Great spot for a drink and lunch. Classic “bar and grill” atmosphere. Lots of history. Friendly staff. Lots of regulars, so that’s a great sign.
Menu is extensive but not too large. Everything I have had has been tasty.
I tend to stop in when I need to use the laundromat across the street. Perfect distraction from necessary chores.
I love sightseeing in Mt. Adam’s. The views from up there are like none other in the city. Anywho, I worked up an appetite while on my stroll and we stopped here for a quick bite. My friend didn’t have the same experience as I did because her order was a lil off. However, as you see I’ve given it 4 stars for the great, food, service and atmosphere. I’m not a huge fan of taxidermy as I love animals.
For lunch I had a really well made Long Island iced tea. We had the cheese raviolis for an appetizer and I had the Caesar salad with Salmon. Needless to say I was a full happy camper leaving. 😜

The interior was really cool. It was like shenanigans (super trooper reference) but upscale and class. There is a ton of cool stuff to look at. The food came out quickly and wasn't piping hot like it had been microwaved. I had an old fashion, and although it was muddled, it was pretty good. The prices on some of the dishes seemed a little high. If you are into French fries, they have very crispy fries.
A true hidden gem in Cincinnati. A friend took me for lunch and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, casual with a unique décor that I absolutely loved. Check out the wall of celebrities that have performed at the Playhouse and their photos and autographs are on the wall. Way cool. The service was excellent, the food was fresh and very good. I had the amazing tuna sandwich with sweet potato fries and I have to say it was excellent. You have to get out and visit this place, I know I will be back!
Staple Mount Adam’s bar and grill with some of the coolest staff around. Everyone is always friendly and attentive and the food is on point. One of the top burgers in town — simple, classic and not too fussy. Super cozy vibe and always a joy to visit whether for takeout, dine in or just a drink you can find your people here.
Menu could use an update. Seen to be short staffed. Took about 15 minutes to get seated (not a crowded time) and it took what seemed like a very long time to get our food.
Fried ravioli was very popular with my friends. Garden salad and Cesar salad were small for price. Food was good though
Perfect Spot for us to dine and walk over to The Playhouse in the Park to see A Christmas Carol. Great service , drinks & food. Fun filled night .
It is an old fashion speak easy. Lots of collections and stain glass windows. Large food selection and beverages.
Desert is offered to complete the dinning experience. Will go back next time in Cincinnati. Parking garage half a block away.
Loved our lunch here and their specialty coffee and full bar options!
