We came in for brunch and the food was exceptional. We ordered the catch of the day (which was salmon with tomato basil risotto) and a shrimp and scallop dish as well. Both were delicious. Our server was great, he answered all of our questions. It was my birthday and they let me pick a dessert from the case! I got the three-layer mousse and I recommend it. Overall, great service and quality of food. We will be back!

We just went to French Crust for the first time during a Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time. We got the flat croissant with chicken, apple, and Swiss and a side soup of pork belly split pea soup, duo of salmon croissant with egg mimosa, avocado, tomatoes and a side of fruit, and a chocolate mousse. The food was delicate, purposeful, and wonderful, the closest to authentic French cuisine we've found in Cincinnati. The location and ambiance were very nice, and our server Javier was above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality French dining in the city.

Visited for the first time for their weekly lunch bar special and the meal was very good. All the food on the lunch special was first rate and very tasty. It was well prepared and served. It took a while for the meal to be served but it was worth the wait. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and well appointed.

Been visiting every week for the exciting Lunch Tray. Something to look forward to each week. Reminds me of my time in France. Service is there to match the excellent food. The bartender Billy is really knowledgeable about food and wine pairings!

Our food was okay, nothing particularly special. The wait for the food was quite lengthy. However, I did appreciate the creative touch of providing crayons to help pass the time!

Perfect business lunch during the week. Food and service superior in every way. Late brunch on Sunday food and coffee was perfect. New server was struggling and back of the house was 100% doing their best to compensate. My new go to if I want a guaranteed great experience. In the future, I will take more pics of the food and presentation....like looking at art...feel bad for disturbing it. Side note...least favorite so far is the scrambled egg sandwich. If you're sad, lonely or just need a ray of sunshine.....order the apple, endive and gruyere it is beautiful to look at....truly visual art...and then the combination of flavors, textures and colors just makes life better.

As my wife put it - "this is such a cute place". Indeed, it is. You feel like you are in France once you step in the door. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit here. First, the good: the food. My "Le Burger" had a nice char on the outside, but juicy inside. My wife enjoyed her Steak and Brie Sliders, but she said it could have used more brie. Our desserts were killer (just see my photo): mousse domes, one coffee and one a Valentine's Day special with a liquid pipette! On the negative side was the service. Even accounting for the European style of slow-pace dining...it was slow. They clearly needed more servers and/or bussers on this busy Saturday night. Dishes were piling up on tables, and not cleared. We were there over two hours - which isn't all bad if you enjoy the vibe, as we did. We would certainly come back here, as long as there's no hurry!

What a gem of a little French bistro! I love their Croque Monsieur (grilled ham and cheese with a sauce) and their delicious Cream of Chicken Soup. They serve coffees and cocktails. And there is a tiny attached bakery in the back of the restaurant (from which you can order while dining). There they have Pain au Chocolat (croissant with chocolate baked inside), Creme Brulee, etc. It is located in OTR, across the street from the Findley Market. Reservations are recommended especially during busy times such as weekends.

I love coming here! If I had to recommend a dish to try, it would be the puff pastry with goetta, the pancakes, and the chicken soup (fav bakery item is the pistachio croissant) although recently I have been delving into their daily specials. The most recent item I tried was the thanksgiving leftovers quiche with spinach, turkey, and cranberry as shown below. I would like to come during a weekday lunch to try the bar tray, it looks great from their instagram posts

We ordered the omelette du jour and creamy chicken soup and the salmon croissant sandwich with cold tomato sauce. The presentation was nice and simple. Creamy chicken soup was very delicious, the omelette du jour came in lukewarm and bland. The salmon croissant tasted good, but overall, not impressed with the food; the check didn't match the quality of the food. It also took a while to get our order. Keonte, our waiter, provided great and friendly service.

So yummy lunch at French Crust Bistro. Had the creamy Chicken soup, open croissant sandwich, and ham and Gruyère quiche and chocolate almond croissant. Every one of these were SO GOOD! This restaurant has the trifecta of great service, wonderful location and amazing food. Sorry the pictures all are of half eaten food - we were hungry and kept forgetting to take a picture first!

Great brunch spot, especially if you like delicious pastries. Cozy atmosphere, excellent service. Findlay Market is across the street. I often enjoy their omelette or quiche du jour with a cup of soup. All of the savory croissants are good too. Convenient parking as well as very close street car stop.

Surprised as to how delicious the food was and the exceptional service we received from our waiter. Creative decor and nice atmosphere! Would have given a five star but we had to wait more than 30 minutes for a table as the hostess said they only had 2 servers.

I stopped at 3 other places at Findlay market, this was the best. Good prices, lower than I expected, $6 beers, several nice appetizers less than $10. I got the mac and cheese with goetta sausage. Really good, nice sauteed mushrooms and some onion and celery in there, well done dish! Great atmosphere too, really classy.
