By far and away THE best gyros around. Authentic Greek style dishes and desserts inside Findlay Market. A MUST anytime that I am through downtown Cincinnati. Too bad they are closed on Mondays.
I have only had deserts here and most recently, tried the baklava, which was excellent. Would like to return to try other items on the menu at this little stand in Findlay. I love Gyros so that's next on my list.
In my mind, this is the best gyro to be found in the Cincinnati area from an eatery not named Sebastians. Very tasty, well packed with juicy and flavorful gyro meat cut from a traditional vertical spit, and reasonably priced as well. Service with a smile, every time. On days when I was a little extra hungry (the gyro alone makes a very filling meal) I have also had the spanakopita, the cheese triangles (same as the spanakopita except no spinach) and the baklava, and all have been great. Usually these last three are provided by default cold or at room temperature, but they will warm them on request, and I recommend requesting it.
Come hungry! These gyros are big and delicious! The meat is a blend of beef and lamb and is very flavorful. Highly recommend! It really is one of the best gyros in town.
PERFECT GYRO'S!!!. ... 'nough said!
Great street food at a great market!. Areti's Gyros are enormous and very good. Pick one up to munch on while browsing the cases at Findlay Market. Better yet share one with your significant other. As they always say..."Don't shop for food on an empty stomach!" Enjoy!
Delicious.. Really really great. I'm out every saturday and don't have much time for lunch, so areti's is ALWAYS a great choice. Its quick and amazing. One of the better gyros i've ever had, and I'm a gyro pro. Plus, Findlay Market rocks. Yay Areti's!
Best Gyro. This comes in 1st with Med. Foods on Ludlow being a close second. The owners are sweet folks, the greek pita is nice and chewy, and I love the tzatziki sauce so much, I buy it from them to have at home!
This was my first trip to Findlay Market - on Christmas Eve. I haven't boycotted it or anything. I have these notions that I would go to somewhere like Jungle Jim's or Findlay Market and just bankrupt myself in a day buying food. That didn't happen this time, thankfully. I went originally to buy vegan waffles but through an error there were none. I decided before leaving that I was indeed hungry so I went here based on my nose leading me to the wonderful smell. I am drawn to Greek food. It started long bef
yesterday maggie texted me because she needed her weekly dojo gelato fix and she knew i would be up for joining her. our current favorite thing is the fior di latte gelato with amarena cherry topping. i decided i needed something other than ice cream in m
Areti’s is fantastic. The meat is moist and flavorful (and they don’t skimp on it– there was more than I could eat), the tzatiki thick, tangy and a little garlicky, and the onions had been softened just a bit by the meat.
There is an actual Areti. And there is a George. In the spring of 2009 Areti and George opened Areti's Gyros, located in the east wing of the Market house. Since opening, Areti and George have gone from two small gyro machines, to three large gyro machines, which has helped them keep up with the demand for the popular wrap. The gyros are a recipe of beef and lamb, hand sliced from spits, as the shopper can watch. Recommended dishes: Tirokaftero, Rosiki Salata, Taramo Salata (the best!) and Pantzari. Absolutely try the desserts – yummy baklava is our favorite.
Great little restaurant for Greek food. Bought some desserts for the family and were delicious.
This is always my first stop when I go to Findlay Market. Their Gyros sandwich is the best I’ve had outside of Chicago. Their sauce is homemade. I’m always greeted with a friendly smile and positive attitude. An absolute must have for me when I visit Findlay Market.
This place gives more meat than any other Gyro place we've ever been to! Seriously. The Gyro is about 80% meat and 20% wrap and veggies. Also, the price is pretty amazing - $5 I believe?
We also tried the little spanakopita, but it was pretty disappointing. First off, it was microwaved. Which made the pastry dough wet and flimsy instead of crispy. Second, the filling has absolutely no flavor. And possibly no cheese?? Fail.
But we will have to return for another Gyro and maybe to try some baklava.
The greatest gyros in Cincinnati. I've been attempting to try all the good gyros in town but nothing compares so I keep coming back. I can't go into Findlay Market without getting one.
Biggest and best gyro I’ve ever had hands down. Can’t wait to go back and try more! This will now be my go to for authentic Greek food in Cincinnati.
My absolute favorite gyros in the city. The staff are always quick and friendly. I can always count on Areti’s for lunch when I’m there.

Best gyros I've ever had. Tons of meat, great taste and fairly cheap
Has the best gyro in town! Just wish it had a location closer to downtown business district!
Delicious gyros. Good sized portions. Literally going to get up and get one now
Best gyro I've ever had. They do not skimp on quality or quantity.
