Kenning's Circle K is one third of the culinary trifecta of the Westside. Walking into Kenning's is like a time warp back to 1976! This is our go to place for ribs on the Westside as they are always cooked to perfection. The servers are very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. They have an excellent selection of beer and tasty cocktails. The key lime pie we had for dessert had an excellent presentation and an authentic key lime taste. I wish they would bring back the summer cookout for Memorial Day a the Fourth of July.

My husband & l had dinner there where is so far from the end of east side where we live. However, we were satisfied the food that we ordered the 10 oz rib eye steak. They served the fresh spinach salad with mesh potatoes. The steak was very tender & great taste. It seemed very popular neighbor restaurant that when we visited at around 5:00pm on Saturday, already no seats.

It was PACKED on Saturday night when we went. Our first time eating there. Because it was so very busy it took quite a while to get our steaks, but it was well worth the wait! We were seated immediately, given drinks and bread. The ambience was cozy and homey. Busy busy busy. I would recommend it highly, and will happily go there again.

First experience. Friendly welcoming staff. Great pour of Woodford at the bar as I waited for my dinner party to arrive. I ordered the build your own combination plate with bbq rib and prime rib as my two meat choices, the garden salad and the twice baked potato. Great Grub! A little birdie told me that the Owner is retiring and the restaurant will be closing January 31st, 2023. Get there while you can!

Definitely a 5 star restaurant...and a gem on the west side. The staff is wonderful and friendly and the food is great. The hot slaw is the best ever and the appetizer sauteed mushrooms are out of this world. Oh and the turtle soup is the best ever also! My husband and I have met some very nice people here and enjoy going often to meet up with them! Recommend 100%!

Mine and my husband's first time and we will definitely return. I had the ribs and he had the Kentucky hot brown which he said is the best meal he's ever had. We got the frozen pb pie to go and that was excellent. Service was great and there was no wait on a Saturday night. Highly recommend!

This was my 1st visit and I was really impressed by the service. They have nice daily specials too. I hear that this restaurant is a West side staple that will be closing December 31st. Make sure you check them out before you no longer have a chance!

We rented the back room for a family members birthday, the staff was fantastic, they cooked for about 40ish of us, the food came out of the kitchen quickly, my steak was cooked perfectly medium, they offered us an option of steak, ribs, grilled chicken or fish, everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. The staff worked so efficiently together, there was 4 staff, two women waiting on us for food and drinks, then two men cooked our food and stayed in the kitchen. Everyone was waited on very quickly, it was such a beautiful evening. We brought our own decorations and cake, but it was a perfect setting for us on May 7th. I would highly recommend this venue for any type of event you have coming up!

Do not let the outside fool you. This is a great place to go for Sat Date night. Great service, great food and quiet enough to enjoy your date. I had the Lasagna and wife had the filet. Both were very good and all sides and appetizer (coconut shrimp) were cooked perfectly. Service was over the top with Carrie as our waitress. She was on the spot with everything and made the night flow well. I highly recommend this place. Price is slightly lower than I would expect to pay for a meal like this. It is a good deal.

I have ate here three times now. I drive from Indiana to this Restaurant and it is well worth it!! I have had the Prime Rib all three times and it is DELICIOUS! The salad dressing, for the most part are all homemade and very tasty! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone or everyone. Great food!!!

First time eating here today, I have to say the ribs were awesome! The service was great, right down to the recommendations. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant especially if you're looking for a casual place to eat with great comfort food. My wife and I will return!

An absolute gem on the west side! Great place to get the best ribs! All the menu items are great but I just cannot pass up the ribs when we go there! Rick and Bev work hard to make this restaurant great which makes it one of our favorites!

Oh my goodness took my mother for her 62nd birthday she got a full rack of ribs, I got the chicken and prime rib, my wife got the pork chop. I personally took a bite of each piece of meat each one was equally as amazing but the ribs... the ribs... were amazing !!!!! I cannot believe that I can call myself a westsider and it's taking me so long to come to this restaurant I cannot wait to come back and I regret that I've waited so long. Also the service was phenomenal I usually don't leave reviews like this but the service was TRULEY phenomenal even after sitting down and looking around to the other customers and how the servers would seat the people and take their coats and be so kind and courteous to everyone that walked in no matter the circumstance.

Ordered dinner for my wife and myself shortly before closing. Staff was being nice as usual in both ordering and during pickup. We had the ribs and a ribeye. Both were awesome, as is everything we have ever had at Kenning's. I tried the soup if the day, which was a homemade gumbo and it was outstanding! If you're looking for a consistently delicious meal, awesome service from the owner to the service staff and great value for your money, Kenning's is a can't miss.

This place isn't for everyone. If you are the type looking for locally sourced menu items (farm to table), that's not Kennings. If you want to support a local business where the employees work hard to give you a great meal and positive experience, then this is it. It's loaded with history and definitely unique to the West Side of Cincinnati. But there are a few things that make it pretty special. Their prime rib is one of their most popular dishes and it's really terrific. They are also known for their ribs. I would suggest sticking to the 'meat and potatoes' type entrees on the menu - the classics. They had a great fish sandwich, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Dated inside, sure? But that's the charm of it all. If you're looking for a healthier menu, this might not be the place. Nearly everything is prepared with butter, but you can get steamed broccoli or asparagus (uncharge) as a side dish with an entree if you are trying to lighten things up. We have been here several times with friends who have been dining here for years. The service is usually very friendly and efficient too.

I went here for a rehearsal dinner. Long time driver by first time stopping in.. The food was impeccable! The dessert was delicious, the service was stupendous. I can not believe I had never been in there before. If you are looking for a reasonably priced home cooked meal, this is definitely the place to stop. The food had my tastebuds doing flips. The atmosphere is quaint and child friendly. I will be stopping back for some homemade dessert and ribs! Yum
