Fantastic food and drink! Delicious burger, salad, chicken and my favorite the cheese plate!!! Olive tapenade bursting with flavor! We ended dinner with lovely espresso and a panna cotta dessert so creamy, light and delicious with chocolate wafer and a hint of lime..... Everyone there is friendly, our server attentive and knowledgeable😀We will be back! Thanks Pleasantry!

Started with the fried olives stuffed with Bleu cheese, and they were amazing! Crispy olives! Speaking of crispy, got the potatoes which they mashed just enough so every bite was super crispy! Those potatoes could be eaten any meal! Had the spring beans which had a lot of flavors running through. Entree was the chicken, which was also perfectly crispy as well! I guess I went with the crispy theme. Well, I ended with the chocolate torte with mint anglaise & pistachio brittle. You can guess how that tasted! Great cocktails and wine list + friendly & attentive staff.

I am a creature of habit and this place is my new favorite. Wonderful staff, not too crowded (for now!), great food. In summer, the outdoor patio in the morning cannot be beat.

Pleasant people and high quality food and drinks. The location has an authentic OTR interior design. You can watch the action in the open kitchen from your seat, or relax on the patio outside on a nice day. The staff and owners are welcoming and genuine. You can tell the whole team really cares about their product and the customers. Excellent location tucked in between Washington Park and Findlay Market on the hidden gem of a street, Pleasant Street. Great addition to the neighborhood. Can't wait for dinner service to start.

Excellent selection of wine and the cocktails were superb. The current menu is an absolute delight. Didn't have a reservation (went on Valentine's Day) and they managed to fit us in at the bar in no time which was awesome. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu, drinks, etc. One of my favorite spots to eat downtown!

Pleasantry is a delicious addition to the growing restaurant family in OTR. The menu is unlike anything downtown with items that may seem ordinary on the menu, but are jazzed up with unique flare. The vegetarian sandwich may be the best I have ever had and the potato salad is a simple yet decadent side. It opens soon for dinner will definitely be back to try some new creations and natural wines. As usual, Danny and Joanne have created another favorite spot.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at your establishment. The food was impeccable and included ricotta with toasted bread coated in garlic, sorghum, and fresh thyme. Our dinner included trout, lentils with mushrooms and chicken with whipped feta. Dessert was not a disappointment including great cocktails and wine. Thank you Lauren.

As a newb to Cincinnati I had been searching far and wide for "the spot" as a person that loves to spend some days during the week working away from the home or office. As a self proclaimed remote working curator, when I was exposed to Pleasantry recently I quickly new this place was perfect for the during day remote worker. Wifi is great, the coffee here is good, and the food is amazing. I had their burger for lunch and it was gone in minutes. The vibes are great and the music isn't too loud. The soundtrack includes Shakey Graves and Tune Yards so they know what's up! This place would be perfect for business meetings and with an outdoor area as well you can take calls if needed. Currently they have a few outlets, but get here early and you wont have a problem snagging one. Oh did I mention they also have high tops so you can have a standing work spot if you need be? Anyway, I'm sure they'll get sick of me popping a squat so often, but until then I'll be back often. I recommend you join me during the day to crank out some work with delicious treats and pleasant people around!

Outstanding creative fresh farm to table menu. Had the interesting fried olives-very tasty, peaches & beets and roasted cauliflower dishes. Great service, in & outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, accessible rest area and current safety protocol.

My wife and I came for Sunday Brunch and had a great experience. We took a look at the menu before coming so price wasn’t a surprise like some other reviews mention and while portion sizes were not gargantuan they weren’t pathetic either I felt they reflected a size that was appropriate for a healthy diet (meaning not a over abundance like most places). I believe they were mostly locally sourced which is a plus in our book. The owner came over and said hello and was incredibly inviting and welcoming. We felt very at home here and really enjoyed the environment, experience and of course the food.

Went here for breakfast on a Sat morning. Food was amazing!! It was 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the avocado toast, my husband had the cured salmon toast and we shared the potatoes with cheddar cheese. Everything was delicious! I also had a mimosa which they make with grapefruit juice & a bit of turmeric syrup. Loved it! Unfortunately we are from South Florida so we won't be able to enjoy this little gem in OTR often :( If you are a local, go! It won't dissapoint!!

The food, service and drinks were wonderful! Our server Hillary was very helpful and knowledgeable. We just moved to Cincy and have been recommended this place several times. Hillary was also helpful on recommendations of other local spots, which we really appreciate.

An all-around favorite for any meal or beverage need -- I cannot wait to see them re-open for in-house dining again (love their patio!!) and the staff is quite simply, always so pleasant to interact with. I appreciate how they have pivoted for safety measures during COVID as well as supporting local hospital-workers and frontline staff. You can't go wrong with their famous burger night or delicious brunch quiche!! Wine recs always spot-on.

An absolute gem of a restaurant, with friendly, professional, and attentive service. Nice vibes, comfortable yet also classy, and an open kitchen to see the delicious food that's about to come out. Speaking of that food the food is indeed delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and as local as it can get, I'm a huge fan of what they do here, and a recent brunch experience pretty much perfectly encapsulated it. Bottomless iced coffee, rich and indulgent biscuits and gravy, service with a smile, and an even let me do a little off menu side salad the day rocked. Going to be ashamed that they close up soon, but hopefully the purveyors and chefs can continue delivering an excellent dining experience elsewhere in the city. Until then get down the way and show some love!

The food quality and invention is above the price point. Add in a stellar wine list and a lively yet low key atmosphere and I think you've got one of the best spots in OTR.

I love limited menu restaurants and Pleasantry shows why. Had a delicious meal and saved enough room for Parmesan ice cream. Sounds unusual, but it was great. I really want to try brunch and hope to do so soon

What a perfect name. A random Wednesday night out with friends has never felt so wonderful. From the moment we stepped foot into the space we felt immediately welcomed as if we’d been there before. The staff, ambiance, music and overall feel of the restaurant was so familiar and fit the charm of the neighborhood. Then came the service, wine and food. Each step of the experience better than the one before. Loved the owner ( such swag :) He chose the perfect wine for us based on our “unrefined” description of what we like, lol. Our server @carrierstheband was warm and personable, fun, and incredibly kind. We loved him so much we invited him over for dinner and music! We had a mind blowing cabbage dish, insane trout and some bomb little fried olives… just wow. You know it’s a fabulous night when you want to savor every bite for eternity and become bffs with every person in the spot! Big love!

The first restaurant in Cincinnati where I felt like the staff treated me like family when I walked through the door. Their team loves working there and it shows. Delicious seasonally-inspired menu with some of the best natural wines the city has to offer. Quaint space and one of the city's best kept secret brunch spots. If you can, try to snag patio seating in the evening with the bistro lights overhead, some of the best ambiance in the area for date night.

Highly recommend! Food was yummy, staff friendly, atmosphere awesome! Of course it didn't hurt that the weather was beautiful so all windows and outdoor seating were available. Great location especially for before FCC game.
