all you had to do was drive out of town through the orchards and then watch the river with the water wands keeping you fresh.

This place was great, went for Bad Daddy's record release party and the patio was such a great atmosphere to enjoy some beer, food and great music. Waitresses were very nice and there was an overall laid back and friendly feel. Will definitely be back!

Food was Mmmm so good! Waitress was very attentive and friendly! My BLT was exactly how I asked for it and love it! My daughters French dip, was perfect as well! Thank you for never disappointing!

Rusteak and homie. The food was awesome the service was great. The servers or quite attentive. Kind of makes you feel like you're on a tropical island overlooking the river. The owner John is a real hoot. You can rent tubes for $4 and float down the river and have an awesome time. I will be returning. Thank Scotty's landing it was awesome. Definitely a thumbs up 😊
Great place to chill eat and fish. Weekends they have bands of all sorts. Winter time ya can't get ta Scotty's. Due to the weather roads get closed cause the water covers the roads. If ya aint been ta Scotty's Boat Landing ya really need ta check it out.

My favorite "dive joint"! A great place to hang out on the Sacramento River. Descent food & good people. A perfect destination for a motorcycle or hot rod trip.
We celebrated my son's 50th birthday so we had a large group. We had been to the lake so arrived at 7:30. Even though they usually close at 8 the entire staff were happy to serve us.
The food was excellent. I had fish & chips. The fried fish was the tastiest I have had. My son had French Dip & he said It was the best he ever had too. Everyone loved their food & how welcome we felt.
Definitely making this restaurant a regular in my restaurant adventures.
